Invisible Security Guard-Chapter 1990 - 2009: Gabriel Freeman’s Return
"Kind intentions acknowledged, now get lost." Inside the battleship, after Yusuf Zuck listened to the young Emperor’s gesture of gifting women, he immediately waved him off because he had no interest. He came to Dayu Star genuinely to relax and take a break, after all, the life in the Transit Realm was too intense, filled with killing, constantly on edge. So on this colorful Dayu Star, he just wanted to relax for a few days, not planning to bring a couple of women back.
Moreover, he had more than enough women, so he drove the Emperor away.
He stayed a few more days on Dayu Star, and during those days, the young Emperor came by several times to pay respects, but Yusuf never saw him, nor did he meet with the so-called Great Emperor who also came to pay respects.
He was not a beast; he didn’t just accept women given to him, nor was he a lecher, and definitely not a stud.
Until noon on the fourth day, the battleship in the back garden of the palace suddenly disappeared, accompanied by his departure without a word, taking all the women with him.
Indeed, he didn’t bid farewell to anyone, nor was there a need to, so when the time came, he simply left with a few women in the battleship.
Left quietly, and neatly.
...
Transit Realm, atop the teleportation hill.
The sudden appearance of Yusuf Zuck atop the teleportation hill startled him with the sight of Transient City.
Because... because Transient City was engulfed in flames and smoke. Many houses inside the city were burning, thick smoke billowing all around, and chaos engulfed the city with battles erupting in every street and corner.
"What the hell, what’s going on?" Yusuf’s first instinct was that the city was under attack and had been breached; otherwise, the city couldn’t be in such chaos.
"Hmm, the battle at the palace is even fiercer. Damn it, attacking my home base while I’m not around." Yusuf cursed and then rushed towards the direction of the palace.
Meanwhile, the high skies above the palace were embroiled in intense battles. It was as if thousands of people had the entire palace surrounded; Array Masters continuously reinforcing formations, archers ceaselessly shooting arrows, and people endlessly engaged in magical combats.
As he flew over, no one noticed him, and he also saw those Array Masters were not from the Longevity Empire; they were others using formations to imprison the palace, while the people inside seemed eager to break out.
"Phew~ Good thing I returned in time." He glanced down at the palace and found all the ministers present: Parker Berger, Luo Qianqiu, Francis Harmon, Waylon Gardner, and others, including... including the Snow Mountain Domain master Cheryl Mills.
It was her, fighting above the palace hall with someone else, seemingly also protecting the important ministers inside the palace.
Yusuf didn’t strike immediately; instead, after some thought, a cunning idea flashed, and he swiftly changed his appearance, also tying a red ribbon on his right arm.
Because he saw the people in the sky all wore red ribbons on their arms, seemingly to avoid mistaken identity.
He quietly blended into the crowd of thousands, clicking his tongue in amazement.
Because these thousands were all Immortals; the lowest cultivation was Junior Longevity Realm, while the highest was Advanced Eternal Life, even beyond that level.
The one fighting Cheryl Mills was a long-haired elder whom Yusuf confirmed he had never seen before, nor did he recognize any others.
"Hey, how’s the battle down there?" Yusuf asked from the back of the crowd.
Someone at the front immediately replied, "If Cheryl Mills hadn’t suddenly appeared, Longevity King Palace would have been ours. Indeed, Charming Longevity King is not here." The speaker turned to glance at Yusuf, especially eyeing the red ribbon on his right arm.
"Where did the Longevity King go?" Yusuf asked curiously.
"Who knows? Maybe he’s breaking through Longevity. But this time, the information is accurate. We just need to defeat Cheryl Mills, and then we’ll break in together, capturing the Longevity King Palace in one swoop."
"What if the Longevity King appears?" Yusuf asked again.
"We hope he dares come back; his return would be our chance to finish him."
"Brother, which unit are you from?" Yusuf asked yet again.
"Unit? What do you mean by unit?" The person looked at Yusuf dumbfounded.
"I mean, which faction are you a part of?"
"Me? I was with the Jiu Yan Sect before. How about you, brother?"
"The Jiu Yan Sect, ah, I see." Yusuf suddenly realized. He had been reading reports and intelligence every day a few days back, familiarizing himself with the various factions and sects in the Transit Realm long ago. The Jiu Yan Sect was part of a southwestern shaman sect, proficient in cursing techniques, quite formidable but not a major superpower.
However, from the conversation, Yusuf now knew that these people donning the red scarves were most likely a makeshift alliance, temporarily organized to jointly destroy his Longevity Empire.
"What audacity, attacking my Longevity Empire while I’m away." Yusuf clicked his tongue, then suddenly smirked bizarrely, striding forward, shouting, "Make way, make way, move aside..." As he shouted, he squeezed through, and the crowd indeed opened up a gap for him, allowing him to reach the forefront.
At the forefront were super experts, who gave him peculiar looks, then at his arm wearing the red scarf, but didn’t reprimand him because wearing a red scarf meant they were the same group.
Formed temporarily, so not recognizing each other was normal.
"Junior Longevity, stay back, don’t come forward. Otherwise, you’ll be sprayed with blood," an Advanced Eternal Life Realm coldly stated.
"Everyone, don’t stop me. I’m here to help kill Cheryl Mills. I have a sworn hatred with her, don’t stop me," Yusuf seemed very angry, claiming as he screamed and rushed downwards, "Senior, I’m here to help, kill this girl, I have a sworn hatred with her, ah ah ah..."
With his loud shouting, everyone in the sky and on the ground looked at him, even Cheryl Mills, fiercely battling, paused, while the long-haired elder fighting Cheryl Mills snorted annoyedly.
This was a battle between superpowers; he represented the Temporary Red Scarf Alliance, as their top expert, so he didn’t need others to help, as others helping wouldn’t highlight his mightiness?
"Senior, I’m here." Yusuf ran into the fray between the two combatants, throwing fists left and right, being nothing but a nuisance, yet Cheryl Mills didn’t care.
He, however, was the elder, attempting grand moves several times to no avail, fearing he might hit Yusuf instead. So, the elder gradually moved close to Yusuf, swiftly reaching out to grab him.
With a grasp, he lifted Yusuf by the back of the neck, as Yusuf seemingly lost his balance, clinging to his arm, and instinctively leaned toward the elder.
"Get off." The elder exerted a force, attempting to throw Yusuf back into the crowd.
But in this critical moment, just as the elder exerted force, Yusuf had already placed a palm on his chest.
"Whoosh~" An ordinary-looking, seemingly weak palm, yet when it was pressed against the elder’s chest, Eternal Fire suddenly ignited, like gasoline meeting a flame, instantly turning the elder into a fiery figure.
"Ah... Eternal... Boom," the elder hadn’t finished his words before his entire body turned to ash amidst the burning flames.
"What?"
"What happened?"
"What kind of fire was that just now?"
Many were unaware that Yusuf possessed the Eternal Fire since after he obtained it, he only killed the Taotie with it. Hence nobody recognized the suddenly appearing flame, let alone guessed that he was the Longevity King!
"Who is he, killing his own kind?" The Red Scarf Alliance members all erupted in anger, cursing unceasingly.
"Hehehe." At this point, Yusuf stood there, his form trembled, then returned to his original appearance, and the Hell God Bow appeared.
"F*** you all, today no one leaves!"
