As Alchemy waited for her titles tab to show up, she pulled up the backlog of notifications.

And that was only one of the rewards she got from the Leaderboard. Its description of the title was a little ominous, but Alchemy couldn’t possibly care less right now.

Alchemy rubbed her eyes as if that’d change what she saw. Before looking at it again, she turned to the backlogged message.

Most of it was useless information that she could discard quickly, but a few stood out.

A new type of skill as well? Alchemy struggled to process everything in front of her. It felt like her face was turning red and smoke was coming out of her ears.

With weak arms, she tapped on her newly acquired skill.

Unsurprisingly, the skill she got was amazing, even without looking at the synergy. At first, it seemed a little lackluster, but Alchemy couldn’t help but leave her mouth agape as she read about it.

She did recall that her Handler mentioned giving her something to help with the Mental Destruction. Out of the dozens of things she did expect, a new type of skill was not one of them.

"If only I didn’t send Nera away... I’d have someone to freak out with. She’s not my cheat character anymore!" Alchemy raised her arms.

She didn’t know what else to say.

A subpar, gimmicky skill that could only be used in niche cases just lost its entire weakness and possibly became one of the greatest skills to exist.

She didn’t pay much attention to it, but this was also the first time Alchemy had seen a Synergy change the main skill text.

Individually, both of the rewards that she looked at were worth sacrificing her everything for, and it only took her less than 100 of the most expendable units.

This didn’t make her happy that she lost so many of her children, but it definitely made up for it.
