Chapter 111: Three branches

[DIVINE JUDGEMENT SPEAR (THRID REALM) LEVEL 4: A PUNSIHMENT TO THE WORLD THAT DOES NOT DIFFERNTIATE BETWEEN ALLIES, ENEMIES AND OWNER.

FIRST ACTIVATION: USE 200 POINTS OF MANA TO DIVINE WEB SPEARS TO DECIMATE 5KM

SECOND ACTIVIATION: USE 50 POINTS TO FORM FOUR DIVINE WEB SPEARS. AND 5 POINTS EVERY 10 SECONDS CAN BE USED CONTINUOUSLY WITH TELEKNISES]

"Gasp..." that was all he could do upon seeing this skill. It had to be known; a whole 5 km was his new range of his divine sense. And this skill could destroy everything within that range.

That was practically his whole sight. And considering what he could see within 5 km, he could only say it was truly was divine and terrifying.

Then he calmed down after his shock. Though he didn’t think he would need it anytime soon, it was better to have something like this just in case.

Now looking at the messages, it remained one more. It was still shocking that among the millions of notifications, only this number of them were actually meaningful. ’Well, I have received quite a bit from this.’ He then began to tap his stomach as if he was satisfied of what he had gotten.

Then, he glanced at the last message and it was,

[YOU HAVE FORMED A CONNECTION WITH ’TRUE MIND WORLD’]

It didn’t say more, and it didn’t need to. Jon already had all the benefits that came with it.

Finally, he was done checking all his rewards from his near-death experience and truthfully he could say it was worth it.

He also didn’t forget the ’Piece’ he had gotten. He pulled it out again and began rolling it around his hand.

"So, what are you going to do now?" Amelia asked. She was really curious about what Jon would do next and with the ’Piece’

"Well, we are at a disadvantage, so shouldn’t we use whatever we have?" He began throwing the ’Piece’ up and catching it continuously.

"You should be careful, as I said before faction leaders go to wars for that." Amelia reminded him.

And Jon then nodded in understanding. For someone like Amelia telling him it was dangerous, it really meant it was that dangerous. Then, he suddenly remembered something, "Hey, can you tell me a little about the factions you know of."

Then Amelia nodded and started, "First of the leaders of the top factions are either in the seventh realm or eighth realm."

"What?" He visibly shook as he heard what she just said. He had already said it previously; he couldn’t even hold a candle to Amelia even after all of his skills level up and power-ups. And she was basically saying there were others stronger than her.

"Yes, and there are 24 top factions in the universe."

"Twenty-four...that’s a bit-"

"Much, right? Yes, you would think as powerful as they are, they would be brave, however, they are just scared?" This was the first time Jon was seeing Amelia displaying anger in her face. She usually showed a calm face or a shocked expression, but with her angry face, strangely, it made her more beautiful.

"Anyways, a lot of them form alliances in order to survive, and if we are counting the strongest among them, it will be the Heavenly sky palace, the Celestial dragons, the Demon faction, the Divine Order faction and...the Whyte clan."

The last faction name made his eyes widen.

Several thoughts and questions formed in his minds immediately. ’So that was it.’ Jon suddenly felt everything click in for him.

His parents, who he had an idea of this evolutions were originally from the Whyte clan. But he couldn’t understand why he would be here, he was meant to be there, right?

"So, you figured something out, I thought so too..." Amelia muttered as she looked at Jon again. She could immediately tell, Jon had an issue with his parents. They were more likely on bad terms with each other. And as if confirming it, Jon didn’t ask more about it.

He just took deep breaths and calmed down, then he looked at Amelia as if telling her to continue. Then she too nodded as if understanding him,

"But their situation is not like you think. The Whyte clan is a large faction, however they are divided."

"W-What do you mean?" Jon asked in slight confusion, however he was feeling something about to click in for him.

Then Amelia said something,

"As you know, the main techniques of the clan is the Moon, Sun and Stars."

