Last Egg: Reincarnated as a Dragon in a Game-Chapter 424 The War In Heavens
The sky ruptured with a deafening, earth-tearing sound as if the very fabric of reality had been torn apart. A colossal black rift appeared, stretching across the horizon, its swirling darkness consuming everything in its path.
Amidst the abyss, a solitary star of radiant light looking like billion glittering crystals and gems emerged, piercing through the blackness before hurtling toward the ground. As the star descended, the rift sealed shut, restoring a deceptive calmness to the surroundings, as if the cataclysmic event had never happened.
A powerful wave of energy washed over Vesuvius, staring into the sky from the vast green pasture coursing through the land. Overwhelmed by what had just occurred, an unsettling feeling gripped his heart, an intuition that something terrible had transpired.
Amid the aftermath, a notification awakened him from the shock, drawing attention away from the sky.

Stunned by the revelation, he couldn't help but question the implications of the message.
'Can truly someone just enter a world and become a god instantly?'
The weight of this truth pressed upon his mind, opening yet another can of worms known as otherworldly invaders.
Suddenly, his consciousness was whisked away, finding himself suspended within the familiar expanse of the white void. The radiant aura of the dragon god blazed high above in the blank white sky.
"Your efforts have motivated me. You desired war, and now war shall be... I have made a mistake... it is time to finally remedy it," the dragon god's voice filled with divine might pressing against his soul resounded with a mixture of determination and regret.
Vesuvius couldn't fathom a dragon god admitting to making mistakes. The admission itself hinted at a deep regret of the dragon god, 'They had to screw up a lot to even admit it...'
It wasn't simply how dragons acted, their arrogance stopping them from lowering themself enough to admit their mistakes.
"My arrogance blinded me in the past," the dragon god lamented. "I believed I could single-handedly confront the ascending gods, but their numbers overwhelmed me. I failed in my duty, unable to safeguard even my own bloodline in the primary realm."
Vesuvius found it incomprehensible, witnessing a dragon god publicly expressing remorse for their errors and acknowledging their weakness. It stirred an unsettling realization within him, 'It makes sense, if the dragon god didn't fail, the other gods wouldn't dare to arm mortals, and without the divine weapons mortals would have no chance against elder and higher tier dragons.'
"However, this time, I have learned from my past mistakes," the dragon god continued,d their words burning with renewed vigor. "I have called upon my siblings; two have answered: Death and Crystal. We shall wage war together across the divine realms, incinerating those gods that dared to stand against me."
Relief washed over Vesuvius as he realized that Crystal, the newfound god, was an ally. Yet, an undercurrent of unease persisted, knowing that the dragon god had siblings, implying the existence of a parent—some entity capable of birthing the dragon god, the god of death, and Crystal, whatever it was. The implications were unfathomable.
'Whatever is it, at least it is more likely to be an ally than an enemy.'
Vesuvius no longer needed to fear the gods directly assaulting him, for he now possessed a cover and the support of powerful backers from above, the trio of gods ready to rekindle the old conflict.
"This war shall be etched into the annals of history, an indelible testament to its magnitude. It shall engulf all realms, pitting demons against angels, and reapers against those who disturb the world's order."
Apprehension gnawed at Vesuvius as the dragon god's words resonated with divine fury. The scope of this war, its implications, and its consequences loomed ominously.
"The gates of hell and heaven shall open, and gods shall clash with one another," the dragon god continued, their voice infused with an unparalleled intensity. "Go forth! Annihilate every trace of the gods in the mortal realm. Burn their temples, shatter their followers, and reduce their divine artifacts to molten remnants."
The dragon's mind was flooded with increasingly terrifying realizations with each passing moment.
'Had the system or the administrator foreseen this cataclysm? Otherwise, why would there be a need for this update when Vesuvius already existed?' The only conclusion he could draw was that he had always been a mere fragment in the intricate puzzle of the impending chaos.
In an instant, all his plans were shattered and crushed into dust, 'This is too soon for this. I wanted to slowly build my power to usurp the authority over space, yet now the dragon god went into a giant tantrum and declared open war against the other gods.'
The next moment the dragon stood back on the green plains of his kingdom, the slight draft sending waves through the green sea of verdant grass.
With a single flap of his giant wings, energy burst out of them, propelling him into the sky while sending shockwaves and clouds of ash across the land and sky.

POV Pyromaniac:
"Burn! Burn!" The horned silhouette of a man stood amid the surging inferno of bright blue flames that spread in every direction, devouring the furniture and even the concrete itself.
"This is the captain magnum of the Earth initiative. Surrender immediately and face your punishment."
'They are nothing but more fuel to my flames.' He witnessed the beauty of the fire, yet now he was attacked in his own home by the new self-proclaimed united government of the earth.
He hated those cowards; he hated how they attacked him out of reach of his master, taking away from him the opportunity to see them burn in the sun-like flames of the dragon.
'They know they are nothing in the face of the master's fire.'
Still, a grin appeared below his burned and partially melted metallic mask covering his face, 'Let them come, my flame is more than powerful enough to deal with those rats. It will not be such a great show, but it will suffice.'
The flames surged in intensity even more, and the glow of his eyes brightened, turning into spots of pure fire as the last shackles separating his avatar from reality shattered.
