Livestream: Unlimited Experience!-Chapter 60: Wild Response On TokTok
Hearing her question, Robert glanced at Jay’s face before shaking his head.
"No, I was just making that up to disgust this guy."
Robert chuckled while looking at Jay.
Valery looked thoughtful after hearing his answer.
Not bothering with his antics, Jay asked Robert what he’s doing here at the empty lot.
"Oh, I was thinking about getting some mango to sell."
"Sell? Where are you going to sell mangoes?"
"On the streets, of course. I have a moving stall, it’s my business now."
Jay nodded while looking at Robert with admiration.
"You’re still the same, huh. Still business minded as ever. I bet you’re going to get rich someday."
With a wide smile, Robert patted his shoulders.
"Well, I will hold on to your blessings, brother."
After chatting for a bit, Robert excused himself for a bit and started climbing a tree.
The mangoes in this lot usually just go to waste because no one really harvests it.
It was really neglected by Jay’s family.
Because of that, they aren’t really stingy and let others get some of the fruits if they want.
Just like now, Robert is harvesting mangoes from their tree.
Jay and Valery watched Robert climb the tree while carrying a sack where he put all the mango.
This lasted for almost 30 minutes before Robert got all he needed and climbed down the tree.
"I got a lot again this time."
Carrying his sack, Robert walked up to Jay and showed him how much he got.
"It seems like you’re getting better at climbing trees now, huh."
As if remembering something from the past, Jay chuckled,
"It almost feels like you’re not the kid who couldn’t even join us when we climb the tree because he’s afraid of heights."
At his words, even Robert started laughing. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
"It can’t be helped, man. I’ve experienced a lot by now and I have to always remain courageous. Thanks to that, I have long since got over my fear of heights."
"Because now, I’m more afraid of being hungry!"
Jay and Robert had a joyful conversation for a while more until Robert said,
"Well, I still have to go out and open my stall. That’s why, I’ll go first for now, Jay."
Saying goodbye to Jay and Valery, Robert left with his sack full of mangoes.
Watching Robert leave, Valery suddenly said, "You’re really close to your childhood friends, huh."
"Yeah, they were the ones that I spent most of my days back when I was young after all."
Jay answered with a hint of nostalgia in his voice.
Valery stared at Jay’s side profile for a while. An emotion similar to envy and jealousy but not quite the same appeared in her heart quietly.
The two spent a couple more minutes at the lot before they decided to go back home.
On the way back, Jay asked Valery what she’s going to do from now on and she answered,
"I don’t know. Since you’re leaving the city, how about I just follow you?"
Not taking her words seriously, Jay just laughed it off and the two of them reached Jay’s house.
After they arrived, Valery didn’t stay for long anymore. Knowing that Jay is still going out today, she left after saying goodbye to Jay and his family.
With Valery gone, Jay went to the bathroom and took a shower.
After coming out, he dressed up and wore a plain khaki polo for the top and black shorts.
Lastly, he wore a sneaker to complete his outside.
Looking at his own reflection in the mirror, Jay flashed a satisfied smile.
"Good. I still look alright."
After he’s all done, Jay came out and went to his parents first.
He talked to them for a while and also told them that he’s going back to Iba now.
Hearing this, his mother looked a bit sad. Then, she started reminding him about this and that, to which Jay just listened honestly.
At 11 AM, Jay left the house under the caring gaze of his parents.
...
Since he brought nothing with him, Jay is pretty relaxed as he walks outside.
Riding the public transportation jeepney, Jay headed to the bus terminal in a leisurely manner.
When he reached the terminal, Jay rode a bus that was heading to Iba without hesitation.
Since it’s still early, the bus is still parked and waiting for more passengers.
While waiting, Jay took out his phone and opened his social media to pass the time.
Jay first sent a message to Valery on TRIBi, informing her that he’s already on his way to Iba.
After doing that, he went to his TokTok to watch some short videos.
However, just as he opened the app, he was surprised to see the number of notifications he has.
99+!
"Oh? How come there’s so much?"
Pressing the bell button, the notification messages were presented in front of Jay.
Taking a closer look, all the notifications were actually from the videos he posted last night.
He posted a total of three videos.
First was his first meeting with Valery. Next, the time he spent with Valery playing around the arcade. And lastly, the video of their picnic that he took yesterday.
Those videos range from 4 to 9 minutes long and don’t contain a lot, but also not a few.
And right now, Jay looked at the data of those videos with a hint of surprise.
Because right now, each one of them actually has hundreds of thousands of views, tens of thousands of likes, and even more comments!
Just looking at this data, you can see that his videos have gone viral!
Staring at the background data for a while, Jay couldn’t help himself but be amazed.
"It got so much response after just a few hours of it being posted..."
Opening the comments section, Jay found that the audience varies.
At a glance, you can see that there are a lot of people who are familiar with him.
Obviously, they are his viewers.
But beside them, there are also some new people who left a comment that praises him or Valery.
