Lady Meilin is seduced by her green tea brother-in-law everyday-Chapter 177: The general vs the princess.
Chapter 177: The general vs the princess.
Mingzhu leaped down from the slide like a trained special forces soldier and she shot out, running like a bullet that had been fired from a gun. Her training with her uncle was paying off already.
She reached Long Shuang in time to stop her from getting anywhere close to the kittens. With clenched tiny fists, she faced the princess. "What are you trying to do to my kitties?"
Long Shuang sneered. "I am an imperial princess, if I want to play with your cats, you should thank me."
Mingzhu smirked.
The people that were familiar with Mingzhu felt the hairs on the backs of their necks stand up. Adults stood to intervene but madam Feng and great grandma Jun stopped them.
"This is kid business, let the kids handle it." Great grandma Jun said, smiling at the empress. Her smile was deliberately provocative.
Mingzhe and some of the men from the family even went ahead to position themselves in the right spots to keep the royal agents from crossing over to the pool side.
Meanwhile, Lian came to Mingzhu’s side, carrying a dripping Go Go Squid. "She kicked Go Go Squid into the pool. Tortoises don’t love water, they can’t swim, they can drown. And she stepped on General Big Yellow’s tail, I saw her."
Again Long Shuang sneered, "My royal feet touched that beast. He was stinking and I thought he needed a bath so I gave him one. You should thank me." She raised the rose wood sword. "My mother said that this sword is mine I am taking it. This princess does not like thieves and you and your mother are thieves."
And that was the final straw.
Mingzhu leaped leaped on Long Shuang with the grace of a sugar-fueled lion club, tackling her into the pool.
"Get her." Lian shouted.
And then, to the horror of the guests, more children that Long Shuang had offended since her arrival jumped into the swimming pool. The two boys that had been called peasants looked around for weapons and they grabbed small cakes, throwing them at Long Shuang who was trying to swim away from a growling Mingzhu. Mingzhu was swimming as if it was the baby olympics and she was determined to win.
Adults were on their feet and the empress was screaming bloody murder. Royal attendants and maids jumped into the water to rescued Long Shuang. Mei Mei leaped out of a second floor window, and she dived into the swimming pool. Her fear was that Mingzhu would drown Long Shuang so she retrieved her daughter first.
Meanwhile, Long Shuang was also retrieved from the water, coughing as she had swallowed at least two mouthfuls of pool water. She was gagging, disgusted because she had swallowed water in which animals and other children had been playing. [Commoners or peasants as her mother called them often when they were alone.]
She pointed at Mingzhu, sputtering as she made threats. "How dare you commoner..."
A half eaten macaron landed on the back of her head. Long Shuang winced and turned around to find the one that dared to throw it. Long Wen hid behind Jun Yi, hoping that nobody had seen that she was the one that had thrown it.
Lian climbed out of the pool and screamed, "Mingzhu, let’s get her again."
"Stop." Mei Mei barked.
Unfortunately, her grip on Mingzhu was not firm enough and her daughter escaped, somehow evading the two royal attendants at Long Shuang’s side. She pulled Long Shuang into a rolling match, putting her in a choke hold as her uncle Mingzhu had taught her.
Empress Hui fainted.
A popper exploded.
Mei Mei and the royal attendants pulled the girls apart, both panting and both glaring at each other like sworn enemies in a centuries-old -feud.
"Mingzhu calm down." Mei Mei patted her daughter’s back, speaking to her sternly.
"She is a bad baby, she ruined my party." Mingzhu said through tears.
Long Shuang held onto the towel that she had been given and hid behind one of her maids. From there, she shouted, "Your party sucked anyway."
Mingzhu jutted her body forward like she was about to attack again and Long Shuang screamed in fear. She turned and run away, crying out loud for her mommy.
"You better run." Mingzhu yelled.
In the aftermath, there was a moment of silence, with the exception of a few chuckles from those that could not hold in their laughter. Jun Yi was one of them.
"General Mingzhu is so making the news again." She snickered.
Mingzhe was on the receiving end of slaps on his back from his grandmother. "You taught my six year old great granddaughter a choke hold! Are you crazy?"
"There is nothing wrong with her learning self defense grandma." He winced as his ear was grabbed.
Meanwhile, the emperor that had changed into new clothes came out of the house with Jingzhe. He was pushing a cart with a four tier purple sweet potato baked cheese cake decorated with the most beautiful edible glass butterflies which were giving off the illusion of flying.
He was surprised to see some signs of disaster, cream and jelly on the ground, a small pool of liquid chocolate, broken porcelain and smashed pastries.
"What happened here?" he gasped.
Mingzhu run from Mei Mei, crying for her daddy. She launched herself into Jingzhe’s arms. "Daddy, the bad baby ruined Mingzhu’s birthday party. You have to get justice for me."
"She wants justice!!" Chi Zimo burst into laughter. After the choke hold, Long Shuang was the one that needed to cry and ask for justice. Mingzhu had probably traumatized the snooty princess. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
Standing still, Mei Mei was digesting the surprise. Old Mingzhu would stand her ground and declare immediately that she had delivered justice. She would not run and cry, seeking help. Having an active father figure in her life had really turned her into a cry baby too.
Someone tugged on her dress and looked down. She saw Lian staring up, with a trace of jelly on her cheek. "Aunt, don’t punish Mingzhu. It was Princess Shuang, she started it."
"What happened?" Mei Mei asked her.
Lian reported all that she had seen.
"In that case, I will ask the emperor to get justice for us." Mei Mei told Lian.
Happy that there would be no punishments, Lian joined the line of children that madam Feng was leading into the house to change into dry clothes and come out for ice cream and cake which would be followed by lunch.
Meanwhile, Mei Mei sent a message to Junjie telling him that they would not be apologizing. Not even if the fight made national news.
As if she predicted it, the mighty little peepstar posted just two seconds after she sent the message.
The mighty little peep star: [Smack down live: Kids edition. General Mingzhu the Brave has done it again. Her tea party turned into the justice party and I now baptize it, The Great Smack down Tea Party.
I shudder to think what the two sworn enemies will do when they meet on the national liberation day celebrations. Stay tuned for another episode of The General versus The Snooty princess.]
