Petal smiled at her. Does she have to know her to save her? She was simply a person in need and she helped her.
"It was nothing. You don’t have to think about it anymore." Petal wrote and showed it to her.
Pearl read what was written and nodded her head. She wondered about how PetaI can communicate with people outside the mansion. It must be difficult but she seemed not bothered with it.
While Pearl and Petal were enjoying the warm sunlight. Certain cute guests appeared behind them.
Petal signaled for the dogs to come closer to them and they did. She reached to pat their heads unaware that Pearl was looking frightened right now.
"Be careful." She heard Pearl say.
Petal turned to look at her and noticed the look on her face. Well. She can’t blame. She was like this too when she first saw them. But lately, she discovered how cute they’re.
Petal reached for Pearl’s hand and showed her how to pat their heads first before she brought her hand closer to Max’s head. He seems to be the kindest one between the five of them.
"I’m scared. What if he bit me?" Pearl said, retreating her hand.
Petal giggled and shook her head no. Telling them that they won’t. Lowering herself on her knees. She hugged one of the dogs showing her that they are harmless.
Pearl suddenly became curious and tried to touch one of them.
The dogs drifted their attention to Pearl and moved closer to her. Petal sat on the chair watching as the dogs and Pearl became familiar with each other.
Inside the mansion. Alice and Issac watched the scene unfold in front of them.
"They’re going to be close friends." Alice pointed, smiling.
"Hmm. I can see that. Pearl acts more freely around Petal." Issac replied to his sister’s words."She told me the other day that she wished that she had a sister like her." He added.
"I guess Petal is the saving angel that God sent to this family." Alice said.
Issac leaned against the window. Watching his beautiful girlfriend smile. It made him feel relieved.
"I disagree with the angle part. I saw how she looked at Ethan. Her eyes were full of hatred. Petal will take revenge on Ethan sooner or later." Issac said.
"Don’t break an honest woman’s heart so she won’t get back to you. Ethan acted wrong, He should have told her. I’m sorry. But he deserves it. If he doesn’t change, he behaves. He will lose every person close to him." Alice said knowing that Ethan was coming towards them and he could hear her.
Issac said nothing. Alice was right. Ethan took things too far and too extreme. But he’s a man in love and men and women in love have different approaches when it comes to protecting the person they love.

It was finally the day of the festival. Famous musicians were attending the event. New talents will be presented today and they were here to give their opinions and choices to the students to be their sponsors. But Petal wasn’t looking for that. She only wanted her performance to be evaluated.
"Try not to think about anything else. Just focus on your performance. You will be great. I’m sure of it." The teacher said to the students.
"Petal, Is everything alright?" One of her classmates noticed that she was spacing out all the time today.
Petal nodded her head, smiling weakly. She wasn’t distracted because she was nervous. It was because she was thinking about what happened today. When she arrived this morning, She saw someone watching her. At first, she thought that she was imagining because when she turned she didn’t see that person. Petal couldn’t see his face clearly. But she had a feeling that someone was watching her all day.
"I’m just tired and didn’t get enough sleep." She thought to herself.
When the time for Petal and her classes met, the performance came. Petal picked out of the curtains to see the crowd. The sites were full. Many people had arrived. It made me nervous knowing too many people are going to watch her.
"Take your places. Five minutes are left." The teacher said,
Petal and the rest of the students took their seats and prepared themselves. The female musicians wore long black dresses and the males wore black suits. It was like an orchestra concert but a smaller one. The school that Petal studied at is known for winning this contest almost every year. The school had a good reputation and was known to have the best teachers teams in this city. That was one of the reasons that made Petal choose this school.
The curtains were open. The Orchestra musicians were in their places as the concertmaster. Petal took a deep breath to calm herself. This was the moment she was waiting for. She had worked hard for this day.
"Ready... 1... 2... 3." The concertmaster announced.
The philharmonic began. The music filled the concert hall.
On the last row of the seats. The Santos family was there including Ethan. Petal had invited the family out of politeness but she didn’t think that they would attend. The family sat there enjoying the concert.
"She looks beautiful playing the cello. I must record this." She unlocked her phone and started to record the concert. Later she will give it to Petal.
Ethan sat there silently watching her with a smile on his face. He didn’t imagine that she would be this beautiful holding the cello as she played it. She was breathtaking. Alluring. She seemed so focused and was like she was in her own world. He said that he can go downstairs and congratulate her personally after the concert but that was not an option now. He will settle with watching her from afar for now.
