Livestream: Unlimited Experience!-Chapter 58: Valery’s House Visit
Jay’s family home.
Jay is still in the living room with his whole family, and also Valery.
Jay looked at Valery with furrowed brows and curiously asked,
"What are you doing here so early, Val? No, how did you even find my house?"
This is actually the question that’s bugging Jay the most right now.
From the beginning to now, he doesn’t remember any instance of him ever divulging his address to anyone on his social media.
Because of that, it should be impossible for just anyone to know where he lives.
But here is Valery, sitting in their living room, looking at him with a cheerful smile.
Jay scratched his head in confusion as to how this happened.
However, he didn’t have to wonder for long as someone immediately answered his confusion.
"Me, it’s me, brother!"
Jean who’s sitting just right beside Jay tapped him on the shoulder and raised her hand with a smile.
Jay looked at her with questions in his eyes.
Flashing a mischievous smile, Jean said,
"Hehe, I was the one who gave our address to Sister Valery."
However, this answer just added more questions to Jay’s mind.
"How did you even know her?"
"Ah, I’ll tell you about that."
This time, it’s no longer Jean who answered but Valery.
Turning his attention to her, Jay perked up his ears to listen to her explanation.
Soon, Jay understood the whole situation.
Last night, Valery accidentally found Jean’s social media account on Jay’s TRIBi.
After looking at it, she managed to guess that Jean is Jay’s sister and decided to send her a message.
They talked for a while last night and also got to know each other.
With Jay as their topic, their conversation proceeded in a smooth manner and immediately became close.
Unexpectedly, while they were just talking, Jean actually invited Valery to their house to which Valery happily accepted.
And that is how the scene right now came into being.
After listening to everything, Jay nodded in understanding.
"Okay, I get it now."
Then he turned his gaze to his sister beside him with a stern look.
"However, why did you invite someone who you only got to know online for a few hours to our house?"
Jean flinched after seeing that her brother seemed to be angry.
"B-but, I made sure that she’s telling the truth, brother. I even asked Sister Valery to send me a picture of you together to make sure that she’s not lying."
Whispering with her head down, Jean looked a little pitiful to the eyes of others.
But knowing the personality of his sister, Jay just rolled his eyes at her.
"Okay, okay, don’t use that overused acting routine of yours to me."
Just a second after Jay said that, Jean raised her head again and flashed a smile at Jay.
Jay could do nothing with this sister of his and just let out a helpless sigh.
Ignoring her, Jay turned his attention back to Valery and asked,
"You came here really early, did you eat breakfast already?"
Valery shook her head,
"I haven’t eaten yet. But I brought some food for all of us to enjoy!"
Jay found that at the dining table in the kitchen, there’s a few plastics containing food.
"Oh, Jay, this girl Valery is such a good girl. She shouldn’t have bothered bringing something if she’s going to come."
At this time, his mother also turned to him and spoke with a joyful tone.
Then she shifted her gaze to Valery and the appreciative look in her eyes couldn’t even be hidden.
Hearing his mother’s words, Jay nodded and said to Valery,
"That’s right, Val. You didn’t have to bring all those."
"How could I do that? Since I’m visiting your house, it’s only normal for me to bring something. If I don’t, I feel like it’ll be disrespectful to Uncle and Auntie."
Valery’s words immediately raised the appreciation of both Jay’s father and mother to her by dozens of points.
Hearing that, what else could Jay say?
He didn’t say anything more since it’ll be too hypocritical to say anything more.
At this time, Jay suddenly felt hunger assaulting his stomach.
Rubbing it for a bit, he said,
"Since that’s the case, let’s stop sitting here and let’s eat breakfast first."
Immediately, his mother agreed and stood up first.
"That’s right, let’s go and eat first. Come here, Valery, let’s all eat together now."
Feeling his mother being affectionate to Valery, Jay paused for a moment before shaking his head.
Soon, everyone went to the dining table and took a seat around.
Valery sat down on Jay’s right and Jean on his left. Then on the other side of the table sat their parents.
Valery brought quite a lot of food this time. There are pancit malabon, silog meals, and even some kakanin.
(AN: Silog is a type of meal that contains "Si"nangag or fried rice and it"log" or eggs. Kakanin are rice cakes.)
With smiles on their faces, the family ate with relish while having a joyful conversation from time to time.
Jay’s mother asked a few questions to Valery to which she answered politely.
After an hour, they ended the breakfast in a happy atmosphere.
Jay took the tasks of washing the dishes. Valery also volunteered to help him, but he declined without hesitation.
After he was done with the dishes, Jay invited Valery, who’s talking to his parents, to take a walk around outside.
...
Walking side by side, Jay toured Valery around his house. He even brought her to the place that he showed to everyone on his live stream last time.
"Wow..."
Looking at the blue sky above and all the houses below, Valery can’t help but be mesmerized by the scenery for a while.
Jay looked at her face and smiled, "Isn’t it great here?"
Valery nodded but didn’t say anything else.
Turning his eyes in front again, Jay said,
"Whenever I feel sad in the past, I always come here. Because when I’m here, I can see almost the whole city and that keeps me grounded.
