He looked at me with an expression of betrayal. While Jullian stands still in shock at my betrayal, the princess jumps toward him and hugs him even more tightly than before.

The king chuckles one last time before walking toward her. He gently hits her head and says.

The king sighs and says.

I give her a smile and say.

She nods her head and says.

I raise one of my eyebrows at that question and nod my head.

"Go ahead. If that is something I can grant, I will give it to you."

She nods and gives me a beautiful smile.

"Can I marry your bodyguard, Jullian?"

I look at her for a few seconds before saying.

"I cannot grant you that request, princess. Love is not something you can force on someone. If you want him to marry you, you need to make him fall in love with you. That is how love works and something that I stand for. I will not stop you from wooing my bodyguard, but if you decide to force your way into his life using your authority as a princess, I will do something about it."

The princess looks at me for a few seconds before nodding her head.

"I see. Then I want to ask for permission to woo your bodyguard, Jullian."
