Chapter 62 -62: One Palm

Muria and the young Titan faced each other in the sky, the furious winds from their continuous clash of colossal forces swept through the White Jade Divine Palace, shattering ornamental flowers and shrubs within the palace grounds.

“Clang!” The Young Titan’s fingers formed a blade, slashing down like a war knife accompanied by thunder and wind. It collided with Muria’s arm, resulting in a metallic impact sound.

“Still not feeling much.” Muria muttered to himself, feeling the sensation on his arm. Ever since revealing his Dragon Armor derived from the Golden Dragon lineage, his defensive power had been elevated to a degree beyond his understanding.

The attacks of the young Titan were mostly blocked by his Dragon Armor, reducing much of its intensity. What remained, Muria could handle with relative ease.

“You’re going to lose!” Muria’s golden pupils stared through his faceguard at the young Titan. As his dragon wings flapped behind him, he rushed towards the young Titan. He shifted his tactics from defense to relentless assault.

“Boom!” Muria landed a punch directly on the young Titan’s face, withstanding a counter elbow strike from his opponent. He kicked him squarely in the chest, sending him falling from the sky and smashing a smaller building within the Divine Jade Palace.

“Ahhh!” The young Titan roared in anger, rising from the ruin of the palace and returned to the sky to continue battling with Muria. In his eyes, Muria’s martial skills were lacking, but his Golden Dragon lineage allowed him to fight. Yet to his disbelief, Muria appeared to be gaining the upper hand.

“Boom!” “Boom!” “Boom!” … They fought from the sky to the ground, and again from the ground to the sky. Buildings collapsed one after another within the White Jade Divine Palace. A corner of the expansive palace was completely destroyed.

The combat had grown more intense. Muria had lost count of how many times his Dragon Armor had been shattered by the young Titan. Every part of his body seemed to have been broken, but had also fully healed – a seemingly unfair combination of formidable defense and recovery power.

The young Titan, too, lost count of how many times his bones had been broken by Muria. Fighting against Muria clad in Dragon Armor was a huge disadvantage for him. The effort he expended to recover his wounds and sustain his combat power was much greater than Muria’s.

… After who knew how long, amidst the ruins of a palace, Muria stood while the young Titan lay on the ground.>

“I won!” declared Muria. His broken Dragon Armor was slowly repairing itself, but was no longer as quick as before.

“If it weren’t for that suit of armor…” The young Titan, with his chest heaving for breath, said with a sense of resentment. He struggled with accepting defeat by someone like Muria, being hedonistic due to his inferior defensive capabilities.

“A loss is a loss, there’s nothing more to it. This is armor derived from Muria, not something external.” A cold, clear female voice rang out, causing Muria to turn around.

“He’s already lost. Do you want to fight me?” Muria asked the Titan girl with a touch of rebellion, even though he knew fighting against her would be a guaranteed loss.

“Fight you? Heh.” On hearing Muria’s words, a smirk appeared on the corner of Titan girl’s lips. Her slender figure disappeared instantly from Muria’s sight.

The moment he lost sight of the Titan girl, Muria sensed something was off. But before he could react, a feminine hand appeared before his eyes. It was so close he could make out the minute details of her palm lines.

“Boom!” The Titan girl suddenly appeared in front of Muria so swiftly it was as if she teleported there. Before he had the chance to react, her hand pushed against his faceguard, slamming him into the shattered white jade wall behind him.

Pieces of golden Bone Dragon Armor flew about. Muria was aghast seeing the Titan girl standing in front of him. He was defenseless as she slammed him into the wall. Even more shockingly, the solid Dragon Armor covering his head shattered entirely under the girl’s blow.

Yet, there were no injuries on his face, he didn’t even feel pain. Such violent strength was directed only at his Dragon Armor and did not leak out at all, a terrifying display of power control.

“Still thinking of fighting me with this suit of armor? You’re far off the mark.” The Titan girl looked emotionlessly at Muria, “Come with me to the Clan Land for cultivation. Your mastery of power leaves much to be desired. The power of the Titans should not be utilised in this way.”

“I don’t have the strength to move anymore. How about you carry me there?” Muria replied with a forced smile. He was nearly depleted of energy too but was still capable of basic movement. He simply wanted to put up a last show of resistance, even if he was dominated, he wanted to have the last laugh.

In the young Titan’s watchful gaze, Muria’s prideful heart, which was like a balloon filled with air, was shattered by the Titan girl’s blow. He now desired to visit the Titan Clan Lands to find out how to become as powerful as the Titan girl. For this, Muria was willing to cultivate and give up his hedonistic ways.

In the midst of the young Titan’s amused gaze, the Titan girl forcefully dragged Muria out of the wall and hoisted him onto her shoulder, causing Muria’s face color to turn pale.>

“Put me down, I can walk on my own.” Muria struggled, trying to jump off her shoulder.

