"Does it hurt?" Ethan asked as he picked up new cotton and poured more sterilizer on it.

Petal nodded her head unaware of how red her face looked right now. To add more to her flustered state, He brought her hands to his lips kissing each of her wounded fingertips.

PetaI felt her heart skip a beat before it started to beat faster than before. She felt dizzy. Her body jolted when she felt his soft lips on her finger and it happened every time he pressed his lips on her fingers.

Petal nodded her head, unable to do anything else. She was shocked, surprised and her mind stopped working. She stared at him with her hazel eyes confused. What is he doing? And why is he doing it?

Once he was finished warping her fingers, Ethan stood up throwing the used cotton in the trash bin before he picked up a new box of bandages along with a sterilizer bottle and walked back towards her.

"Take this and don’t forget to sterilize the wounds when you change the bandages." Ethan said as he handed the bottle and the box to her and she took them.

"Take care of yourself, Don’t be careless, Wounds can cause a serious infection if not cleaned." Ethan added as he tugged a strand of her hair behind her ear.

He could see how nervous she was around him right now and he didn’t know if it was the kind of nervousness that was good or bad. That’s why he decided to let her off for today.

Issac had told him to use his seductive side to make her notice him differently and he had put this plan into work.

"Thank you." PetaI thanked him and left the room walking back to her room.

When she reached her room, Petal placed the things in her hand on the table, and then she walked towards the bed, Sitting down, She stared at her fingers that Ethan had warped them just a few minutes ago.

Remembering the way he kissed her fingers, She let out a soft sigh. For A moment there, Her mind froze and failed to do any reaction. She should have pulled her hands away but she didn’t. She just let him do what he pleased.

A realization hit her, The more she denied her feelings the more they grew bigger and attached and the fact that he suddenly changed his behavior with her from a cold-hearted person to a complete gentleman who makes her hear rase with every single action he does.

"What should I do?" That was the question that Pete asked herself and didn’t find the answer to.

Not far away from the city, Jacob stood on the balcony of the small apartments that he had rented two months ago, Thinking about his next step, After what happened to PetaI and the fact that she almost died, AL of his plans had changed, He had found out who poisoned her and he is planning on how to kill him.

It was a Saturday night. The weather was cold and it started to snow. The Wilson mansion was covered in snow. It gave the mansion a heavenly view. PetaI stood in the garden enjoying the view. This time she made sure to wear warm clothes so she wouldn’t feel cold.

"Good morning, PetaI, I have a favor to ask you, Ethan is down with a cold, He rarely get sick but when he does he tend to have a high fever that can hard to subside without taking care of him, So I need to take care of him until I get back, I sent you a list of the medicine that you will find in my room and how to use them, Thank you."

What?.

Petal’s face had a complicated look when the voice message ended.

Take care of him!

That means that she needs to touch him and that is something that she didn’t want to do but she was forced right now, Having no way to refuse, PetaI walked towards Lana’s room as she looked at the messages that had the list.

1. The name of the medicine.

2. Wear a face mask when you enter his room and don’t remove it.

3. After giving him the medicine, Make sure that he drinks a lot of water to help him get rid of the fever.

4. Make sure that he stays in bed and doesn’t leave it.

Messaging her forehead, PetaI started to look for the medicine that Lana told her to get, Finding the medicine, She looked for the face mask, making sure that she got everything, she left the room.

Walking out of the mansion, PetaI made her way towards the guest house. She tried to not think about anything and just stayed calm.
