It takes a few hours for us to arrive in the capital city of Verlagan Kingdom, Mantah City.

After another three hours of sailing, we arrived in Mantah City. I can see many ships, mostly fishing ships, docked in the port. On the land, I can see people putting the fish and anything they catch in the river to be sold.

My eyes go further and see many food vendors selling their food. It is just like Ulian City, just a little bit fewer people.

However, what caught my attention was a group of guards with full gear walking toward our ship. They stand there waiting for us to come. After the crew put the plank for us to walk, my companion and I left the ship.

As we land on the ground, one of the guards walks toward us and gives me a little salute.

"Welcome to Mantah, my lord! I’m sorry to ask this, but are you Gwyndolin Alexander Cunningham?"

"That’s me, yes."

"Then please follow me. We have already prepared a carriage for you and your companion. The king is waiting for you in the palace."

"Of course."

The six of us follow the guard, and I can see two fancy carriages already waiting for us. After looking at each other for a few seconds, Sonia, Silva, Hilda, and I take the black and gold carriage while Jonathan and Jullian take the deep red carriage.

The king nods and gets up from his throne.

"Follow me."

I nod and follow the king leaving the throne room. I can see twenty or so guards following us from behind. By the look of them, they are the elite guards, huh? The people who guard the king and his family.

We walk for a minute before we arrive at the garden. The garden is beautiful. I can see orange trees and many kinds of flowers in the garden. I really need to upgrade the garden in Shadowfall City.

"Father!"

I snap from my thoughts when I hear someone calling the king. I can see three children, two girls and one boy, running toward the king and the queen. The pair hug the children for a few seconds before the king kneels in front of the boy.

"Arslan, someone here wants to look at you for a few minutes, okay?"

"Another doctor?"

"Yup. He wants to see if he can heal you, okay?"

"En. Okay!"

The king smiles, gets up, and looks at me.

I smile at him and give a wink at Arslan, who smiles in anticipation. I decide to do a little show.
