Two beings capable of destroying entire planets if given enough time—dead, just like that!

A part of Seer yearned to contest this monster's ridiculous level of speed, but the far larger part of him was frightened. So terrified that he immediately ripped open a small crack in space before leaping in.

Cassius shook his head in disappointment. Then he grabbed out with a claw-like motion. The sound of glass shattering echoed as the cloaked Seer was snatched from the folds of space.

With horror etched across his face, Seer shakily stared at the nonchalant monster before him.

"You're the genuine Demon King here, aren't you?" Cassius's grip tightened. "Why so scared?"

For the first time in many years, Demon King Seer started to speak—screaming, "M-Monster!!!"

Cassius frowned, then flicked.

SPLAT!

*Ding!*

"What a waste of time," he complained, ignoring the essentially useless System notifications. "Even the bugs inside the World's End Gate were worth more than these so-called Demon Kings."

The battle that had been building up since just after the System's Awakening—finished so easily!

Viola and Yimin both stared at Cassius's aloof visage—one too stunned to speak, and the other ready to spread her legs at a moment's notice. A difference in intentions, sure, but the intensity of emotions between the two was equally extreme.

— Meanwhile, just above the Moon, where thousands of absurdly powerful figures had gathered —

"Don't you understand??" A formidable voice carried through the vacuum of space. "Either way, you lot have to die! Only that way can our Wolfdom obtain all the Fate we deserve!"

Azara Aluria narrowed her eyes at this declaration—even though the voice wasn't directed at her.

The Prisoners growled, staring daggers at the owner of the voice. They hated the way this person was talking to them, urging forth a killing intent that had been bubbling for millennia.

"You must believe that you're invincible, don't you, wolfy!?" One of the Ice Senators unleashed his SSS-Rank aura, with ice threatening to freeze even space itself. "How cocky are you!? I'll kill you—"

Just as those words left the massive Ice Giant's mouth, a claw energy arc spread out and decapitated the behemoth!

"Why speak when you're so weak?" The Wolfdom member guffawed, spitting out in disdain. "Well, no matter," he continued, completely ignoring the damage to the Sun that his casual attack had caused. "You're all going to die; your Karma will then belong to our Wolfdom Dimension."

The Trial Floor Prisoners felt fear creep up their spines.

"Ho?"

Azara Aluria, however, was the furthest thing from scared.

"Although you were right about that Ice Trash being weak, he wasn't wrong about one thing—" she paused.

OOOOM!

"—Where do you get off being so cocky?"

RUMBLE!!!

"!!!" "!!!" "!!!"

"Lord Falar," whispered one of the weaker Wolfdom members. "The Alurias actually sent the one known as the 'Thorned Destroyer.'"

"Our chances of coming out of this with the most benefits have… plummeted…" he added in a fearful tone—just Azara's fierce gaze enough to make him quiver.

The Wolfdom member who had spoken up originally now had furrowed brows. As one of the Werewolf Commanders of the 8th Floor of the Wolfdom Tower, he hesitated very rarely.

But in the face of the merciless woman who made even Transcendents grovel at her feet, Commander Falar had to take a step back. He corrected his attitude while looking at the thousands of powerful Aluria Cultivators gathered outside the Moon.

'That cunning bitch Amaris was thinking the same thing as our King—bringing such a formidable force for a small Karma Event like this one,' he thought in annoyance, though outwardly, he smiled.

"How can we make this right, Miss Azara? I'm sure my King will understand if we have to relinquish some of the Karma to your Queen—"

"90%."

"E-Excuse me…?" Commander Falar's face twitched like crazy.

"I said 90%," Azara repeated, her blackish-purple hair wildly blowing about. "That is what we'll take from this Nexus Event. 90% of the Karma. And this is me being generous—you're lucky I don't want more as compensation for that little stunt you pulled with the Ice Senator. Every kill contributes to Karma acquisition, and you took it without permission."

Silence…

'This damn woman!!!' Commander Falar roared internally. 'There are tens of thousands of Nexus Prisoners, and yet she wants to act like the insignificant one I killed was one in a billion! Fucking Alurias!!'

"Are you two overlooking the existence of Nightingale?"

A raspy voice cut through the tension building up between Azara and Commander Falar. It belonged to a man garbed in a black cape, his skin as pale as paper, with razor-sharp fangs that gleamed under the starry glow of space.

'Count Sayzer.' Both Azara and Falar thought in unison, their expressions becoming ugly. 'Of course, it had to be this bastard!'

They hadn't noticed him before, and for good reason. After all, he was one of the most famous Vampire Counts—unrivaled in the art of camouflage.

It would've been more surprising if they had noticed him…

"What are you doing here, you bag of bones??" Azara scowled.

Count Sayzer's eyes widened ever so slightly as he chuckled. "Why, it's so very nice to see you as well, little Azara. Tell me, when did you become so big?"

"Fuck you!" Azara spat back, her aura surging out of control. "Are you looking for a fight!?"

Count Sayzer sighed, beckoning forward a few of his equally pale-skinned subordinates. Accompanying them were a couple of female figures covered head to toe in cloaks. One of them was Bella in disguise, with the other being Gina—both of whom Count Sayzer knew were there.

He smiled a little before grabbing something that one of the non-cloaked figures had in his hands.

"You all know what this thing is, don't you?" He asked, showing off the item in his grasp.

"What if I told you there was more where this came from, and all you have to do to obtain them is let us have the largest portion of Karma from this Minor Karma Event?"
