King of Titans and Dragons-Chapter 24 - Dragon Battle
Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Dragon Battle
Chapter 24 -24: Dragon Battle
“Six dragons at once?” Muria looked down at Auston, the young dragon, with a playful smile on her face. “Aren’t Red Dragons the proudest among the Five Colored Dragons? Not only did you not challenge me one by one, but you even band together to challenge me.”
Auston was choked by Muria’s words and did not know how to respond. At this moment, Cynthia stepped forward from behind Auston, taking her stand.
“Muria, you possess the blood of the Golden Dragon lineage, which is stronger than our Red Dragon’s, and you also have the almost divine Titan Bloodline. You, of the same age, could defeat any of us in a duel. Besides, you were born eight years before us, so it’s not too much for all of us to challenge you together,” she said.
“Indeed, it’s not too much,” Muria nodded and looked at the young female dragon Cynthia with a look of surprise in her eyes. Such words coming from a Red Dragon were definitely a surprise for him.
“I accept your challenge,” and so Muria declared.
As soon as the words fell, Auston couldn’t wait to launch an attack on Muria—a cone-shaped breath carrying a scorching Qi shot towards Muria.
“Shut your mouth,” Muria thrust out her palm, disrupting the scorching dragon breath, and grabbed Auston’s mouth, clamping his upper and lower jaws together. Her arms were unharmed, immune to the Red Dragon’s breath due to inheriting the fire-system Golden Dragon blood.
“Let’s go outside to fight, it’s too small in here to move around,” Muria explained to the other five young dragons.
Muria’s room was actually quite spacious, after all, the Golden Dragon Mother, who was in her True Dragon Form, had stayed here. But for the flying Giant Dragons, it was rather constricted for battling.
“Outside?” The few young dragons looked at one another, then nodded and immediately agreed to Muria’s request to fight outside. They had been alive for five years but had yet to experience the world outside.
But, Muria forgot something; dragons are creatures of immense greed, and Red Dragons, in particular, have the strongest lust for treasure among all dragon kinds. Barely leaving Muria’s room, the young dragons stopped dead in their tracks, bedazzled by the collection displayed by the Golden Dragon Mother in the corridor.
“Don’t even think about it. These are the treasures of my mother, the legendary Golden Dragon Atris. They belong to her. Unless you defeat her, you can only look. Although, that is essentially impossible,” Muria said.
Muria looked at the six young dragons, which were now dazed by the glittering, gorgeous treasures, with their mouths wide open, drooling uncontrollably.
The young dragons completely ignored Muria’s words. Eventually, aside from the little female dragon Renata, whom Muria had grabbed by the tail, the remaining five young dragons rushed forward, each guarding a piece of the collection, greedily admiring it, as drool continued to drip down.
Then, a complex and mysterious Magic Array appeared over the five pieces gripped by the young dragons, repelling their saliva, and firmly securing the collection pieces onto the crystal display stands.
The five dragons that attempted to take the collection from the crystal stands all struggled in vain; the pieces stood rooted firmly, immovable.
“It’s no use. Unless you can break the Legendary Array that guards this castle, you cannot move Master Atris’ collection an inch,” Sophia, the head female servant, said with a blank expression as she watched the pathetic state of the few young dragons. But it was to no avail; dumbstruck by the treasures, the young dragons had lost their wits.
“This armor mixed with a large amount of Fine Gold and Mithril is worth at least 1.2 million gold coins.”
“A magic staff created entirely from Void Star Gold, valued at a minimum of 800,000 gold coins.”
“A battle axe forged from a blend of God-breaking Iron and Skyfall Steel, which are both Legendary Metals. This is a priceless treasure.”
…
Muria looked on speechlessly as the few Red Dragons used the knowledge inherited by their Dragon Race to appraise the items they held, assessing the value of each treasure. Muria had this ability too, innate to every dragon, but she hardly used it.
Sophia, the head maid, waved her hand to signal some food to be brought to the young dragons. The Dragon Maids who hadn’t left swooped in, working in groups of six—four grabbing each claw, one taking hold of the head, and another the tail.
The Dragon Maids, looking slender and youthful, forcefully pried the young dragons away from the treasures. Amidst the young dragons’ tragic wails, they hoisted them up.
To the vile dragons, who regarded treasures as equal to life, the Dragon Maids’ actions were the greatest offense. They struggled fiercely, to no avail.
Carrying the five young dragons, the Dragon Maids followed behind Muria, who was holding little female dragon Renata, and left the castle. Reaching the main gate, the Dragon Maids, in groups, threw the young dragons out one after another.
“Bang!” The castle’s main gate closed tight behind Muria, jolting the wailing vile dragons back to their senses. They had recovered from the inconsolable loss of the treasures.