BOOOM

As if an explosion had gone off in is mind, it was like he was finally been revealed the truth to. ’So, the first skills are not all random at all.’ But he stopped trying to think, he wanted to fully listen to Amelia talk.

"And there has never been a situation of a Whyte learning all three techniques. The best of them ended up learning only two and even the second is never perfect. So because of that, they separated and made three branches, the moon branch, the sun branch and the star branch and only during times of war do they come together."

’What?’ Jon suddenly became confused. What Amelia was currently saying was that no Whyte had been able to combine the three techniques and that even when they tried to learn others it was never to the point of mastery.

However, what was he seeing now?

Right in front of him now, was a system message.

It was a message showing him his next available class options,

[YOU HAVE REACHED ’LEVEL 50’ FIRST REALM. YOU NEED CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS TO ADVANCE YOU REALM]

[TO CONTINUE YOUR PATH, THESE ARE POSSIBLE CLASSES TO ASSIST IN YOUR JOURNEY:

1. BLACKSMITH’S CHILDE

2. HEAVY DESTROYER

3. SPEARMASTER

4. WILL CONTROLLER

5. SUN MYSTIC]

It was almost the same situation as he was faced with previously. The first option was because of his blacksmith times. The second was probably because of his large, heavy and destructive attacks. The third was as obvious as day. The fourth was because of his use of will and combining it with attacks. However, the last was unknown.

It was also a situation where he could learn other classes alongside their main one. And though it was still a choice, who in their right senses would not choose the better path for a better future.

And quickly, he chose the fifth option. And his evolution requirements came up.

[TO EVOVLE TO THE NEXT REALM. YOUR REQUIREMENTS ARE:

FIND SUN: INCOMPLETE

DEFEAT SECOND REALM WITH MOON: 0/70

DEFEAT THRID REALM: 0/10

EVOLVE MOON TO THRID REALM: INCOMPLETE]

And lo and behold, his first requirement was to find sun.

"Haaa..." Jon let out a deep sigh as he slumped on the bed.

And it was like Amelia could read the situation and her eyes widened immediately, "D-Don’t tell me..."

"Sigh, yes...I have to find sun."

He suddenly felt hopeless. How was he going to do it now, He didn’t also forget the fact there was a limit to the number of skills he could learn.

Amelia was even slightly trembling. It was almost incomprehensible for her.

She hadn’t told Jon yet, but the only reason the Whyte clan was still a thing was because none of them had been able to use all their techniques before. Just one of their techniques made each branch as strong as a faction, imagine them learning all of the techniques.

And here in a far-away world, they didn’t know about, a boy was on his way to doing it.

From the things Amelia had seen from Jon, she knew he was going to do it and in his third realm, he would combine ’Star’.

Suddenly, she started feeling conflicted.

This was something she was obviously meant to report. The two factions were obviously enemies, so she was to report any advantage they might have had. However, she didn’t want to.

In the span of just days, she had been here for, she found herself feeling shocked for most of it. And half of that shock came from Jon, she didn’t really know it yet, but she felt really helpful to someone and was happy about it.

’I have to think about it.’ She needed time to think of what she should do. However, before that, she had to give him something.

"Jon"

Then Jon raised his head. Immediately he saw her, he could see signs of her conflicting feelings. It was obviously impossible to read someone like Amelia at his level, however from everything she had explained. It only took about ten seconds for him to understand a bit of what she felt.

And she stretched out her hand and an orb appeared and sent it to Jon.

"Huh? What’s this?"

"From the ape." Immediately she said it, she disappeared.

"Amelia, Amelia." Jon kept calling out, and even used his ’Gaze’, however, he couldn’t see her.

’I hope things go well.’ He hadn’t known her for a long time, but she was nice and caring too, however he was also now knowing she might as well be an enemy to him. He really didn’t know what to do.

So, he gazed down at the orb in his hand, and suddenly something tugged him.

It was a feeling he had just recently experienced, so he knew what it was.

With a thought, he appeared in his ’Mind world’ and went towards what was tugging him.

And immediately he saw the content, he immediately appeared back outside with a hopeful and smiling face.
