Little Sorcerer, Divine Doctor-Chapter 913 - 65: Limit Breakthrough
It had been twenty hours since Yun Sheng hadn’t taken the antidote.
During these twenty hours, Yun Sheng had fallen unconscious multiple times and was awakened each time by Empress Qing and Qing Qiang with cold water.
Yun Sheng’s physical strength was severely depleted.
But the worst part was, she could feel that every time she awoke from a coma, the organs inside her body would suffer a fatal damage.
If not for her remarkable willpower, just the pain from her damaged organs would have been enough to kill her multiple times.
Yun Sheng was a doctor, and no one understood the human body more than she did.
With her body in such a shattered state, unless there was an elixir or top-notch Light Magic, she was doomed to die.
As the Silver Snake moved on her arm, there was a dull tearing sound somewhere inside Yun Sheng, either from her heart or lungs, and she only felt a warm, metallic taste rising in her mouth.
Everything turned pitch black before her eyes, and just as she was about to lose consciousness, Ye Beiming’s face flashed across her mind.
Ye Beiming looked very sad, as if he was shouting at her, "Little Wildcat, you must hold on."
The damn fox, why don’t you try holding on instead?
Fox... so much pain...
As Yun Sheng’s consciousness slowly drifted away, she felt her awareness becoming light and airy, ready to float away from her body and vanish into the air at any moment.
Just as Yun Sheng thought she was going to die in this dark, hopeless Heavenly Prison, she heard an old, kind voice lingering by her ear.
"Oh Sheng, from today onwards, the Yan Family’s heirloom will be passed on to you; you must take good care of the Shennong Bracelet. Remember, no matter when, always be strong. Our Yan Family is not a family that gives in to fate. Grandpa and the ancestors of the Yan Family will always protect you." An old man with a white beard reaching his chest removed a bracelet from his hand and placed it on hers.
That year, Yun Sheng had just turned eighteen.
Shortly after the bracelet was handed over, grandpa passed away.
Perhaps foreseeing that his life was nearing its end, grandpa passed on the bracelet.
A tear rolled from the corner of her eye, hot and landing on the corner of her mouth, tasting a bit salty.
Grandpa, Sheng’er can’t hold on any longer.
It had been a long time since Yun Sheng had recalled the people and events from before she crossed over to this world.
No one had visited grandpa’s grave, which had been unattended for years.
Would grandpa blame her?
If she managed to survive this time, Yun Sheng decided she would erect a tombstone for grandpa in the other world.
But... does she really have another chance?
The darkness completely engulfed her consciousness, her body temperature gradually cooling like drowning in a bottomless lake.
In the dim Heavenly Prison, Yun Sheng lay quietly on the ground, her Life Force slowly slipping away from her.
The Shennong Bracelet on her hand emitted a radiant seven-colored light, and from the bracelet, infused with the will of countless generations, a pure force surged forth.
That force, like an electric current, swiftly coursed through her body, rapidly healing her nearly shattered organs at an incredible speed under its miraculous influence.
The bleeding in her internal organs ceased, her depleted blood vessels were rejuvenated, her pulse resumed its rhythm, and above Yun Sheng appeared the most beautiful rainbow-like Magic Soul.
Yun Sheng’s Magic Soul resonated and responded to the incredible power from the Shennong Bracelet, creating a heavenly sound full of joy.
The light from both the Magic Soul and the Shennong Bracelet gently bathed Yun Sheng.
In the chaos, Yun Sheng felt like a traveler in the desert who had been walking for days, parched and exhausted, seemingly on the brink of being consumed by death.
But then, ahead of her, appeared a sudden oasis.
An oasis?!
Her consciousness suddenly became clear.
Yun Sheng’s eyelids fluttered, and her long eyelashes quivered as she opened her eyes.
The prison remained, as did the emptiness around her.
Her eyes, once pitch-black, had turned to gold.
She propped herself up on her arms and sat up.
"What is this?" Yun Sheng was taken aback.
She felt her body restored to its former vitality.
The Magic Power that had completely vanished had suddenly returned.
The most surprising to Yun Sheng was that the Silver Dream Snake on her arm was bound by a seven-colored force.
That force kept depleting but still tenaciously bound the Dream Snake.
"Is this the power from the Shennong Bracelet? It’s grandpa..." Yun Sheng couldn’t help but feel a soreness in her nose, realizing it was her grandpa and the goodwill of countless Yan Family ancestors blessing her.
What astounded Yun Sheng most was discovering that her Shennong’s Eyes had broken through. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
No one in the Yan Family had ever reached the Fourth Level, the rumored level only achieved by the Flame Emperor of Shennong. Yet, she broke through it.
Yun Sheng surveyed her surroundings, realizing her vision was extraordinarily clear, able to see even a single hair within the Heavenly Prison.
"Qing Empress, Qing Qiang, it’s time for us to settle our grievances," Yun Sheng’s dimples were extraordinarily charming at the corners of her mouth as her golden eyes slowly reverted to black.
Her identity had already been exposed; staying in Hou Qin would only bring trouble to the Yun Residence and Ye Huli.
Though she didn’t know how long the power of the Shennong Bracelet could help her restrain the Soul Dreaming, she had to make an effort.
Having died once, she had nothing to lose.
Hu Sheng was still in their hands; she had to leave Hou Qin immediately.
Yun Sheng leaped up and dashed out of the cell.
As soon as she rushed out, Donghuang Lingling and Lady Chi Bi entered.
"Yun Sheng, you!" Donghuang Lingling, coordinating well with Yun Sheng, understood immediately upon seeing her.
Expecting to see Yun Sheng in a pitiful, near-death state, little did they know the Yun Sheng before them was vibrant and agile.
"Guards," Lady Chi Bi exclaimed in shock, just about to scream.
A thin, peculiar knife that was sharp as a cicada’s wing was already pressed against her throat.
With just a slight flick, Lady Chi Bi felt a nick opened on her throat.
The scent of blood wafted out.
"Chi Bi, you can try whether your shout is faster, or my knife, whether I make a cut on your throat or face?" Yun Sheng easily spotted that her earlier plan with Donghuang Lingling had succeeded.
Lady Chi Bi was cold all over, knowing Yun Sheng was a little madman who did as she said.
Yun Sheng subdued Lady Chi Bi, snatching her Magic Wand away.
Her own Magic Wand was earlier confiscated by Dugu Xiu.
If she guessed correctly, it should still be at the Yu Yu Pavilion, but Lady Chi Bi was a Mage as well, and her wand would have to do for now as she made her escape.
