Kung Fu Baby with 17 Doting Brothers-Chapter 422: Who Got Tricked
Tuanzi said coolly, "If you behave and listen, I’ll give you candy."
Zhong Yi refused to listen and continued wailing without shedding a tear.
Tuanzi continued coldly, "I see your teeth, they have cavities. Have you seen the dentist?"
Upon hearing the word "dentist," Zhong Yi stopped wailing and cried profusely.
"No, no, I don’t want to see the dentist, boohoo, I don’t want to see the dentist!"
Tuanzi, with a serious face, said, "If you cry, we’ll take you to the dentist. If you don’t cry, we won’t."
The little boy directly sat on the ground, "I don’t want to! I don’t want to see the dentist! I want candy!"
Usually, whenever he did this, the elders at home listened to him, so enjoying this trick, the boy continued to be stubborn.
Tuanzi simply ignored him.
"This lollipop, you’ve already eaten it, others can’t eat it, so Miaomiao should just throw it away."
"No, boohoo, don’t!"
Zhong Yi crawled over and hugged her leg.
"Bad sister! I don’t want to see the dentist, I want candy!"
Tuanzi turned her head and ’hmphed’.
Calling her sister was useless! Until now, she’s only ever been Fu Youyou’s sister. Youyou was much more obedient and adorable than this little boy!
The twins listened to Tuanzi, and weren’t trying to stop the crying, Lu Feiyong thought his brother was crying too miserably but seeing Tuanzi’s exasperated look, he hesitated and stood still.
With Zhong Yi hugging Tuanzi’s leg, he sought help from the other siblings, but no one helped him.
"Boohoo! You’re all so mean!"
Tuanzi puffed her cheeks, "Who asked you to misbehave and eat sugar early? Now we owe the show crew one yuan, which means we could have had two lollipops!"
[This little chubby boy is crying too pitifully, Gu Miaomiao is quite heartless]
[Right, I think her previous understanding behavior on the show was taught by adults. Now without adults present, her true self is revealed]
[If it were me, I’d be reluctant to let him cry over just one lollipop]
[The chubby boy is the youngest, shouldn’t he be taken care of more?]
[I’m not sure if you guys are criticizing or just plain silly, Zhong Yi broke the rules first, didn’t he?]
[They’re all kids, why should anyone take care of him?]
[I think Miaomiao and the others took good care of him. Zhong Yi’s task is the simplest: just sit there while others are working]
[As a mom, I say if my kid rolls around occasionally, finding it amusing, I would agree with his request. But if he uses it as a tactic and does it often, I won’t indulge him as it spoils the child]
[Same here, although if my baby rolls occasionally, I’d agree because children look cute rolling around. But if she does it constantly, I wouldn’t agree and would correct her habit]
[When kids do this at home, adults indulge them, making them mistakenly believe they can get everything they want by being difficult. But when they leave home and elders aren’t present, experiences might hurt them, so early correction is beneficial]
Zhong Yi sought help from the show’s crew again.
The cameramen either hid behind curtains, inside cabinets or even inside boxes.
Outsiders might not recognize them quickly, but kids saw them hide.
Following Director Zheng’s instructions, no one stepped forward, letting Zhong Yi cry hugging Gu Miaomiao’s leg.
Tuanzi moved her little legs.
"Let go, Miaomiao still needs to sell items."
Zhong Yi cried, his nose red, and hiccuped, "What should I do then, for sister to give my candy back?"
The little boy finally understood these siblings aren’t grandparents who say yes to everything he says. To get candy, he needs another approach, cooperating with the siblings.
Tuanzi groaned, "At least sell items worth one yuan before getting it back."
She didn’t want a saliva-soaked lollipop either!
Zhong Yi grudgingly got up without brushing off the dirt on his clothes, tearing up and blinking his red nose, he walked to the supermarket entrance shouting.
He didn’t know what to do, only remembering his times going with grandma to the market, "Special offer! Buy one, get one free!"
Every time the owner shouted that, many people gathered, and his grandma would join in.
Really, a few villagers stopped and came over to ask, "What special offer? What buy one, get one free?"
The little boy was baffled, picking his fingers, looking back innocently at the siblings.
Tuanzi and the others: "..."
Tuanzi was quick-witted and raised the lollipop.
"Buy items worth one hundred yuan, and we’ll gift you a lollipop!"
A few villagers: "..."
[Hahahahaha]
[For a moment, it’s unclear who to pity, who was tricked by whom]
[People genuinely buying items worth a hundred yuan wouldn’t lack a lollipop!]
Tuanzi glanced at them a few times, hesitantly corrected, "Then buy items worth fifty yuan, and we’ll gift you a lollipop?"
Lu Feiyong remembered what Director said.
He recalled Director saying a batch of expiring products were separately arranged in large boxes.
"Well, aunties and uncles, if you buy ten items," scratching his head, he corrected again, "Buy five items, you can take away one expiring product of the same type."
He found a pack of instant noodles.
"This, buy five packs and get one pack free! But this pack is expiring soon, you can also not take it."
Several villagers weren’t interested in instant noodles and seeing only children in the shop, walked directly to the box and checked, "Are these all free?"
The kids put their hands together, nodding obediently.
Villagers picked what they needed, most were daily necessities. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
Each bought five items and took away one expiring item.
"Who’s taking payment?"
Lu Feiyong quickly raised his hand, "Me!"
Three villagers paid in cash, Lu Feiyong scratched his ears trying to compute and asked his buddies, "Did I calculate right?"
The system had already calculated it for Tuanzi, so she nodded, "Correct."
Lu Feiyong sighed in relief.
One villager paid electronically, raising his phone, "I’ve paid, I’ll take these away now."
He said and followed the others to leave.
Tuanzi kept listening closely, hearing his words, she showed a strange expression.
"But uncle, if you’ve paid, shouldn’t there be a payment notification sound?"
Director emphasized they made the payment notification sound very loud. With her good hearing, she should have heard it?
The villager paused, feeling slightly embarrassed.
Tuanzi suspiciously wondered, "Uncle, did you not pay?"
She walked quickly to a curtain, pulled it aside revealing the cameraman inside.
"We have adults at home, just hiding."
