"Mmm…" she mumbled before quieting down, watching the show as she gently patted Fafnir, who was now sitting in her lap. He, too, was focused on the screen, seemingly having forgotten the rivalry he had with the Empress.

And just like that, time passed. Soon, two days had gone by, making it nearly two weeks since I had arrived here. Finally, tomorrow would be the day everyone would leave.

During this time, the Empress stayed with us for the most part—constantly bickering and waging her own little wars with Luna. The two clashed at least six times a day, their verbal battles as fierce as their playful fights. Sometimes the Empress won, sometimes Luna, each using their sharp wit to outmaneuver the other.

Their antics filled the house with laughter, making these days not just peaceful, but truly enjoyable.

I sighed, remembering it all before drifting off to sleep—a peaceful rest.

Who knows when I'll get to sleep this peacefully again…

I woke up just like I usually did. After freshening up, I left my room—only to find Luna waiting right outside, clutching Fafnir in her little hands.

"Sheesh, Big Bear! Still lazy even in the morning? You never learn, do you?" She huffed, exaggerating her annoyance. "Look, I've been waiting for almost two minutes! Okay, fine—two whole minutes!"

My mouth twitched slightly. Even now, I wasn't entirely used to her teasing me every morning. But today, I wasn't in the mood to banter. Ignoring her, I simply humped and started walking downstairs.

Luna, clearly unimpressed with my lack of response, stomped her foot. "Hey! Wait for me, you big dum-dum!"

As we went to the dining room, where we usually had breakfast with Mother and Father, something felt… different. Unlike every other morning, a palpable silence was hanging in the air.

A palpable silence in the air—one shared by both my mother and father.

They knew that today, they would leave Earth. More importantly, they knew they wouldn't be returning anytime soon. The peaceful life they had built here was coming to an end—all because of what their son had told them about the future. And they trusted him completely.

Across the table, Luna's spoon clattered noisily against her bowl, her legs swinging with restless energy. "Big Bear, are you going to eat your toast, or can I have it?" she asked around a mouthful of cereal, not noticing Mother and Father's silence.

Clearly, Luna was excited. She had no real concept of what was about to happen in the not-so-distant future. Even if she had known, she wouldn't have cared much. She would've just said, "That's why we have Big Bear, isn't it? He'll protect us!"

That was the trust she had in me—especially after seeing that I could use magic and do incredible things.

Of course, that didn't stop her from roasting me daily, saying I wasn't cool and all that, just because she couldn't do those things herself. She always wanted to have the upper hand over me in any way she could—but only for fun and games. When it came to serious matters, she knew that she, and everyone else, could depend on me.

Back to reality.

For her, today wasn't about leaving home —it was about finally taking the first step toward her dream of becoming a mage. Clearly, She was already halfway to just that dream world in her mind - one with spellbooks and wizard robes, where her biggest concern would be memorizing incantations.

She was like a little girl who couldn't wait to step onto the stage of her destiny, shoveling down her food faster and faster—until Mom frowned and scolded her.

Our mother frowned seeing that before scolding her.

"What are you doing, Luna? Eating so fast like that!" Mom's voice was sharper than usual. "Slow down before you choke."

Though she was scolding, her warmth didn't fade at all.

Luna froze for a moment before simply smiling in response, saying nothing. But she did slow down, taking smaller bites—not wanting to anger her mom, she did as she was told.

And just like that, we finished our breakfast.

She just smiled, not saying anything, but she slowly began to eat at a gentler pace, savoring each bite. Just like that, we finished our breakfast. Afterward, Mom cleared everything with Dad's help.

Then, she paused, looking around the house where she had spent so much of her life—where countless happy memories were made, memories she cherished deeply. A single tear formed in her eye as she relived those moments before sighing and wiping it away.

"Let's go, son," she said, turning to me.

I sighed too but reassured her, "Don't worry, Mom. We'll come back again, won't we? Once everything settles down?"

Luna chimed in, though excited, she also knew they wouldn't return for quite some time. "Yes, Mom. Big Bear is right. And it's not like this place will disappear."

