Invincibility Begins with Mastery of Fist Techniques-Chapter 75 - 8 Arms
"In every respect, I believe I still am."
Zhou Yuanjue said with a nod.
"I don't see it. I suspect you're a lizardman."
Lu Ming said, eyeing Zhou Yuanjue up and down with suspicion.
"Let's drop the nonsense. What's the situation in Guangpu been like lately?"
Zhou Yuanjue asked, changing the subject.
For the past few days, in order to recover as quickly as possible, he had spent most of his time immersed in a state of Nirvana, aside from when he needed to eat. He let his instincts govern his body and accelerate the healing process, so he was completely unaware of what was happening in the outside world.
"A lot of top foreign masters have poured in. A few of them have already racked up three or four consecutive wins. At the Ji Po Jue Arena alone, there are now five people who have reached Level 5 with four straight victories. But no one has officially submitted a championship challenge yet. That's probably because the power Ji Yunzhou of the Seven Spirits Sect has shown is just too much, giving them pause. I have heard, though, that in the other arenas of the Southern Eight Sects, some masters are getting restless. We might see a title challenge in the next few days."
Lu Ming said with a smile.
"Who's the strongest at my level right now?"
Zhou Yuanjue asked. He'd been resting for so long and was planning to stretch his legs tonight and unwind a little.
"Uh... I really haven't paid much attention to that..."
Lu Ming said, scratching his head. He hadn't expected Zhou Yuanjue's injuries to heal this fast at all.
"Hold on, I'll go look it up."
With that, Lu Ming turned and headed out of the training room.
Zhou Yuanjue wasn't in a hurry. He slowly finished the meal Lu Ming had brought, then closed his eyes to rest.
About half an hour later, Lu Ming hurried back and handed a data sheet to Zhou Yuanjue. "This is probably the strongest fighter in Level 2. He arrived in Donghua pretty late and has only had one match. His opponent was left severely maimed. After today, you probably won't get this chance again."
Zhou Yuanjue took the data sheet and glanced at it. The header read:
Tai Lan Country, Eight Armed Asura Fist, Nacai.
...
...
Tai Lan Country Consulate.
Inside a dimly lit room. The decor was lavish, resplendent and magnificent, filled with the mysterious and solemn character unique to Tai Lan Country.
This was a shrine.
In the center of the shrine, upon an altar, candles burned brightly. Incense smoldered, releasing curling wisps of smoke. The thick fragrance was so potent that it would make a first-time visitor feel dizzy and light-headed.
A life-sized, gilt-bronze statue sat cross-legged. It had eight arms, each in a different pose, forming a different Hand Seal.
The statue's face was not benevolent. On the contrary, its eyes were wide and staring, its expression ferocious and terrifying. In the shadows cast by the dim light, it exuded an aura that would make a person break out in a cold sweat and want to flee.
A young man of medium height, not large in build, with dark skin and a somewhat youthful face, knelt before this strange statue. His hands were pressed together in front of his chest, his eyes tightly closed, as if in devout prayer.
This person was Nacai, known as the "Child Prodigy" in the Tai Lan Country Martial Arts Realm, and currently only eighteen years old.
CREAK.
The door creaked open gently, and a pretty, charming girl from Tai Lan Country entered.
"Lord Nacai, someone has sent you a challenge..."
The girl spoke in a soft voice. Although the young man before her wasn't particularly tall, her body always trembled involuntarily in his presence.
She always had the feeling that Nacai looked at people the way one might look at a chicken or a piece of prey—something that could be crushed at any moment.
It seemed he was constantly sizing people up, grading them based on how difficult they would be to kill.
"Accept it."
Nacai replied without even opening his eyes.
The girl was taken aback by Nacai's crisp, immediate reply.
"Don't you want to know who it is? According to the data, he's supposed to be an incredible fighter."
The girl asked in confusion.
"It's irrelevant. For me, the outcome will be the same regardless of who it is."
Nacai stood up from the floor and slowly turned around.
In the dim light, the girl suddenly felt that his figure seemed to merge with the ferocious statue behind him.
"After all, I have an 'Evil Ghost' living inside my body."

「The next night.」
Ji Po Jue Arena, Arena Number Seven.
Although the Ji Po Jue Arena had been packed to capacity every day lately, Arena Number Seven seemed even more crowded and electric tonight.
There was one simple reason: the third match in Arena Number Seven was Zhou Yuanjue's.
The previous match between Zhou Yuanjue and He Runlin had been widely publicized and was still a hot topic of conversation, earning him considerable fame within the Guangpu Martial Arts Realm and among its fans.
More importantly, Zhou Yuanjue's opponent this time was no simple fighter either.
Nacai, known as the "Child Prodigy" of the Tai Lan Country fighting world, had set many amazing records at the young age of eighteen.
He was the youngest Great Master of Fist Techniques on record in Tai Lan Country, having achieved Mastery of Fist Techniques at just sixteen. Since his debut in Tai Lan, he had never been defeated and was expected to become the new "Fist King" to dominate the country's Martial Arts Realm.
Keep in mind, even Zhou Yuanjue himself had only recently achieved Mastery of Fist Techniques at the age of twenty-five.
There were many legends surrounding Nacai in the Tai Lan Martial Arts Realm. It was said that he was born in a rural village in Tai Lan Country and had a weak constitution as a child. One night, after walking home with his parents along a forest path, he suddenly fell into a coma. He remained unconscious for three days and three nights, and no doctor they summoned could help.
Eventually, his family invited a famous local "master." The master claimed Nacai was suffering from "Soul Loss." Because he was weak and sickly, an evil spirit had trapped his Soul in the forest while he was walking at night, causing the coma.
Following the family's directions, the master performed a soul-summoning ritual all along the path they had taken. Sure enough, Nacai woke up the very next day.
Even more miraculously, his health began to improve from that day forward. It was as if his mind had been awakened.
Coming from a poor family, he threw himself into Fist Technique training and displayed immense Talent. He was eventually noticed by a great master of Tai Lan's Eight Armed Fist, who passed on the style's true teachings to him. From there, he began a meteoric rise, achieving Mastery of Fist Techniques at sixteen.
It is now said that he has built upon the original Eight Armed Fist, adapting it to his own unique characteristics to create the Eight Armed Asura Fist.
Once he enters a true combat state, he becomes like an Asura Evil Ghost—ferocious, crazed, and utterly devoid of humanity.
Thus, a legend persists that the real, sickly Nacai had actually died in that forest long ago. What the master summoned back was, in fact, an Evil Ghost that had taken over his body.
Therefore, in the Tai Lan Martial Arts Realm, he was also known as "Evil Ghost" Nacai.
Of course, these were all just legends passed down by word of mouth in the Martial Arts Realm. No one knew how much truth they held.
