I Try To Enjoy My Life But This Woman Keep Calling Me Villain-Chapter 128: Ulian City
"Prepare for docking!"
I look at the busy city not too far away from us, and I must say that they have a different building than the Southern Continent. I don’t know the other cities and kingdoms, but this one has an Arabic Architecture.
I know that the Western Continent has a giant desert separating the continent into three parts, but I never thought they would look like this. Also, how do the beastmen survive in this place? They have fur and stay in this hot place?
I can see a tiger beastman standing waiting for us in the port. How can he survive this heat? I know he did not wear a shirt, but I know the heat from the sun is still too hot. Oh, well. That is a mystery I need to uncover another day.
With all of our baggage stored inside my pocket dimension, we are ready to get off the ship and explore the city immediately. After waiting for ten minutes so the ship is safely docked, we walk through the plank and land on the ground.
I can see the city is busy with work. I can see people getting goods from the other ships and many food vendors calling customers to buy their food. This is the first time I have seen a market this massive.
Even the market in Sea Serpent Point is not as big as this one. Not only is it bigger, this market is full of other races as well. I can see beastmen, humans, dwarves, and even elves among the people walking around the market.
The people who prefer staying in the forest decide to go out and visit a city. The elves in Cunningham County did not want to get out of their safe haven, and only because I asked them a favor were they willing to go out and help us defend the fortress on our previous march.
I shake my head and look at Hilda.
"I think we should go to the castle first before we explore the city."
I look at Hilda and lean closer to her.
"Who is the lord of this place?"
I whisper to Hilda. Hilda looks at me and nods before saying.
"Lord Asfahan, he is the lord of this place. He is a Count of the Verlagan Kingdom. I don’t know what kind of person he is, but my father said that he is a kind but cunning businessman. Make sure not to negotiate with him without a local price."
"Ah, that kind of businessman, huh? I understand."
That means he is kind but willing to exploit you if you are naive enough not to do research before trading goods with him. So basically a basic merchant behavior.
"Anyway, should we get a carriage or just walk there? The sun is still high, after all. We can stop at one of the food vendors and try their food."
At the mention of food, Jullian and Jonathan perk up and start to nod their heads.
"Yes! We should walk there, young master!"
"He is right, my lord. I think we should enjoy the sun. We did not need to rush things! We should enjoy our day here."
I chuckle a little at their behavior while Sonia and Silva shake their heads in embarrassment. I look to the side and say.
"What do you think?"
"I don’t mind, Father."
"Yeah. I think we should walk, dear."
"Yup! After a long journey, we need to move our legs, Gwyn!"
I nod and say.
"Then let us go and do a little exploring."

|3rd POV|
"Oi, Quentyn. What are you doing? Are you trying to seduce those women? Forget it. They are a special guest of the lord. Can’t you see the hidden guard looking after them?" 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
The young man, Quentyn, shakes his head and says.
"I know, Jul-Tan. I’m just curious about them."
"Curious? Your expression shows that you want to kill them. You are glaring at them as if they killed your firstborn child. What is it?"
Quentyn has a secret, a secret that not a single person knows about. He is a reincarnated person, the third one in this world among Gwyndolin and Catharina.
And just like the two of them, he reincarnated into this world after playing a game. However, unlike Gwyndolin, who played a game that did not have any connection to this world, he is playing a game that has a connection to this world, just like Catharina.
Quentyn plays a game called [White Lily: Dragon Crest], a sequel to the main game. However, it was not a sequel in the timeline but rather a prequel. He is reincarnated not as the protagonist of the story, unlike Catharina, but rather as a mob.
Quentyn is a mob character destined to die in the story’s prologue. However, because of his hard work, he got out of that destiny and reached adulthood without too many problems. Not only that, he also manages to get a connection with the cast of the story.
Like Catharina, he decides to create an early connection and power base before the start of the story.
The reason why he looks at Gwyndolin like that is because...
’The story is about to start.’ Quentyn thought.
Unlike in the first game, Gwyndolin in this game is not the villain or the protagonist but rather a supporting NPC for the protagonist.
’With him already here, that means we are already getting into the first part of the story,’ Quentyn thought while looking at Gwyndolin and his companion.
"Oi! Quentyn! What is wrong with you today?!"
Quentyn looks at his best friend and shakes his head.
"It is really nothing, Jul-Tan."
The tiger beastman looks at his friend and sighs.
"Fine. If you said so. Anyway, what do you want to do now? Do you still want to buy the equipment you’ve been eyeing for a long time?"
"Ah! You are right. I already have enough money to buy them."
Quentyn wanted to be an adventurer because it was his best job in this situation. Adventurers let him visit all the dungeons or places where he can get the items he needs to survive the canon storyline.
However, to be an adventurer, he needs to buy equipment because being an adventurer is dangerous. He is decent in swordsmanship and archery, but he knows that it will not be enough for what he wants in this life—a harem.
That’s right. After knowing where he reincarnated, he wants to have a harem. In a world where polygamy is not really a problem as long as you have enough money to support your family, Quentyn knows what he needs to do.
He has been saving money to buy a set of equipment from the blacksmith. It was equipment that appeared in the game. It was equipment that was good in the early game but quickly dismissed in terms of usefulness.
"Come on, Jul-Tan. We are now ready for our start of adventure!"
While Quentyn does not like that Gwyndolin appeared on this continent, he cannot do anything about it and can only move on.
The two of them walk to the blacksmith to buy the gear they need to start their adventure.
While they walk away from Gwyndolin and his companion, Quentyn and Jul-Tan did not know that Gwyndolin and his companion have already noticed their presence.
"The two following us are gone."
Gwyndolin already informs his companion that they are being followed. Gwyn informs his companion about the guard that is watching them from a distance. However, what catches his attention is the two people that follow them closely.
"Why did they decide to follow us?"
Silva asks while looking at her back. Gwyndolin shrugs and says.
"I don’t know. They are not close enough to us for me to hear what they are talking about. They are not too stupid to do that."
"Should we take care of them, young master?"
Jonathan nods at Jullian’s words and even prepares to take out his bow. However, before they can do anything, Gwydolin puts his hand on their shoulders and says.
"Don’t. We did not want to cause any trouble, especially in other kingdoms. We are here to have some adventure and maybe get a treasure or two. We will leave them for now. However, we will take action when they decide to do something stupid."
Jullian and Jonathan nod their heads and leave their weapons where they are.
After saying that, the six of them continue to go around the city, enjoying what it offers. They mostly stop in front of a food stall to buy the food and taste all the new food they can buy: some they like and some they hate.
Other than the food, Gwyndolin and his companion also stop at the blacksmith and apothecary. As a princess coming from a place where metal is abundant, Hilda wants to see if she can find a unique metal in this city. On the other hand, Gwyndolin, Sonia, and Silva want to see if they can buy medical herbs or even any plant that does not exist in the Southern Continent.
It takes them two hours before they arrive in front of a castle where a group of people are already waiting for them. A middle-aged man walks forward when they arrive.
"Welcome to Ulian City, Grandmaster of Medicine, Gwyndolin Alexander Cunningham."
