Lady Meilin is seduced by her green tea brother-in-law everyday-Chapter 392: The family tree.
Immediately after reading the post, everyone went around asking those who had spoken to the philosopher about what it was that he said to them. It was no different online. Netizens were demanding that the peepstar share more details on the conversations.
Dragging her cat attached foot into the kitchen, Mei Mei got cake for Taiyuan, fighting over the last bit with the Empress mother.
Then, she made her way upstairs, showered and entered her bed. Of course, this was after she confirmed that Mingzhu was fast asleep, drooling on her uncle Mingzhe’s chest in the dining room where he was sipping wine and chatting with some of their uncles.
Before she slept off, she left her bed and checked on Tangning’s window. It was open and Tangning was sitting next to it. She had earphones in her ears and a book in her hands.
It made her scoff as she went to sleep.
She did not even notice that the wolf, tiger and two kittens were fast asleep on one bed in one of the corners of her bedroom, just behind a large collection of pink flowers.

Come morning, when Mei Mei opened her eyes, the house was empty. The space next to her was cold and the pillows undisturbed. It meant there were no pillows on the floor which meant that Jingzhe had not slipped into bed with her at night.
It was seven in the morning and the sun was shining brightly and the air was warm. Mei Mei took one look at the predicted temperature for the day and decided that light clothing was the way to go.
Whining from the door made her widen her eyes and turn them to the invasive sound which was not welcome on the scared ground of her private bedroom. To her shock, she had furry guests: four of them!
"What are you fur litter bugs doing in here?" She asked them.
They were whining near her door. The kittens were clawing at it, anxious to be let out.
"Bandit open the door." She ordered as she climbed out of the bed. She had no plans to scold the pets or find out why they were in her room.
Her guess was that someone had moved a bed into the room for them because the house was a little overcrowded last night. If she had to guess, it was Jun Yi. Nobody would expect the pets to be in her room.
Her thoughts traveled to the plans for the day. The schedule was very tight. In the morning, Mingzhu had to go to the Jun ancestral home and recognize her ancestors. In the afternoon, there was the official opening of her fairyland themed ground in the space camp.
In the evening, there was last minute shopping and packing to do and then they would be off for their vacation. Scratch that...her competition. This was a working vacation for her.
She did all of her brushing and bathing with speed, keeping time like she did during the mornings when Mingzhu had to go to school.
By the time she made it downstairs, everyone was awake and the house was bustling with activity. Grandma Feng was brushing Mingzhu’s hair in the foyer, maids were carrying out platters of fruit, which confused her. Jingzhe was screaming that they were going to be late.
"We are going to be late because you did not have the guts to wake Mei Mei up." Madam Feng shouted back to him. "I gave you one job."
"Bust she looked so peaceful, I did not want to bother her." He answered.
Before madam Feng could go and search for her ladle or another weapon from the kitchen, Mei Mei decided to announce her presence. "I am here, sorry for coming late."
"I woke up before the sun shined on my butt mommy." Mingzhu shouted eagerly.
Mei Mei reached her daughter and pinched her cheek. "Good girl. Did uncle Mingzhe sleep in your bed and hog your plushies again?"
Her brother was in charge of Mingzhu’s martial arts education. Once or twice a week, he slept over. Either he slept in a guest bedroom, living room or Mingzhu’s room. He did the same for Lian and Ming, treating all his nieces and nephew equally.
As brooding and quiet as he was, he was their favorite uncle.
"He drooled on big cow," Mingzhu reported.
Big cow was a cow plushie Chi Zimo had given Mingzhu, a new toy from Phoenix toys. Mingzhu liked the cow because it was a smart cow that "mooed" in response to everything. There were happy moos and sad moos. Occasionally, there was a tantrum moo which made Mei Mei want to rip the head off the cow.
She believed truly that it was one of the things that needed to go on the list of smart toys the prime minister had eliminated.
"We should leave now." Madam Feng stood up.
Mingzhu, in her sparkly white dress, gold star hair clips and sparkly shoes with bunny ears nodded. She had been told that there was a party for her and she could not wait to get to the venue.
Within a minute, they were all out of the house and in their cars. They were followed by two vehicles that had six royal agents who always shadowed Princess Mingzhu.
They arrived at the royal courts in forty three minutes and soon touched down on the grounds of the Jun ancestral home. The mansion had been decorated as if there was a child’s birthday party.
Five large scrolls were hanging from medium sized poles outside the house. They were joined together by clips and each had arrows and pictures. They looked like big food menus.
"Mommy, what are these?" Mingzhu pointed at them. "Look, there is a picture of me and mommy and grandma Jun and grandpa Jun and aunt Jun Yi and...."
"It is a family tree." Mei Mei carried Mingzhu and started explaining the family tree to her. It stretched back five hundred years and most of the old ancestors did not have pictures, just names.
"It says grandma Chi Lian is a princess." Mingzhu pointed out. Even the picture that had been used was one of her in a crown.
Mei Mei nodded. "You are also a princess." She reminded her daughter.
Mingzhu looked at her name and she saw that princess had been added to it. She jumped up and down, clapping her hands excitedly. It was not the first time she was hearing about her princess status but it was the first time seeing it written somewhere.
"Congratulations, princess frog monkey third wheel." Mei Mei teased her. She kissed Mingzhu on the cheek on laughed. "Now let’s go in because the ancestral worshiping ceremony is going to be begin."
