Chapter 288 - 288: Poison?!

The police station fell into complete silence.

Everyone who had been chatting or watching the commotion now stared at the shriveled corpse lying on the ground, then glanced up at Qin Ming, whose body had swelled in size. They exchanged uneasy looks.

It wasn't until Qin Ming was almost at the door that they snapped out of their daze.

As one person let out a shout, the thugs in the room grabbed whatever they could find—chairs, tables, even knives—and charged at Qin Ming.

The man leading the charge swung a chair at Qin Ming's back, but the chair shattered on impact, leaving Qin Ming unharmed.

Qin Ming stopped in his tracks, turned his head, and glared at the attacker. Seeing the man still holding a broken chair leg and about to stab him, Qin Ming suddenly spun around and threw a punch.

Blood coiled around his arm, forming a blade-like shape.

With a sickening squelch, Qin Ming's hand pierced through the man's body, lifting him off the ground and impaling him on his arm.

As the skill activated, the man's body convulsed violently. Blood flowed from the wound and was absorbed into Qin Ming's body, causing his figure to grow even larger.

Qin Ming flung the dried-up corpse aside and faced the swarm of gang members rushing toward him. He kicked one of them, sending him flying into a group of enemies and knocking them down.

With red light flickering in his eyes and blood boiling on his arms, Qin Ming seized the moment to let out a roar.

Spreading his arms wide, he gathered a massive amount of blood in his palms and slammed them forward.

Imitation Kaiser Wave!

Boom!

A few minutes later, the door of the police station opened. Qin Ming, now back to his peak height of 2.3 meters, casually tore off his tattered police uniform, stuffed his hands in his pockets, and strode down the ruined street.

Behind him, the police station's windows were shattered, and the floor was littered with corpses. Bodies were either sliced apart or blown to pieces, creating a gruesome scene.

The surviving police officers leaned against the walls, terrified. Some had even wet themselves.

They had seen vicious thugs and brutal killers before, but a monster that could drain people's blood and turn them into dried-up corpses? This was a first for them.

The blood-red energy waves were like cannons—anyone hit by them would explode on impact. Witnessing thugs being blown apart and their blood flying toward the attacker had left the officers utterly terrified.

Out on the street, Qin Ming was quite satisfied after testing his new skills by killing a dozen thugs.

He had finally developed his own unique fighting style.

A combination of fast, precise, and ruthless military combat techniques, enhanced by blood manipulation, and the ability to mimic and chain together ultimate moves from others—this fusion created an exceptionally brutal fighting style!

It didn't matter if the power was overwhelming; it was undeniably cool!

Anyone seeing their ultimate moves being used as regular skills by someone else would be shocked!

Of course, the reality was that these so-called blood-based ultimate moves were just shaped energy blasts made of blood.

Large Blood Cannon, Small Blood Cannon, Blade-Type Blood Cannon, Continuous Fire Blood Cannon.

Whether you were hit by Blood Serpent Slash or just a random blood sphere, there was no real difference! The only variation was how much blood was mobilized at once!

With his hands in his pockets, Qin Ming walked down the street, brows furrowed in thought.

Right now, he was trying to figure out how to complete the two tasks he had been given this time.

The sudden change in mission requirements had thrown him off, making it hard for him to decide on a course of action.

Should I just find a protagonist and kill them? Treat them like a boss fight and take them out?

But seriously, why is this mission ranked B-Class? Wasn't Final Fight just a side-scrolling arcade game? Since when was it this difficult?

A game of similar fame, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, had a D-Class difficulty for its first stage! Why the hell was this world so much harder?

As Qin Ming pondered, several cars suddenly sped in from a distance.

With the sound of screeching tires, the vehicles skidded to a halt in front of him, and a horde of thugs poured out from inside.

Qin Ming's eyes slowly widened. After scanning their attributes, he finally understood why this mission was ranked B-Class!

These thugs all had decent stats, but that wasn't the real issue.

The real issue was that the leader stepping out of the car... was a boss-level enemy!

Name: Poison

Strength: 40

Constitution: 45

Agility: 15

Spirit: 30

Skills: Street Brawling (B-Class), Whip of Love (B-Class), Mad Love Storm (B-Class), Enchanting Poison (A-Class)

Description: With a seductive and tempting physique, flirtatious and suggestive glances, and an extremely revealing outfit, Poison held a huge reputation within the Mad Gear Gang. But no matter how alluring she appeared, nobody had ever dared to actually touch her. Not once.

With a sultry sway of her hips, Poison stepped out of the car, casually shutting the door behind her.

She wore a cropped tank top that exposed her toned midriff, short shorts that barely covered anything, high heels, and a police cap tilted slightly on her head. True to her name, she looked like a deadly aphrodisiac, triggering primal instincts at a mere glance.

With an outfit eerily similar to the provocative women working in... certain establishments, she even had a pair of handcuffs hanging from her waist and two leather whips in her hands.

Just from her choice of attire, if she were standing outside a particular type of hotel, she'd already have countless customers swarming her, asking for her rates.

Of course, compared to those roleplay-loving ladies working certain "special jobs," Poison—one of the Mad Gear Gang's top enforcers—was different in a few key ways.

Unlike those delicate, slender-armed women, Poison's body was curvaceous yet muscular. Her legs were thick, and her defined muscles were clearly visible—even at a glance, she looked like someone who could break bones for fun.

Striding confidently up to Qin Ming, Poison let her long whip dangle from her left hand, while her right hand held a riding crop, which she casually rested on her shoulder. She smiled, lifted her head...

Lifted her head...

And lifted...

Until she realized—even with her head tilted all the way back, she was still looking up at him.

Qin Ming, now standing at over two meters tall, was so massive he could probably fit three of her inside his frame.

Poison's flirtatious smirk instantly froze.

She forced herself to crane her neck back, locking eyes with Qin Ming for a brief moment... then, in the next second, she abruptly spun around, planted her hands on her hips, and glared furiously at her underlings.

"This is the cop you guys were talking about? The one who killed our men?" She pointed at Qin Ming, her face livid. "You're seriously telling me this is a cop? Have you ever seen a damn cop that looks like this?!"

She swept her gaze over the gang members, her voice rising in exasperation.

"He looks scarier than all of you put together! And you expect me to fight this thing?! With this body size?! Are you guys out of your damn minds?! How the hell am I supposed to win?!"
