Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World-Chapter 1462 - 1459: Report
An orc laughed heartily as he walked out: "You guys are finally back; the Shaman and the Clan Leader have been waiting for you a long time."
As he spoke, he draped his arm over the shoulder of the tall, strong orc: "I thought you might have died out there."
The tall, strong orc glared at him upon hearing this: "You better shut up, I have important matters to report to the Clan Leader and the Shaman, take me to them quickly."
The orc naturally understood the urgency of their mission, so he stopped joking and led the tall, strong orc and his companions to the Shaman and Clan Leader’s tent.
During this disaster, many from the Crow Tribe also perished.
After several quakes, they realized that the caves were uninhabitable, so they set up tents on an open area farther from the mountains.
The Shaman and Clan Leader, who were discussing matters in the tent, showed joy on their faces when the tall, strong orc entered: "How is it? Did you find the Alonzo Tribe?"
The tall, strong orc, whose face seldom showed emotion, revealed a faint smile: "We found it."
The Clan Leader and Shaman burst into laughter, their hearts filled with relief.
The Shaman beckoned him to sit down: "You weren’t discovered, were you?"
Upon hearing this, the gaze of the tall, strong orc flickered with disdain: "We followed one of their hunting squads to find the Alonzo Tribe; the highest level evolved orc in that squad was only second-level, so they couldn’t detect us.
After confirming the location of their tribe’s base, I led our people back; they can’t discover us."
The Shaman and Clan Leader looked relieved: "You should go rest soon. Today’s hunting team brought back plenty of fresh prey. Rest up, and you’ll take down more orcs from the Alonzo Tribe later."
The tall, strong orc nodded resolutely: "Rest assured."
Just as he was about to turn and leave, he hesitated and looked back at the Shaman and Clan Leader, his expression conflicted.
The Shaman seemed to perceive his hesitation: "What’s wrong? Is there something else?"
The tall, strong orc hesitated for a while, then decided to tell them about killing a medium-ranked tribe orc: "When we passed through the territory of a medium-ranked tribe, we stole their food.
At the time, only one witness was guarding the food, so we conveniently killed him."
The Shaman nodded: "Just an orc from a medium-ranked tribe, killed as killed."
The tall, strong orc pursed his lips: "But only afterward did we learn that this medium-ranked tribe actually has a shaman."
The Shaman stood up abruptly upon hearing this: "You killed an orc from a medium-ranked tribe protected by a shaman?"
The tall, strong orc felt a tinge of bitterness as he saw the Shaman’s intense reaction: "Yes, I sent people to inquire with neighboring small tribes and learned that this shaman had traveled here from another continent."
Now the Shaman frowned even deeper, pacing back and forth in the tent; after a long while, he sighed helplessly: "Shamans who travel are always from the largest tribes in every mountain forest, and they’re definitely accompanied by high-level evolved orcs." He said, frowning at the tall, strong orc: "How could you be so careless?"
The tall, strong orc sighed and then informed the elder Shaman about the disappearance of the clan members’ bodies in the Stone Forest.
