Kiss With Mr. CEO-Chapter 10 - Don't You Find My Body Attractive Enough?
Chapter 10 - Don't You Find My Body Attractive Enough?
She couldn't see herself at a disadvantage in this contract. If things wouldn't work out well, they could always get a divorce after a year.
But there was something she needed to take care of. "Mr. Li could you exclude the term of the conjugal relationship between the married couple?"
Li Luxian was momentarily surprised to hear that. Then the mischievous smile returned to his lips.
"May I ask why? Could it be you don't find my body attractive enough?"
Chen Yi was speechless.
Of course, he was attractive. He was simply a god for his looks. Did he even need to ask that? But he couldn't expect her to sleep with him right after the marriage. They needed to familiarize themselves with each other first.
That was common-sense everyone with a relationship experience would know! Unless this impossible man had never been in a relationship before. Chen Yi looked at him. Could it be really so?
Just what in seven hells Chen Yi was getting her into! Oh well, it's not like she had a choice.
"It's not about that..." Chen Yi coughed. She didn't know what to say to this man. To moisten her dry throat she picked up a glass of water and chucked it down.
"Not that? Could it be that you are worried that I wouldn't be able to pleasure you well enough?" With a raised eyebrow Li Luxian asked.
Chen Yi spit out everything in her mouth. He did not just say that!
"And if you are still worried then we could always try out something so that you could confirm beforehand that I am good enough." Li Luxian rose up from the chair.
Chen Yi almost fell out of her chair.
This was not happening!
At least take your secretary into consideration who is still standing here!!!
"Mr. Li I'll take my leave then." Secretary Zhang bowed with a stiff face and proceeded to leave her alone with his boss to give his boss some privacy to certify his skills.
"Wait! Mr. Li! Stop a second! We do not need to try things! I never doubted you!." She literally screamed, crawling away on the couch. "I definitely do not doubt your skills!" Now, let me off, please. This man was crazy and dangerous.
Li Luxian laughed lightly.
Chen Yi: "..." Was he just teasing her again?
Finally, with a serious expression, he asked. "Why do you want to take it out?"
Chen Yi took a deep breath. If she was going to marry this guy, she had to tell him. "First I had never been close with a man to an extreme extent before and second..." Chen Yi hesitated.
Never been close with a man before? Li Luxian did find it a little unexpected for a girl who could dare to kiss a random stranger. But nevertheless, he was happy to hear this new piece of information that his wife was untouched and pure. Now he could corrupt her all he wanted.
"My past relations had not been good and they all ended up horribly so I can't readily trust anyone. I need some time. I hope you understand." Her relationship with Fu Jianguo still traumatized her. She didn't even want to think about that. She didn't think she would ever be able to fully trust anyone after that.
Chen Yi's life had been tough.
Her boyfriend cheated on her.
Her parents left her.
Her family betrayed her.
Her cousin Chen Ying, who she loved and adored, now wished for her death.
Under the circumstances, she had closed herself up. She had grown alone with no one she could share herself with. Fu Liling was her only friend but after Fu Jianguo's betrayal, Chen Yi's interaction with Fu Liling was minimized.
"I can understand." Li Luxian's voice was gentle. "And you never needed to worry about that in the first place. I won't ever force you into anything you don't want. We will take things with their natural flow."
Chen Yi smiled and quickly signed off the documents. Under normal circumstances, she would have waited to think it over for a day or two. She was already cornered by adverse circumstances that surrounded her like a volcano ready to erupt at any moment. She had no choice left after losing her job and spending all her savings.
In fact, this Li Luxian was an angel sent by God for her.
"Would your family accept this marriage?"
"You do not need to worry about that. As long as you have my support, no one will dare to bully you"
It was strange how his simple words eased Chen Yi's heart. It, at least, showed that he would not abandon her later once they got married.
But still... Chen Yi couldn't be a hundred percent sure. To know a person well, you must spend more time with them.
"So when and where are we getting married?"
Secretary Zhang took the contract and placed the papers cautiously in a file.
"Right now."
Chen Yi was stupefied. Of course! She should have already expected that. There was no need to be anxious.
"I had already booked for a registration. Let's go and get our names registered."
Chen Yi bit her lips; her heart thumped. Ever since she was young, all she had wished for was a perfect wedding day with Fu Jianguo. After his betrayal, her hopes shattered and she abandoned all her ideas of even getting married. When her family forced that arranged marriage on her, she was even sickened by the word 'marriage'.
So now she couldn't help but feel her heart in a dilemma. But all above that, there was strange hope. A hope Chen Yi couldn't explain the reason for.
Even if it was just a marriage of convenience, she felt like a big step in her life. The chances were low but maybe the marriage would work out.
"You already booked for marriage registration. Looks like Mr. Li was determined to get me married to him today at all costs." Chen Yi laughed.
"What can I say other than nothing can stand the strike of my charm." Li Luxian winked at her while rising and straightening his suit.
Chen Yi couldn't help her lips tilting up. More like 'No one can stand the strike of your tricks.'
As Chen Yi stood up, she slipped over the water she had spit out a moment ago. "I'm alright!" She managed to not fall and make a fool of herself by grabbing the couch. But something worse happened. Her gun slipped out from her waist and fell down heavily on the floor.
Old Crap!