“Heh, no need, I’ll carry you.” The Titan girl smirked. She supported Muria’s arm and gave it a shake, causing a sound like the crackling of firecrackers as all his bones rattled together. The struggling Muria instantly became limp like a cooked noodle.

“I don’t even care about face anymore!” Muria wailed internally in defeat, but he was completely helpless. After the Titan girl’s shake, his entire body became like a structure that had collapsed, and he no longer had any energy left; except for the ability to speak.

“My face… is completely lost.” Muria knew that his fight with the young Titan had attracted the attention of all the giants in and around the Jade Divine Palace. Being carried out in such a manner, he dared not imagine the spectacle.

“She’s really carrying him!” The young Titan on the ground was stupefied but then quickly reacted, “Heloise! I also can’t move. Can you carry me too, on your back or over your shoulder, I don’t mind either way .”

“Get lost!” came a curt and emotionless reply to the young Titan.

The young Titan chuckled wryly, not taking it to heart. Staggering to his feet, he watched as Heloise, the Titan girl was carrying Muria over her shoulder, a look of envy on his face:

“What a lucky guy, being so close to Heloise. I thought I was the lucky one to go on a mission with Heloise this time. Who would have thought, ah…”

“Your Majesty! How did this happen?”

“Your Majesty, you lost?”

“Muria!”

…When Titan Helios appeared from the ruins carrying Muria, the many giants surrounding the ruins immediately broke into a loud clamor, and a Red Dragon sprinted over.

“Move aside.” Helios looked down at the Red Dragon blocking her path, surprised but still expressionless.

“What do you want with Muria?” Red Dragon Renata questioned the forty-meter tall Titan girl.

“I’ve said it before. I’m taking him for training.”

“Muria can train right here too, what gives you the right to take him away?”

“With not a single worthy opponent here, only wastes that can be knocked out with a punch, how is he to train? How is he to become stronger?” Helios retorted. “Moreover, taking him to the clan land for training is an order from his father, Lord Ansalor.”

“An order from Muria’s father.” The young dragoness Renata fell silent. With that said, she had no reason to obstruct. “Then how long until Muria can return from training at the clan land?”

“Don’t know.” Helios glanced at Muria, who was pretending to be unconscious on her shoulder, “That would depend on his own effort. Whenever he gained approval from Lord Ansalor, that’s when he can return!”

“Hurry up and leave!” On Helios’ shoulder, Muria was screaming crazily in his heart. His eyes were tightly closed, appearing to be unconscious as many giants around them looked at him with concern.

But in reality, Muria was simply trying to avoid seeing so it wouldn’t bother him. He didn’t want his subordinates to see him looking so miserable, but he had no choice. Who asked him to act cocky in front of Helios even when he knew he couldn’t beat her? This was one of the consequences of his actions.

“I see!” Renata let the path clear after hearing Helios’ words, looking a bit dejected. Then she raised her head, “Can you tell Muria for me that I’ll be waiting obediently for him here.”

“Hmm!” Helios gave a low acknowledgment. She didn’t expose the fact that Muria was feigning unconsciousness, leaving a bit of dignity for him.

After a few steps with Muria on her shoulder and under the watchful eyes of many giants in the White Jade Divine Palace…

“Wait for me!” From a corner of the White Jade Divine Palace, which was in ruins from the battle, the young Titan who had been fighting Muria for a long time walked out with unsteady steps, calling out to Helios weakly.

“Your Majesty, did you lose?”

“Probably! His Majesty seems to have lost consciousness, while this honorable Titan still stands.”

“Sure enough, His Majesty who only has half the Titan bloodline, being a hybrid, is no match for a true Titan.”

“I thought His Majesty wouldn’t lose, considering his strength! He never went all out when he fought us.”

“But the fact explained everything. His Majesty is not as good as a true Titan.”

…The moment they saw the young Titan, the giants gathered around the ruins of the Divine Palace began whispering. They only saw the battle between Muria and the young Titan in the sky, but not the final result.

“Uh!” The young Titan who was a bit unsteady on his feet could not help but blush when he heard the giants’ whispers and saw the admiring eyes from many giants.

“Cough!” The young Titan cleared his throat loudly, attracting the attention of most of the giants. Then he said loudly, “Although I don’t want to admit it, but I lost the fight with Muria. I am the loser, and Muria is the winner.”

“Then why are you awake now, while His Majesty Muria is unconscious?” A giant expressed his confusion.

“She was the one who defeated Muria.” The young Titan pointed at Helios, who was walking away.

“So it was like that. With such a body size, His Majesty Muria didn’t lose without reason.”

“That means His Majesty Muria is not weaker than a Titan of his age.”

“Of course, that honorable person only defeated His Majesty because of her age advantage. When His Majesty grows as tall as she is, he won’t lose.”

…Hearing the young Titan’s words, the giants who were watching couldn’t help but start excitedly discussing.
