King of the Wilderness-Chapter 131 - 120: Accidental Killing! (Skip This - If You’re Only Here for the Wilderness)
Lin Yu’an looked at her coldly, listening to her mention Stan and George, and the killing intent in his heart gradually receded.
He thought of their selfless help and their many praises for the veterinarian Emily’s assistance to them.
Moreover, it was originally for Stan and George’s sake that he came to check on Emily’s situation, which led to him being involved in this meddlesome event.
In a way, Emily was indeed innocent. If he killed her now, he didn’t know how he would face Stan and George in the future.
He just wanted a way to tie the two of them firmly on the same boat, once and for all.
He dragged the corpse onto the plastic sheet, propping it up, forcibly making it pose in a kneeling position with hands behind its back.
Then, he untied the belt binding Emily’s hands and feet.
He picked up Emily’s Ruger LCP pistol, which was already out of bullets, and Lin Yu’an added one.
He then handed the gun in front of Emily.
"Do you want to live?" His voice was devoid of emotion.
Emily trembled and nodded.
"Then hold it."
Lin Yu’an stuffed the Ruger pistol into her hands and then took out his phone, turning on the recording function while aiming a Glock in his other hand at Emily.
"Shoot him in the back of the head."
Emily looked at the cold gun in her hand and then at the corpse so close by, engulfed in immense fear and conflict.
She felt like this man was a demon! A demon leading her step by step towards the abyss!
"You have no choice, and I’m starting to lose my patience." Lin Yu’an’s voice was filled with threat.
He then released the safety on the gun, further threatening Emily.
Ultimately, the instinct to survive overcame everything, and Emily raised the gun, aiming at the biker’s head.
"Bang!"
A gunshot rang out, sounding extraordinarily sharp in the silent cabin, but wrapped in plastic, the blood didn’t splatter on the floor.
Lin Yu’an put away his phone, satisfied as he looked at everything in front of him.
Now, Emily’s hands were stained with blood too; she became an accomplice.
With the threat of this video, this woman could no longer make any waves.
She collapsed onto the ground, weak, the gun in her hand slipping onto the carpet, as if all her strength and soul were drained.
Lin Yu’an appeared exceptionally calm; he knew it wasn’t the time for sentimentality, dealing with the scene was the top priority.
He walked to the fireplace, found a heavy iron hammer on the tool rack, and then went to the location Emily mentioned.
He tapped the stone slab on the ground with his foot and indeed heard a hollow echo different from other places below.
Without any hesitation, he swung the hammer, smashing it down onto the slab!
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
After several hits, the hard stone slab shattered into pieces.
He cleared away the rubble, revealing a layer of cement below. He used the hammer to break the cement layer, and a metal box tightly sealed with oilcloth lay quietly there.
Lin Yu’an picked up the box, weighing it, feeling its substantial weight.
He didn’t open it immediately but tossed it aside, then he began to deal with the biker.

This Chapter isn’t handled well either, looking back now, it seems like a poisoned point, Emily should have been introduced differently.
I was too impatient at the time, wanting to quickly find her a companion when Aliya came to Alaska, before the protagonist participated in "Frozen Throne."
Another lesson learned, writing a book can’t be rushed, can’t overlook details to push the pace.
Apologies to readers who saw this Chapter.