Then they were lost again, awestruck by the majestic, grandiose castle before them—this mighty Crystal Castle built entirely of Magic Crystals.
“In the world, there actually exists such architecture, built entirely from magic crystals.”
“How much would that be worth in gold coins!”
“I can’t even estimate the price!”
…
“Enough!” Muria could no longer bear the greedy posture of these evil dragons, “This castle, including the treasures inside, belongs to my mother, the legendary Golden Dragon Atris, and has absolutely nothing to do with any of you, not even a copper.”
Not even a copper… Muria’s words, like a knife, cut deeply into the hearts of the six young dragons, leaving them chillingly cold.
“We were born and grew up here,” the young dragon Jessica said feebly in her defense.
“Yes, as pets of mine,” Muria revealed her snow-white teeth.
“The castle belongs to your mother, doesn’t it!” Auston looked up at Muria, as if seeing a gold mine, his eyes shining brightly. “Cynthia, Andre, let’s defeat Muria together, then kidnap him and demand a ransom from his mother.”
The evil dragon called out to its siblings, but Cynthia rolled her eyes, completely ignoring her brother’s bizarre idea. In her opinion, nothing could be more foolish than that: kidnapping the offspring of a legendary Golden Dragon on her territory.

But what astonished the little dragon girl was that, except for Renata, the other three young dragons actually nodded excitedly in agreement. This made her look at her siblings as if they were brain-dead, while also feeling a sense of intellectual superiority.
“Kidnap me? Extort a ransom?” Muria looked at the few young dragons at his feet amusedly, but considering their age, he could understand, “The premise is you’ll have to defeat me. If you lose, then continue to be my pets obediently!”
“We must defeat Muria!” The four young dragons looked at each other and pumped themselves up, high in fighting spirit, whereas Cynthia and Renata thought about other things, their minds not focused on the upcoming battle.
On the grand martial arts field, Muria looked at the six opposing young dragons, spread his arms, and announced to the young dragons and the surrounding giants, “This battle has no limits to the field. The sky, the land, even the sea can serve as battlefields, until one of us completely falls and admits defeat.”
And then, Muria turned to the surrounding giants, “Any creature, before I and they have decided on a victor, shall not interfere with my battle.”
“Not bad, Little Muria, quite aware of your own strength!” Inside Crystal Castle, the Golden Dragon Mother, transformed into an exceedingly beautiful young girl, sat on a throne forged from various legendary metals. Watching the scene displayed on the crystal wall before her, she lay back on her spacious throne, one hand propped under her smooth chin, muttering to herself, “Looks like my early research into a group giant immobilization spell won’t be needed. Tsk, truly worthy of being my offspring!”
In the midst of the martial arts field, the moment a purple-haired Storm Giant clad in armor announced the start of the battle, the young dragon Auston took the lead, charging to the forefront, followed closely by Andre, Jessica, and Albert, with the little dragon girl Cynthia and Renata bringing up the rear.
The six young dragons charged towards Muria, each spewing out the Giant Dragon’s signature Dragon Breath attack.
To other creatures, this would have caused massive damage, but to Muria, the Red Dragon breaths were completely ineffective. He felt as if he were doused with warm water, not painful at all, in fact, a bit soothing.
As the strongest among the Five Colored Dragons, the Red Dragons perhaps looked foolish due to their young age, but their combat awareness was still very outstanding.
Upon seeing the ineffectiveness of the Dragon Breath, they immediately ceased their attacks. It was Auston who led the way, prepared to engage Muria in close combat.
“Roar!” Auston roared, opening his mouth filled with sharp dragon teeth, aiming to bite Muria, with the other young dragons following suit, opening their mouths to bite at Muria.
“Hmph!” Unflustered by the six gaping maws coming at him, Muria was well-versed in Titan martial arts, which were quite comprehensive, including experience and techniques for dealing with all kinds of creatures. That covered the formidable indescribable monsters, deep-sea giant beasts, dragons, and even deities.
“Whoosh!” With a swift motion, Muria reached out his hand, grabbed Auston, who was looking at him in astonishment, by the neck, and, with shrewd footing to dodge the biting attacks of the other five dragons, lifted the frantically struggling Auston – who was clawing at his skin, leaving red marks – high into the air, then ferociously slammed him onto the granite ground below.
“Boom!” A collision sound that made all the spectators’ teeth ache echoed, and a dragon-shaped crater appeared in the granite. Auston was embedded within it.
With a grim smile, Muria glanced at the remaining five young dragons. Then his golden dragon wings unfurled behind him, with a powerful flap he took to the sky; he would engage in aerial combat.
