[Go, host! She's getting mad! Annoy her more, yeah!]

Seojun sighed, shaking his head just a little.

But Yoora didn't stop. Her chains came again and again, slicing the air with anger behind every move. Her face was full of frustration, and her thoughts were racing fast.

How can he move like this? How can he dodge everything so easily?! He's just a tamer!

The more she missed, the more furious she became. Her attacks got wilder, harder, even less controlled.

And then—just when she sent out another straight attack—Seojun caught her chain.

In a flash, with a single hand, he grabbed it mid-air, and in front of her eyes, it started crumbling apart, small cracks forming, then turning to dust.

Yoora's eyes widened in shock.

"N-No way," she muttered, trying to summon the chains again, but this time… nothing came.

Her knees gave out. Her breath hitched. She fell down, both from surprise and sudden weakness. She looked up at him, still confused.

Seojun walked toward her slowly, not rushing, not angry, just calm as always. He stopped a few steps away and asked in a quiet voice, "Yoora, tell me why?"

Yoora frowned and looked up. "What do you mean why?!"

Seojun kept his hands in his coat pockets and looked down at her. "You only became Nayoung's friend recently. You've only known her for a short time. And yet, you're willing to fight, even risk your life for her? Why?"

Yoora suddenly laughed. Her smile wasn't soft—it was sharp and full of heat. "I pity you, Professor. You probably don't have anyone who would risk their life for you, huh?" Her smile stretched wider. "Are you jealous?"

Seojun raised one eyebrow. He stepped a little closer, then squatted down in front of her, still keeping the same calm expression. "Min Yoora," he said her name slowly.

Then his voice dropped low.

"I don't need people to risk their lives for me."

He looked her straight in the eye as he said, "I'm not weak."

Yoora's smile faded just a little.

Seojun tilted his head slightly and continued. "But someone like you… who doesn't even understand who her opponent is, who rushes in without thinking, without knowing the strength difference—"

He paused.

"You'll just end up being a burden."

Yoora's jaw clenched tight. "You—!"

Her hands gripped the grass beside her. Her mana was still slow to return, and her chains wouldn't answer her call. Her pride was stung. She couldn't stop the sharp anger in her chest.

Seojun stood up again and turned around, saying without looking back, "If you want to protect Nayoung… then get stronger. Not louder."

Yoora's fists were tight, her chains circling the air like restless snakes waiting for her word, and her voice came out steady and sure, even if her heart was beating fast."I might not be as strong as my mom," she said, lifting her chin with determination, "but I believe I can help people in my own way. I'll train. I'll grow. I'll keep using my abilities until I'm strong enough to protect others. I won't just stand by anymore."

She pointed one finger straight at Seojun. "So, let's duel."

Minseok and Nayoung's eyes widened, their meditation forgotten. They both turned their heads toward her, shocked by her sudden words.Even Seojun slowly turned to face her, one eyebrow raised in curiosity. "And what can I get from this?" he asked, his voice calm, almost bored.

Yoora raised her chin higher and flicked her fingers, making her chains slash the air beside her like a challenge. "If you win, I won't say anything again. Do what you want with Nayoung or anyone else. I won't get in the way," she said, her tone serious."But if I win—you'll never show your face to us again, and you'll leave this academy for good."

A smile tugged at the corner of Seojun's lips. He slowly began walking toward her, hands in his pockets. "Very brave of you," he said, now just a step in front of her. Then he leaned down a little, meeting her eyes face to face, and his voice dropped into a whisper only she could hear."But let me change your deal a bit."

Yoora flinched slightly as his calm, cold gaze stared into hers.

"If I win," Seojun said, "you will attend this class like a proper student, follow every order I give you, and never complain."He smiled again, but there was no kindness in it."Whatever you see, whatever you hear—you will shut your mouth."

Yoora clenched her teeth, not looking away. "You'll never win," she said.

Seojun stood straight again, now looking down at her with a slight grin, and the system's voice suddenly echoed in his head, excited and loud:[Oh oh oh! Another fight! Want me to adjust your strength to match hers, host?!]

'Do it,' Seojun thought without hesitation.

Then, without looking at the two still sitting behind him, he said to Minseok and Nayoung, "Keep doing what you were doing. Don't wait for me."

Yoora was about to speak again when Seojun stepped forward, grabbed her shoulder without warning—and in a blink, they both vanished.

"Eh?!" Nayoung gasped, standing up. "Where did they go?!"

Minseok jumped to his feet as well, his eyes wide. "We have to stop them! Nayoung, Yoora's no match for the professor!"

Nayoung looked at him quietly, then slowly nodded. "You think so…? Then professor will win?"

Before Minseok could answer, a small, bouncing figure appeared beside them.

Sui popped out from the grass, its big round eyes blinking cheerfully."Kyuu~ Let's continue, hehe!" the little creature giggled, sitting between them like nothing big was happening.

Meanwhile, Yoora stumbled slightly as her feet landed on unfamiliar ground. She looked around quickly, confused and alarmed."H-How? W-What is this place?" she whispered, eyes darting around.

The sky above them held a strange moon—it was large and glowing, but the light it gave was silver-blue and not quite natural. The ground below was rough and dry, like cracked earth, with small hills and broken soil bumps, but no trees in sight. It was wide, silent, and empty.

She turned toward the only figure standing ahead of her.

Seojun stood tall, one foot placed on a broken, flat piece of rock, his eyes glowing faintly under the strange moonlight.

"Welcome," he said in a low voice that echoed across the still field."…to Ethereal Grounds."
