Last Shelter Online-Chapter 222 The Meeting
Hiro handed over Aaron’s Charm to the Elve Queen who had slashed the knife into her palm and made her blood flow out. Based on what the woman had said, she had to use her blood to activate the magic effect in Aaron’s Charm, so that it could be used as a key to a forbidden place.
Even so, to get the queen’s blood, Hiro had to make a transaction in the form of an agreement. The queen asked Hiro that he had to give Aaron’s Charm to her after Hiro finished his business using it. And Hiro agreed because there was no other way to get the queen’s blood other than to comply with her request. It seemed that was the way the story was written by the developer.

Just one drop of blood from the Elve Queen, the stone crystal suddenly gave off a bright light as if it was answering a call. And the light grew wider and became very dazzling.
When Hiro could only see a blank white colour because of the light, suddenly a moving writing appeared in front of him
[Aaron’s Charm has been reactivated. Aaron was the strongest high priest in his era, and he sacrificed himself for a very noble deed which was to stop the arrogance of the invincible strongest demon lord. Memories of him will always be remembered by anyone who knows those dark times. And Aaron’s soul will keep living on in this sealed stone. To any adventurers who managed to awaken Aaron’s soul, thank you. May Aaron’s blessings continue to be with you.]
After the animation ended, the very bright light was sucked into the gemstone in Hiro’s hand again. This time, the gemstone had its own glow and continued to glow like a firefly. Hiro glanced at the Elve Queen to see her reaction, and the woman turned out to be sobbing while wiping the tears that trickled down her cheeks. It looked very dramatic in Hiro’s eyes.
“So beautiful, I can hear the voice of Aaron’s ancestor speaking to you, The Son of Lucifer.” The woman kept sobbing. Even when she took out a white handkerchief from the empty air, the tears were still flowing down from her eyes. Hiro waited for another clue that should have appeared right now, but he got nothing, as if the story part of Aaron’s Charm had ended there.
Finally, Hiro and RobinHood02 left the palace, leaving the queen who was still crying dramatically over something that was no longer there. It was impossible to have a talk with the woman right now. Because every time Hiro asked a question, the answer used the same template.
“So beautiful, I can hear the voice of Aaron’s ancestor speaking to you, The Son of Lucifer.”
And it looked like the AI ??system had stuck there.
“Thank you for accompanying me today, Robin. I think it’s time for us to part here. I still have some business waiting for me,” Hiro explained, making Robin stop walking. Then, the man looked at him with his eyebrows arched.
“I didn’t even get to do anything for you, NightFall. Am I really needed here?” asked Robin, feeling useless. He had already imagined fighting against the Elve guards by the side of the person he idolized so much, but so far, he had been just following Hiro. He didn’t even do anything meaningful.
Hiro chuckled, then patted Robin on the shoulder. “It was a precaution, Bro. Everything went smoothly, and that’s actually good. You don’t have to do anything. There’s no need to waste your energy,” Hiro said, and Robin nodded his head in understanding.
“Ah— if you still want to do something for me, how about you tell Jacob or Noah that I won’t be returning to the guild base tonight until tomorrow morning. Maybe. But, you guys don’t have to look for me,” Hiro explained, giving a task that instantly made Robin feel excited again. Robin instantly saluted at Hiro as a sign that he agreed with the order.
“See you again,” Hiro said, then took out a Portkey Crystal from his inventory. He held the object while thinking about where he would go after this.
…
[Moonlight Tavern]
“Welcome to Moonlight Tavern, NightFall Player!” exclaimed two NPCs that dressed as hot bunny girls. They greeted Hiro, who had just teleported to the front door of the warm atmosphere of the tavern. He was quite surprised when the two women in front of him suddenly shouted loudly and then attacked Hiro with their protruding chests. They were very warm for Moonspire City’s cold temperature, which was abnormal for other bloodlines.
“Ah– you are still here,” Hiro said in reflex. However, he felt stupid after saying it. Yet, he allowed the two NPCs to accompany him into the tavern, which was already crowded with visitors. Paying the two NPCs was nothing to Hiro who continued to collect LSC easily through all means.
For a while, he would forget about Aaron’s Charm that was currently hanging on his chest. He wore the necklace around his neck, and its beautiful shape caught the attention of the two NPC women.
“Please sit here.”
Hiro sat on a wooden chair. Meanwhile, the two NPCs sat across from Hiro, filling the other two empty chairs and propping their chins on the round table in front of Hiro to admire the necklace Hiro was wearing.
The expressions on their faces both looked like they really wanted to get the warmth of a man tonight. Hiro suddenly had a goosebump. Besides, when his eyes dropped slightly, the sight of two pairs of breasts squeezing each other really tested his loyalty this time.
“What are you doing with these two hot women, NightFall?!”
The person who had an appointment with Hiro suddenly appeared and caught Hiro who was out of focus. He reflexively stood up to look at Ace who looked at him with an uncomfortable look in his eyes.
“They… they’re just NPCs,” Hiro stammered, hoping that his image as Liberty’s lover, Ace’s sister, wouldn’t be ruined just because of what he had just done.
Ace quickly chased the two NPCs away and gave them a tip. The tip was quite large because they didn’t have to stay with the two of them. He then sat on the chair opposite Hiro and waited for what Hiro would say to him.
“Don’t waste my time. I’m very busy,” Ace said after ordering a bottle of wine from the waiter.
Hiro took a deep breath. His eyes moved to see the dark staircase at the far end of the room, which was quite far from where he was currently sitting. Then, he just waited without saying anything.
“What are you looking at, Nightfall? Tell me quickly what you know while I don’t. Don’t make me wait too long.”
