Indulging Mrs. Lu-Chapter 8 - I Am Really a Living Lei Feng
Chapter 8: Chapter 8 I Am Really a Living Lei Feng
It's just a person lying there! And wearing a camouflage uniform at that.
She cautiously kicked at him, and when he didn't move, her courage grew, reasoning that if he feels warm, he must still be alive.
Zhuang Shuqing squatted down, grabbed his shoulder and gave him a hard push, flipping him over to reveal a face painted with camouflage. She stared at the face for a long time but could only conclude it was a man's face.
"Hey, wake up~" She pushed him again.
The man didn't move, and the unpainted parts of his face were unnaturally pale.
Zhuang Shuqing thought for a moment, then set down her backpack and began checking him.
"I'm really a living Lei Feng."
At first, she felt somewhat restrained, but as her eyes caught sight of the red on his clothes, her movements unconsciously sped up. In the quickest undressing pace of her life, she removed his jacket, revealing perfect eight-pack abs.
"Hiss~"
Zhuang Shuqing gasped in amazement.
Good lord, that bronze skin paired with perfect eight-pack abs, damn perfect! Of course, you must first overlook the small, inflamed hole in his abdomen.
"Shot, huh~" Zhuang Shuqing's expression became instantly serious.
She took out anti-inflammatory medicine from her medical bag and disinfected his wound according to methods she found online. This process seemed extremely cruel and painful to her.
Yet, this man didn't even flinch, his eyes tightly closed as if he had passed out.
Zhuang Shuqing, unable to bear it, blew gently on his wound for a while after disinfecting it, then carefully buttoned up his clothing.
After completing these tasks, she sat beside him, poured some water into the lid of her bottle, lifted his head slightly, and brought it to his lips.
Whether he had woken up or his lips were just too dry, the water in the lid disappeared in a flash. Zhuang Shuqing smirked, poured some more water, and brought it to his lips again. Just like before, the water vanished quickly, and so she poured it two more times with the same result.
Speechless, she placed him back on the ground, glanced at the nearly empty cup, secured the lid, and stopped pouring water for him.
Alone on the mountain with an unconscious man whose fate was unknown, Zhuang Shuqing suddenly felt troubled. What should she do now?
Just as she was assessing the likelihood of taking him down the mountain, soft noises came from not too far away.

Without a second thought, Zhuang Shuqing grabbed a broken tree branch beside her, placed it in front of the man, and quickly concealed herself behind some bushes.
Gradually, the noises drew closer, and Zhuang Shuqing took out a small knife from her calf, ready to fight if needed.
Upon seeing the clothing of the newcomers, she breathed a sigh of relief, placed the knife back, and silently left in another direction.
No sooner had she left than a powerful voice called out softly, "Quick, he's over there."
Several tall figures suddenly sprang from the bushes, surrounding the unconscious man.
One of them said, "Lieutenant Lulu has been shot, the wound has been treated; hurry, we must get him to the hospital."
In an instant, they all became frantic. This group acted swiftly and soon began carrying the unconscious man back, leaving the clearing empty in the middle.
The man at the rear scanned the surroundings, his gaze lingering thoughtfully on the broken branch. He walked forward, bent down, stood up again, and now held a Work Permit in his hand.
