I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 304: Chopped Dinosaur?
Chapter 304: Chopped Dinosaur?
Stepping out from the alleyway was a tall young man with black hair and black eyes, with a handsome face. His attire was that of a white academic uniform that was slightly stained at the hem.
Stained with blood, to be specific.
He clutched a scabbard of a sword that was attached around the side of his hip as he was followed by another man with black hair tied in a ponytail.
Lillian recognised these two to be Kuro and Jericko, a surprising duo considering where they currently were.
As Kuro walked past the ice wall, his hand gripped the hilt of his sword. Lillian then saw a silver blur as he flashed his blade out, severing through the frosty wall and causing it to shatter.
Lillian gawked as she saw the frozen and shattered remains of the cultists. As she was about to speak out and greet them, Millis beat her to it.
Millis raised her fist annoyingly at them before yelling:
"Oi! Ya messed up mah cool moment!"
The two men stopped before the two ladies. They threw Millis a silent glance.
Kuro then responded with a slight bow:
"Apologies, I thought you two would be in need of assistance with the amount of enemies there."
Straightening his back, he stared at the purple-haired woman’s sword, noticing the pressure radiating off of its design.
Curiosity flashed through his eyes, but he decided to ignore it; however, his friend, Jericko, didn’t as he approached Millis to speak about it.
Kuro looked towards Lillian and asked:
"Are you feeling any better?"
Lillian smirked, "Before or after this invasion?"
Kuro smiled slightly at the girl’s casual mood, "I suppose in general."
"Yeah, it’s fine now..." Lillian nodded before glancing between him and Jericko, who had become rather fond of Millis’s way of talking.
"Aren’t you guys meant to be inside the underground shelter?"
Kuro gave a low hum before turning around, "Let’s move while we speak."
After saying that, he dashed forward, fortunately, in the direction of the dorms.
Millis, who was still talking to Jericko...
"Yeah! So, basically I killed this one dude and—"
... Before feeling something grab the back of her collar.
Glancing back, she suddenly felt herself being dragged away by Lillian. Jericko, watching as Lillian and Millis got farther away from him, found that his friend had also left.
"Ah!" He gasped before running after them.
Kuro, who was running ahead, thought about slowing down to Lillian’s speed. However, in the next moment, he was surprised to find himself overtaken.
This was all thanks to Lillian’s boots.
Millis, who was being dragged along, folded her arms as the back of her shoe skidded along the ground.
"Man, Lil’! Ya sure are quick even while draggin’ meh. Looks like ya endurance training with red-eyes is paying off!"
Lillian’s ears twitched at this. Her face immediately flushed at the words endurance and at Millis’s reference to a certain Assassin.
She became unreasonably bashful and unintentionally slowed down enough that she was now at the same speed as Kuro and Jericko.
She glanced to the side, finding Kuro staring at her with an impressed look.
"You’re quite swift, Miss Lillian. You may even be faster than me if this was a race."
Lillian rubbed the back of her head sheepishly, "Hehe... Just some training, you know?"
’And the help of items.’ She added secretly in her mind.
"So, could you tell me why you two aren’t in the underground shelter? I’m sure that you guys must’ve teleported there suddenly, right?"
Kuro tilted his head, "You are aware about the teleportation?"
Lillian nodded, "The hospital and everyone inside teleported without me." She then paused before adding, "To get teleported as well."
Jericko moved in between them with a raised eyebrow, "Did your academy tell you beforehand which building will have the teleporter, Miss?"
Lillian shook her head, glancing over the burning rooftops of the building and seeing the tall building that was the female dormitory, which was still perfectly intact...
"Nah. I just figured it out on my own. Teleport the places that have the highest concentration of people, you know?"
Jericko nodded and fell back, letting Kuro, who was in deep thought, answer Lillian’s earlier question:
"To answer your question, we asked to fight against the invaders, since we were forbidden from using the bracelet your academy gave to us, we found it better to do something rather than standing idle."
As he was saying this, a cultist quickly dashed out from a random alleyway, morphing into a gigantic monster that resembled Tyrannosaurus rex with silver scales.
Millis, quickly catching sight of it, flicked her wrist, causing a humongous spike to shoot up from underneath it, piercing through its underside.
Lillian tossed Millis into the air, chucking her above the dinosaur.
Kuro pulled out his sword and slashed upwards, sending a flying slash of mana that carried traces of frost. It cleaved through the side of the rex, taking off its left leg.
Its wound froze over and slowed down its regeneration.
The dinosaur let out a roar as it leaned to one side, snapping off the spike it was stuck on and collapsing to the ground.
BUM!
Causing a cloud of dust to rise, it was suddenly shredded and cut apart by it. It was as though the very dust particles themselves were razor-sharp blades!
Jericko, who had made the dust cloud razor sharp, summoned a massive spear several metres long before sending it down and pinning the dinosaur to the ground.
THUD!
Millis fell from the sky, summoning her sword that radiated an iridescent glow. Gripping it with both hands, she raised it over her head before slashing down, cleaving through the dinosaur’s neck.
She was later caught by Lillian, who had situated herself underneath the Heroine.
Lillian, who had just watched the three effortlessly take care of it, couldn’t help but shoot a sad look towards the dinosaur that had slowly transformed back into its human form.
She sighed, ’Not much I can do... I can just use this time to save my mana for the bigger fight.’
Looking down, she found Millis acting bashful as they cupped both sides of their face and fidgeted a little.
"Oh~ mah hero~!" Millis cooed with a fake blush on her face before feeling herself drop and land harshly on the stone ground.
Thud!
"OW, MAN! I WAS JUST PLAYIN’ AROUND!"
Millis rolled on the ground as she clutched her rear with both hands, squealing dramatically as Lillian rolled her eyes at her.
Lillian was now unconsciously taking in a certain Assassin’s habit of dropping people once catching them.
