Chapter 33: The Vision, First Incoming Party

By night, the entirety of this city had changed.

Over the following 12 hours, Vesh coordinated everything to bring his vision to life.

The ten governors were chosen properly by Vesh himself.

To demonstrate all the blueprints and how to use the functions and the building tool, Vesh and Arga used them personally to show others.

Vesh had created a specialized building tool that could control S-rank Nanites to build structures. Due to this extremely flexible building resource, all the blueprints inside the Ananta Governing Tower could be constructed with simple instructions as long as they had the tool. The ultimate tool— a working-type bodysuit that could control Nanites, and access to digital screen that guided constructions according to the blueprint input inside the suit’s slots.

Nanites would be provided according to the project level of the Ananta Governing Tower, as Vesh decided to keep only one factory running to produce Nanites inside his persona floating island up in the sky. Just like Ascension Storm of Heaven and Earth, there would only be one production facility for S-rank Nanites, and he planned to automate it and power it with artificial intelligence.

Aside from these two limited factors that Vesh decided to employ to run his kingdom, everything else was available.

And that meant everything.

The definition of lifestyle changed in this city overnight.

The city was completely different from what it had been in the morning.

Wide and smooth roads existed not only on the ground, but in the air as well.

Up to 200-meter-tall exotic skyscrapers acted as high-quality living quarters for people. Each unit inside contained a miniature pond, a garden, and enough space for twenty family members, as well as Nanite Control Board of the house to design its interior as they see fit.

But for now, most of the quarters were empty, as those skyscrapers were up for grabs for people who ranked in the top 100 of the weekly contribution rankings.

Aside from those skyscrapers, there were four spectacular wide-area buildings acting as Ananta Kingdom’s signature structures that would be available in all cities under their governance:

1. Ananta Combat Center—where people could train and get strong. It was a massive dome occupying the second-largest space in the city, taking up to 1.8-kilometer radius area, completely covered by a translucent barrier filled with fog that could be cleared with a simple command to make everything inside visible. Inside were artificially constructed natural environments such as cliffs, valleys, a flowing river, ponds, and forests, all in smaller scales than they were in nature, but every bit real. The center was divided by barrier sections from D-rank to A-rank representing the refined magic energy inside, suitable for people from Seed-rank to Stem-rank to train.

However, entry required Ananta Points, a fully digital currency of the Ananta Kingdom. Vesh’s idea was to create a currency that only citizens and recognized individuals of the Ananta Kingdom could use to access its facilities.

Gold coins, magic crystals, and all other currencies were rendered useless.

Every citizen in the city had already been given a wristband that merged with their hand. With a thought, it could display a hologram showing their ID, containing their information and status within the Ananta Kingdom. To make payments, they simply needed to scan their wrist.

2. Entertainment Idea Kitchen—this building functioned exactly as its name suggested. A place to "cook" ideas. All citizens were welcome to propose ideas related to improving entertainment.

Vesh believed that entertainment was the most important factor in governing a large population.

And he was going all in to create meaningful and engaging entertainment. Everyone was welcome to pitch their ideas.

Ideas would go through three phases if deemed viable. In the first phase, the concept would be evaluated by a group to determine whether it could proceed to the second phase, which involved practical implementation and testing. If successful, it would advance to the third phase and enter the market.

Since Vesh had reformed the entire city and utilized its space efficiently while expanding its borders, there was ample space to construct new structures using Nanites and test ideas.

The most important form of entertainment, however, had already been decided.

Combat.

3. Playground of Glory—a specialized arena built to host combat competitions. It was the largest structure in the city.

Audiences could purchase tickets to watch from elevated platforms in the sky, overlooking the matches, or view them on large screens.

The rest of the city could also watch through small towers designed for holographic projections.

The concept of nobility was completely erased. Everything was merit-based.

4. Ananta Justice Court—a system where everyone could submit complaints, and justice would be served with utter impartiality. Vesh had ensured that every corner of the city was recorded in video format for the presiding AI to verify facts.

Crime, bullying, fraud, and similar acts were absolutely not tolerated.

In fact, Vesh openly welcomed people to test the system as he announced during the construction of this final building that he would manifest literal hell if they dared to cross the lines established by the Ananta Kingdom.

At this point, Vesh and Viana were busy selecting and evaluating people, while Arga, Rovina, and Kayan were under the influence of King’s Rule, focusing on increasing their combat power.

Viana’s turn would come later, as she was needed for management.

After four hours, late into the night, Vesh was finally done.

The entire city remained awake, as people adapted and eagerly embraced the changes. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

The problem of food and water was solved instantly by Vesh. Using his Wheel of Elements, he accelerated the growth of vegetables and fruits on a vast patch of land beside the city, creating a temporary forest of resources where people could freely gather what they needed.

The rapid growth cycles required immense energy, consuming 7000 C-rank refined magic energy per hour. Vesh had acquired 1,000,000 C-rank refined magic energy by temporarily creating an Ascension Storm of Heaven and Earth above, allowing the forest to begin operating quickly.

However, that reserve would only last about a week.

So Vesh planned to construct an underground array to gather energy by creating a variation of the Ascension Storm of Heaven and Earth below the surface, keeping it hidden rather than exposed in the sky. He wanted to keep this phenomenon a secret for now.

In the end, food was the final problem the people faced.

And Vesh had solved it.

Every single person in the capital city, as well as the nearby industrial city, ate to their fill.

In the Adventurer’s Guild branch, Guild Master Risha placed down a glowing crystal card that soon dimmed. It was a communication card, allowing long-distance communication with other cards, similar to a phone with designated numbers.

"It looks like one faction is making a move already."

Standing up, she looked out the window toward the Ananta Governing Tower.

"Crosshawk City, huh..." she muttered, observing the completely transformed city.

The only building that remained unchanged was the Adventurer’s Guild branch, which now stood out like a sore thumb.

"It seems our second meeting is approaching, Shadow Lord Eka." Guild Master Risha’s eyes glinted. "Aurora Kingdom is arriving with their colossus-sized military ship, along with their king and half of their strongest forces."

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

’The clash is inevitable. Aurora Kingdom possessed the highest level of magitech before the emergence of the Ananta Kingdom. But I have yet to witness the military capabilities of that giant cat... or the full strength of this kingdom.’

She wondered how the clash would unfold.

But as the Guild Master of the Adventurer’s Guild branch here, when two sovereign powers were about to meet and potentially clash for the first time, it was her duty to attempt mediation—by bringing their leaders face to face.
