I look at the massive being in front of me. This is the boss of the dungeon we are currently inside. The boss is a bipedal creature with the head of a bull, a beastmen’s body, and a lizard’s feet and hands.

It is an ugly monster. A monster is ugly, but this one is the ugliest monster I have ever seen.

I frown a little when the creature releases black energy. I quickly cast a shield spell. I widen my eyes when I see my shield is not working.

Seeing my shield gone, my companion quickly ran away from the black energy. Lucky for us, it has a range limit.

"Gwyn! What is happening?! How can your shield get destroyed?"

I look at Silva and say.

"There are only two things that can destroy that shield with ease. It is either a Necrotic Energy or a very powerful attack. However, I think it is the first one rather than the latter. The shield will crack instead of disappear in an instant if it is powerful."

It looks like I need to change my strategy. I shake my head. No. I need to destroy this thing in a flash. The necromancer or any Death-type mage is my weakness. [Druid] and [Astrologian] are two jobs that are not good against Necromancer.

There are three kinds of healers in the Second Life. The first one is a [Holy Healer], the second one is [Neutral Healer], and the last one is [Cursed Healer].

[Holy Healers] are the ones that have healing spells that contain holy power. When they heal any player with a race or class full of curses, necrotic spells, or demonic in nature, they will receive damage instead of getting healed.

[Neutral Healers] are the ones that can heal both spectrums. However, we are not as good as the other two when they heal the right people. [Druid] and [Astrologian] are in this type of healers—smaller healing points. However, we can heal for all jobs.

[Cursed Healers] are the DPS/Healer, as most of their healing spells can be used as a DPS spell against most mobs. They are great classes to level up because they are easier to level up for their good DPS spell. Not only that, their healing spells are the highest healing spell in the entire game when used for a certain job.

I shake my head and focus on the boss monster in front of me.

I need to end this fight in an instant.

"Get back! Let me take care of this!"

My companion did not question my order and quickly left the battle to me. They are watching from a distance as I prepare to cast spells to end this fight. I take a deep breath and let my Starglobe spin above me.

"[Zodiac: Aries]! [Zodiac: Taurus]! [Zodiac: Gemini]! [Zodiac: Cancer]! [Zodiac: Leo]! [Zodiac: Libra]! [Zodiac: Virgo]! [Zodiac: Scorpio]! [Zodiac: Sagittarius]! [Zodiac: Capricorn]! [Zodiac: Aquarius]! [Zodiac: Pisces]!"

The circle of the zodiac appears behind me and lets me cast one last spell.

"[Forbidden Spell - Zodiac: Ophiuchus]"

A giant blue serpent appears from the zodiac circle and appears above me.

"Ophiuchus! Attack that thing!"

The blue serpent roars and flies at the boss in front of me. With the boss busy with Ophiuchus, I quickly take a deep breath and prepare to cast more spells.

"[Guardians of Nature]!"

The Four Auspicious Beasts appear in front of me. I pat their heads for a second before saying.

"Please kill that thing. Make it fast."

The four of them nod their heads and fly at the dungeon boss. While they were flying, I decided to boost them.

"[Four Elemental Boost]! [Four Season Blessing]!"

Their bodies get bigger, and the elements around their bodies get stronger.

With my five trusted summons taking care of the battle, I only need to buff them from here, and the fight only lasts for a minute, maybe less. The end result is the dungeon boss disappears into ashes after the [Vermillion Bird] releases a massive torrent of fire from its mouth.

I smile at them and walk toward the massive crystal ball behind the boulder where the dungeon boss sits. I point my finger at it, and all five summoned creatures release an attack and destroy the crystal.

"Can you guys take us out of here?"

My summon releases a joyful cry before they take us on their back. I laugh a little when I hear a surprise cry from my companion as we fly out of the dungeon. After a minute of flying, we are back to the surface.

I get off Ophiuchus’ back. The rest of my companions also get off the four auspicious beasts.

I decided to let them stay in this world and even pamper them with special food for summoned creatures from the Second Life. I smile a little when I hear them purring at the food in front of them.

I let Silva, Hilda, and Sonia feed them, and my smile gets bigger when I hear them laughing when the [White Tiger] licks them. While feeding them, Silva looks at me and says,

"Gwyn, can I ask why you decided to go all out in that boss room?"

I look at her and say.

"Because a Necrotic monster is bad news. Hilda, do you remember the giant Fly Monster? The one that tries to turn the entire population of Luzia Kingdom into an undead."

Hilda nods her head slowly and widens her eyes.

"Is this monster the same?"

"Yes. That is why most of the monsters we fight are [Mummy], an undead monster. If we let the dungeon boss get out of the dungeon, we will have a problem. Not only will there be a lot of people dying, but also feed the monster with more power as they feed on the souls of the dead."

Silva and Hilda nod their heads in understanding, and I can see them release a relieved sigh.

"Anyway, with this boss killed, we can release a relief breath because we did not need to worry about the dead returning to life and hungry for souls. For now, we only need to wait for the dungeon to be destroyed, and we can report back to Duke Itor."

This is our second dungeon of the day, and there should be only three more dungeons to go. With the help of the magician, dungeon researcher, and even the priests, we managed to get all the locations of the dungeons that the adventurer guild did not report to Duke Itor.

I snap from my thoughts when I hear something shatter inside the cavern. I look at the cavern and see that the dungeon is gone. I get up from the ground and say.

"Let’s go back."

Nathalia frowns at the sight in front of her. She walks toward the nearby soldiers and says.

"Excuse me, but what is happening?"

The soldier looks at her and says.

"We are sent to the frontier from the capital city to defend against a monster wave. A massive Void Crack appears, and we need to help the other. Lucky for us, an S-rank party already takes care of the dungeons around the frontier."

"Woah. S-rank, huh?"

"Do you know who they are?"

The soldier looks at her with a proud expression.

"They are a party from Lokah City! They are called Six Stars Party! The leader is Gwyn, the healer. Silva, the Dark Huntress. Hilda, the Wild Archer. Jonathan, the Noble Archer. Lastly, Jullian, the Golden Lightning!"

The soldier did not see Nathalia’s face change from excitement to worry. She knows that name because one of them is her princess. He knows that her princess will be an adventurer, but she does not know that they will be involved in a dangerous event like this one.

She had already forgotten about the little fact that Hilda and the rest were at an S-rank party.

"Excuse me, but can I talk to the lord of this city? I’m Nathalia, a Captain from the Luzia Kingdom. We want to help in this matter. Our two kingdoms are an ally, after all."

The soldier nods his head and says.

"Then you can visit the castle. You can ask him if you want to join this fight. We need to unite when monsters appear, after all."

"Of course. Anyway, I should go to the castle now."
