Infinite System Inheritor Return From The Abyss-Chapter 486 - 484: Face off with Gods/Goddesses
Seojun's mana flared violently, thick and dark like a storm ready to swallow everything. The ground beneath his feet cracked and split, chunks of earth rising and floating in the air.
Opposite him, The Gods divine aura surged as well radiant, golden light bursting out and shaking the very space around them. The clash of their powers distorted the air, lightning arcing across the ruined land.
Both were seconds away from striking when a thunderous voice echoed from above, shaking the heavens themselves.
"Enough!"
The command wasn't just sound it carried divine authority, freezing both of them in place. Even Zarion's light dimmed slightly.
Then the same voice spoke again, colder this time. "Zarion. Take him here."
Zarion clicked his tongue in annoyance and gave Seojun one last sharp glare. "You're lucky," he muttered. With a flick of his finger, divine light swallowed them both.
In an instant, the world changed White clouds, golden pillars, and a vast marble floor that stretched endlessly. The air was heavy with divinity. Seojun felt his knees forced down by an unseen pressure, the divine weight pushing him into a kneeling position.
His eyes lifted, scanning the grand hall. Before him stood rows of gods and goddesses, each radiating their own aura flame, light, storm, and shadow. Their gazes were cold and watchful.
And on the highest throne sat Zeus, Lightning crackled faintly around his body, his expression unreadable.
But what caught Seojun's attention was beside the throne ,Zyraena.
She was kneeling on the marble floor, her head bowed, her body bound in glowing gold chains that wrapped tightly around her arms and torso. Her divine aura was sealed, and faint traces of pain crossed her face.
Zarion landed beside him, now standing tall before the assembly. "As requested," he said calmly, bowing slightly toward Zeus.
Zeus leaned forward on his throne, his voice deep and filled with restrained fury.
"Han Seojun," he said slowly, the air crackling as he spoke. "The mortal who carries power not of heaven nor hell… and the reason one of my own defied Olympus."
His eyes flashed with lightning. "Do you know what kind of chaos you have caused, mortal?"
Seojun slowly lifted his head, his dark eyes meeting Zeus's gaze without fear. His voice was calm, steady, and carried across the grand hall.
"Which one are you referring to?"
The words echoed in the divine chamber, simple yet sharp enough to cut through the silence.
For a moment, no one spoke. The gods and goddesses looked at each other, disbelief flashing in their eyes. A mortal kneeling before the throne of Olympus had just spoken as if he were their equal.
Murmurs began to fill the hall.
"Did he just—?"
"He dares to speak like that before Zeus?"
The tension grew heavy, divine auras rising in outrage. The very air trembled from their power.
Zeus's expression darkened, thunder rumbling faintly around his throne. The golden chains around Zyraena glowed brighter from the pressure.
"Careful with your words, mortal," Zeus said, his tone low but dangerous. "You stand in front of the gods, not among them."
Seojun didn't flinch. His mana stirred again, faint cracks forming on the marble floor beneath him. His gaze didn't waver as he replied, "Then be clear with your judgment. You said I caused chaos I asked which one. The Abyss, the mortal world, or your divine realm?"
The room fell into stunned silence again.
Even Zarion blinked, his smirk fading slightly. Some of the goddesses exchanged looks of unease, and one of them whispered, "He knows more than he should…"
Zeus's lightning flickered stronger now, striking the air beside his throne with a deafening crack. "You dare question Olympus itself?"
Seojun's voice remained cold. "I'm questioning your words. There's a difference."
One of the goddesses finally spoke, her tone sharp but curious."Creating an altar, Possesing a Divine weapon that you shouldn't is forbidden,
mortal. Has your mother not taught you that?"
Seojun's eyes slowly turned to her. He stood up from the ground, brushing off the dust on his knees. "What do I need to do so that you gods and goddesses will mind your own business?"
The entire place went silent.
The gods were stunned some wide-eyed, others angry. A few whispered among themselves, their divine auras flickering.
"Did he just tell us to mind our own business?"
"He's out of his mind."
"Bold for a mortal…" 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
Zarion crossed his arms and smirked slightly, as if amused by Seojun's audacity.
Zeus leaned forward on his throne, the golden lightning in his eyes glowing brighter. His deep voice filled the hall.
"Mortal, this is not something we can ignore," he said, his tone echoing with power. "Your actions have reached the heavens. Even if you wished to hide, the balance itself called our attention."
One of the gods stepped forward, his expression full of anger. His golden armor glowed faintly as his voice boomed through the hall.
"This mortal dares to speak in such a way before the divine?!" he shouted. "How disrespectful can one human be? He stands in front of gods, yet shows no fear, no respect. Zeus, we should not waste time. Just bestow him the punishment he deserves!"
Several other gods murmured in agreement, their eyes flashing with disapproval.
"Yes, he mocks the heavens."
"He does not kneel properly."
"Even his tone is insolent."
The pressure in the room grew heavier. Seojun stood still under the weight of their divine aura. His hair swayed slightly as the air trembled, yet his expression remained calm, almost bored.
He finally spoke, his voice low and steady."If respect means bowing to arrogance, then I don't need it."
The god who had spoken earlier clenched his fist, lightning flickering around his hand. "You—!" he started to shout, but Zeus raised a hand, stopping him.
"Enough," Zeus said. His voice was calm but carried an authority that silenced the hall. "Let us hear what this mortal truly seeks before we decide his fate."
