Placing the try on the bed, PetaI, Finally looked at him.

"Thank you." She heard him say and she nodded her head.

Ethan was about to taste the food that she made for him when he saw that she was still standing up and didn’t take a seat, Reaching for a hand, He forced her to sit on the bed, Beside him, Petal who was surprised by the sudden force that pulled her down, Stared at him.

Was he sick? She doubts that he is.

"No need to stay standing." Ethan said as he picked up the soup bowl and the spoon and started to taste the soup.

The soup tasted so good, He didn’t know that, She was good at cooking, No

Petal sat there awkwardly not knowing what she did while he was eating, Staring up at him, She noticed how he elegantly ate the soup. Sometimes it’s harder to believe that he is a mafia man, She thought to herself as she looked away from him.

"It’s very good, Thank you." Ethan said, staring at her.

Now that she had removed the face mask, He could see her whole face, She turned to look at him with her hazel eyes.

Ethan stared into her hazel eyes that stared at him with shyness in them. There was something about her eyes that he couldn’t understand. Every time he looked into them, He felt warmth spreading all over his body.

"Have you eaten?" He asked her to try to make her look at him more so she wouldn’t look away.

He wanted to look at her face for the longest time he could have, Nodding her head Petal noticed that he was staring at her without blinking his eyes.

What was that? She thought to herself,

"I ate In the kitchen." She replied, signaling.

PetaI wondered if Ethan can understand everything she says to him with the ACL language, So she asked him.

"Do you understand what I’m saying?" She asked him and saw him smile.

"I do, It’s a beautiful language." Ethan replied, signaling, Using the same language that she uses.

Blinking her eyes, PetaI was shocked. He did learn her language. He is a fast learner.

"It’s not that difficult." Ethan added seeing the surprise look on her face.

"Why did you learn it?" She was curious to know why he learned it.

"Because I want to understand you, To know you more." He replied and was interrupted by a cough.

Petal handed him the fruit juice to drink from it, He was still sick, and here she wasn’t letting him rest.

"You should get some rest, I prepared the dinner for you, The maid will reheat it and bring it to you." Petal said as she stood up, She needed to leave right now.

This was becoming too much for her to handle, What he just said, Touched something in her heart, In a good way but she didn’t want to admit even to herself,

D"Alright, Thank you for everything." Ethan said realizing that he had pushed her away with his words.

Without saying anything else, PetaI left the room heading downstairs and left the house to go to the mansion, Glancing at the watch in her, She noticed that it was four in the late afternoons, She spend half of her day here

Going to the mansion, She went straight to her room, taking a quick shower. She reviewed some of her studies and listened to the music, Trying not to think about what he said.

Because I want to understand you, To know you more.

What did he mean by that and why does wants to understand me? PetaI questioned herself.

The more she thought about the more she realized that Ethan has feelings towards her, But it was obvious that he didn’t found out about her feelings and she wanted to stay that way, Ethan is no an ordinary man, If he were to find out about her feelings, He will likely use these feelings to manipulate her.

She may be inexperienced but that doesn’t mean that she will let her heart be weak. Yes, Shy may have fallen in love with him, But she won’t allow herself to be weak. It’s not going to be easy, That she knew. But with time she will train herself to be unaffected by his preanses in her life.

By the time PetaI was done with reviewing her studies, It was almost nine in the evening, Placing her pen down, She closed her books and her desk lamp and walked towards her bed, She removed the blankets and got under them, Deciding to enTd the night early.

Closing her eyes, She hoped that tomorrow would be a good day.

"Good evening ma’am." The maid Welcomed Lana.

"Good evening, How’s Ethan?" Lana asked handing her coat to the maid,

"He’s doing much ma’am, The young miss took good care of him, She even cooked lunch and dinner." The maid replied as she hung the coat on the hanger.

Hearing this, Lana frowned, "cooked? Why would she cook when there is a chef?" She questioned the maid.

"The chef had taken a day off, But the food she cooked was so delicious, Mr. Ethan ate it all." The maid replied.

Lana dismissed the maid and climbed upstairs with an amazing smile on her face. Ethan never liked to eat when he’s sick, So how come he ate this time?.

Opening the door to his room, Lana stepped inside the room and was welcomed by the darkness of the room. This was another shocking surprise for the night.

Ethan was sleeping early!

Stepping out of the room, Lana closed the door behind her, She let him sleep.

The next morning.

"The factory meeting is at nine, there will be new investors, Do you want me to delay it to another day." Issac asked his brother who seemed to be better today.

"No, I will attend it." Ethan said as he wore his sunglasses and entered his car.

He was about to turn the engine on when he saw Petal coming out of the mansion, Lowering his sunglasses, He stared at her.

"Phwwwwwhht." Issac let out a loud whistle seeing the beautiful and sexy outfit that Petal was wearing.

"What a sexy outfit." Issac looked down at his brother who was busy scanning his girl.

Ethan felt a sudden feeling of possessions. The outfits looked good on her. Unlike her usual clothes, He watched as she walked towards her car and got inside it. Nowarring his eyes, He turned on the engine and drove his car out of the mansion exit before her.

Petal looked through the rearview mirror and sighed in relief. She didn’t want to deal with him today. She needed some time away from him to gather her thoughts.

Driving her car out of the mansion, Petal drove towards the school.

While she was on the road, She saw Ethan’s car following the outside mirror of the car.

Was he following her?

Driving slower, She waited to see what would happen but when she saw him take the next turn, She felt embarrassed by herself. Why would he follow her?

Sighing to herself, She continued to drive keeping her eyes on the road.

When the evening came, Ethan was in his studio room, Watching the Time, Waiting for Petal to come back. It was six in the evening and she still hadn’t come back. For A moment, He started to worry about her.

Standing in front of the window, He waited Impatiently for her to arrive. What if someone had done something to her?

Thinking about this, Ethan became more Impatient, But when he suddenly heard a car sound, He felt relieved seeing her car enter the mansion.

Petal got out of the car, walked towards the mansion. When she entered the mansion, She looked at the living room and walked towards the stairs. Entering her room, She threw her bag on the bed and threw herself on the bed.

She had spent the day outside trying to avoid seeing him, But the truth is, She had fought so hard against the urge to come to the mansion to see him. Bringing her hands to her face, She covered her face.

Five minutes later, PetaI heard a knock on the door. Getting up from the bed, She walked towards the door, opening it to see the one she had been avoiding the whole day.

Now that she was in front of him, He couldn’t control himself anymore, Pulling her towards him, He wrapped his arms around her, Hugging her.
