Chapter 29: Chapter 26: Super Monster with Maxed-Out Attack and Defense Power

As the saying goes: know your enemy and know yourself, and you will be victorious in every battle.

Although Qin Feng had already decided to go all out against the Violent Bear Boss, he wasn’t in a hurry to attack.

Their effects seemed rather ordinary.

Other than needing good positioning and dodging to avoid those two AoE damage skills, there was nothing that required special attention.

Three traits.

In reality, these were three unique Talents that only Boss-level creatures could awaken.

Although Qin Feng had yet to fully grasp the judgment principles of the Lord System, based on existing information and logical deduction, the Violent Bear Boss was clearly a Heroic Unit within the Demon Beast hierarchy. Its very existence and power far surpassed that of an ordinary Forest Demon.

Take the Forest Wolf for example.

An ordinary wild Forest Wolf has a Combat Evaluation of Zero-star (White), and its Panel Attributes are only slightly better than the villager units a Divine Chosen Lord starts with.

A Zoo Forest Wolf incorporated into his legion would have its Combat Evaluation temporarily boosted to Zero-star (Green) as long as it was within the range of Qin Feng’s War Blessing aura. And with its Panel Attributes doubled, it would surpass the Fire Fox Soldiers, who were also at the Zero-star (Green) level, and possess even greater individual combat strength.

Then there was a Forest Wolf that evolved into a Heroic Unit. Possessing the exclusive Boss Talent, Strong Body, its Combat Evaluation would rise to at least Zero-star (Blue), and its Panel Attributes would certainly be greater than the other two combined.

And after that, there was the Forest Wolf Boss that Qin Feng had subdued.

The Lord’s Aura from the King of War directly doubled its already insane Panel Attributes, and the six-piece set of Lord’s Equipment granted it crucial additional Attack, Defense, and Life Values.

At this point, the Forest Wolf Boss soldier’s Combat Evaluation was at least Zero-star (Purple).

Furthermore, if it got serious, as a Heroic Unit, it could absolutely dominate the three aforementioned types of Forest Wolves.

Just as the Violent Bear Boss before him could dominate all the Soldier Types under his command.

The two sides were in completely different leagues.

’It would be relying entirely on the heaven-defying effect of its Fixed Damage Reduction.’

’That Talent would be adding a temporary boost to its Defense Power.’

’That’s how it’s artificially inflated to a combat power level comparable to a standard Zero-star (Purple) creature.’

’Without the Fixed Damage Reduction Talent, the Violent Bear Boss’s combat power would plummet.’

’If I use my Boiling skill, even my Forest Wolf Pack, despite having inferior Panel Attributes, could gain a temporary Zero-star (Blue) evaluation and have a chance to defeat it in a direct confrontation...’

’The second case...’

’...would mean the Violent Bear Boss’s true strength is even greater than what I’m seeing now.’

’It would be a true Zero-star (Purple) in terms of combat power.’

’A monster among monsters.’

’And on top of that, any insignificant damage the Violent Bear takes in battle would be reduced by another 50%.’

’Damage from ordinary beasts would likely be in the single digits. Sometimes, they might not even deal 1 point of damage, with the number dipping into decimals... ’

With these thoughts, Qin Feng lowered his gaze, lost in contemplation. His fingertips unconsciously tapped the dagger at his waist as his mind wove through the intricacies of both possibilities, weighing each one carefully.

Ultimately, he reached a conclusion.

The Violent Bear’s Fixed Damage Reduction Talent had to be a hidden source of power.

He hadn’t engaged the Violent Bear Boss yet, so its Level Suppression Talent hadn’t activated and temporarily reduced his Four-dimensional Attributes.

Therefore, by the same logic, since Qin Feng hadn’t damaged it yet, its Fixed Damage Reduction Talent must also be inactive, in a standby state.

The Defense Power value currently floating in the Void was its true, base panel, displayed for all to see in its Normal State.

It was a super-monster with maxed-out attack and Defense Power.

Faced with such a powerful enemy, the Forest Wolf Pack that could so easily tear out the throats of Ratman Warriors...

even if they swarmed it like a black tide, their sharp teeth gnawing on its keratin-covered hide would only produce a shower of sparks, like a blunt axe striking a Profound Iron Giant Shield.