"They're right, honey," my father said, embracing her. "We're protecting this place, even as we leave. Remember that."

Hearing the words of her son, daughter, and husband, Mom just hummed, shaking her head at our silly optimism.

This time, Mother Amiela spoke seriously.

"Let's go, son."

I nodded at her before snapping my fingers. A single crack formed in the air before us, slowly expanding and shifting until it fully stabilized into a portal.

Luna's eyes sparkled like stars as she cheered in pure excitement.

"Wow!" she gasped, completely captivated by the dazzling sight—something she had only ever seen in cartoons and fantasy stories.

Our father and Mother were equally astonished, standing still as they took in the sight.

Seeing the three of them frozen in awe, I shook my head and chuckled slightly.

"Come on, everyone, let's go."

Hearing my voice snapped them out of their daze—Luna from her world of imagination, and the others from their realm of astonishment.

I glanced at Fafnir, who immediately understood my silent command. Without hesitation, he wriggled free from Luna's grasp and darted straight into the portal.

"Hey! Fafnir, wait!" Luna shouted, chasing after him.

Seeing her go in, our mother and father followed suit, stepping through the shimmering gateway.

Left alone on this side, I turned back to look at our house one last time, muttering something under my breath. Then, without hesitation, I stepped into the portal.

The gateway shimmered for a brief moment before slowly collapsing in on itself—vanishing as if it had never existed in the first place.

Luna, who had just dashed after Fafnir through the portal, froze the moment she saw the sight before her. She completely forgot about chasing the little wolf, her eyes widening in pure awe.

My mother and father, who had followed through, were just as stunned. The breathtaking beauty of the Universal Plane stretched out before them—a sight both heavenly and surreal.

Before them lay an endless expanse of lush, green plains, the grass stretching as far as the horizon. To their left, majestic mountains rose so high into the sky that their peaks were lost in the clouds, hidden beyond their sight. The sheer scale of them made it impossible to tell where they ended.

To their right stood an ancient forest, filled with colossal trees so massive that they almost doubted they were trees at all. The forest stretched infinitely into the distance, and among them was a tree so enormous, so awe-inspiring, that it left them speechless once more.

Each of them instinctively took a deep breath—and in doing so, they felt something strange yet invigorating. The air here was so pure, so potent, that it filled their bodies with newfound energy, making them feel lighter, stronger, alive.

Stepping out of the portal behind them, I smirked at their stunned expressions and asked,

"Heavenly, isn't it?"

Luna, Mother, and Father all nodded simultaneously, unable to deny my words.

"This… is the Origin Planet."

I gestured towards the towering mountains on our left.

"Those mountains you see? I've named them the Endless Mountains. They stretch so far and rise so high that their peaks are lost in the heavens."

Turning to the right, I pointed at the vast, ancient forest.

"And that forest over there is the Endless Origin Forest—an ancient land of mystery and power."

Finally, my gaze shifted to the colossal tree standing far in the distance, dwarfing everything around it.

"As for that massive tree…" I paused for a moment before continuing, "It is the World Tree—or rather, the Origin Tree."

Their eyes widened as they took in my words, the sheer magnitude of the names sinking in.

Luna, still in a daze from the overwhelming sight, slowly turned toward me. Her expression was… strange.

Then, with an exaggerated shake of her head, as if deeply disappointed, she sighed and said,

"Brother… your naming sense is terrible."

She dragged out the last word, staring at me like I had just committed the ultimate crime.

"Huh?" I blinked in confusion, completely caught off guard.

Hearing Luna's remark, both Mother and Father burst into laughter.

"Indeed, son," Father said between chuckles. "The princess is right. For such a heavenly place, your names… well, let's just say they lack imagination."

Mother nodded, wiping away a tear of laughter. "Truly terrible. Of all the grand names you could have chosen… Endless Mountains? Origin Forest? Come on, son."

I stared at them, completely dumbfounded. "I… all of you…" I fumbled for words, feeling utterly betrayed. world.
