I, the Villain, Want to Save Myself, But the Yandere Heroines Disagree-Chapter 65 - A Woman Whos Hard to Read
A few more days passed, and the Student Council’s recruitment efforts were gradually completed. All departments had begun their respective work.
On this particular day, Orson sat in his office, reviewing documents.
Although the Student Council wasn’t an administrative body and didn’t have an overwhelming amount of paperwork, there were still some files that required the president’s personal approval.
At that moment, the office door opened.
Without looking up, Orson said, “Classmate, do you need something?”
He assumed it was a regular member of the Student Council.
Standing at the door, Olivia thought for a moment, then closed the door behind her. She clasped her hands behind her back and quietly walked up behind Orson.
As a light fragrance wafted through the air, Orson felt a pair of hands cover his eyes.
“Guess who?~” Olivia said playfully from behind him.
“Stop fooling around, Olivia. I’m working,” Orson replied. How could he not recognize Olivia’s voice?
“Boring. Orson, you’re no fun at all,” Olivia said, releasing her hands from his eyes. She pulled over a chair, sat beside him, and rested her chin in her hand, watching him work.
“Are these documents troublesome?” Olivia asked, looking at Orson.
“Not too troublesome,” Orson replied, shaking his head. “It’s just that a lot of tasks piled up at the start of the semester. This is the last batch. Once these are done, I’ll be free.”
“I see.” Olivia nodded. “I just finished my own tasks. Want me to help?”
“That... probably isn’t necessary. If you’ve finished your work, you should take a break.”
“No way. We’re a team in the Student Council, and we should help each other out. Isn’t that what you said during the meeting?” Olivia reminded him, taking a few documents and starting to read through them.
Most of the files were requests from various student clubs asking for increased funding. Orson had consistently denied such requests.
“Take this club, for example. It’s called the ‘Go-Home Club.’” Orson handed a document to Olivia. “They’re just a placeholder with no real activities, yet they’re asking for more funding? What a joke.”
“True.” Olivia nodded. “But some clubs genuinely need more funding, don’t they? Like the Magic Research Club. I’ve heard they manage to develop at least one new spell or innovative use for an existing spell every year.”
“I’ve looked into that club before. It’s true they’re productive, but their current funding is already sufficient. Any extra funds just get spent on parties and gatherings.”
“Fair enough.”
Thanks to their teamwork, they finished what had been scheduled as two hours of work in under an hour.
With the work done and ready to head home, Orson stretched and prepared to stand up.
At that moment, Olivia moved behind Orson and pushed him back into his chair.
“Olivia, what are you doing?”
“I didn’t help you just so you could leave early, Orson.”
With that, her fingers pressed into his shoulders, and she began to massage him gently.
Though her technique was a bit clumsy at first, she quickly found the right pressure points, and Orson couldn’t help but relax under her touch.
Orson closed his eyes, enjoying Olivia’s massage.
“How is it, Orson?”
“Not bad. Did you learn this from someone? Or have you practiced on others before?”
“Nope.” Olivia shook her head.
“Well, you’ve got talent. You’d make a great masseuse,” Orson joked.
“Pfft, only you, Orson, would think to compliment a noblewoman on her talent for massage,” Olivia said, laughing.
“Haha, I guess that’s a bit inappropriate,” Orson admitted with a chuckle.
Realizing the atmosphere was starting to feel a bit off, Orson quickly stopped Olivia.
“Uh, Olivia, maybe we should stop?”
“Why? Don’t you feel good?”
“No, no, it’s very comfortable. But if someone comes in and sees this, it might give the wrong impression.”
“Hmm?” Olivia tilted her head. “The wrong impression? Do you mean it’s inappropriate for an engaged couple to have this kind of interaction?”
She emphasized the words “engaged couple.”
“Or are you saying it’s crossing a line for the Vice President to massage the President because he’s overworked?”
“Uh...” Orson hesitated.
Technically, giving a massage is a somewhat ambiguous gesture—it straddles the line between friendship and romance.
Close friends might do it, and it’s even more natural between romantic partners.
Of course, Orson didn’t believe Olivia saw him as a romantic partner.
So, was Olivia testing his self-control?
He had told her before that he wanted them to interact as normal classmates while at the academy.
This gesture, while slightly intimate, wasn’t something he could object to without making it seem like he was overthinking it.
What if he brought it up, and Olivia responded with something like, “I just wanted to help you relax,” followed by a smug look and, “Didn’t think you’d interpret it that way. Orson, have you fallen for me? How cute~”
Wouldn’t that make him look ridiculous?
After all, he was the one who had insisted on maintaining a normal relationship, only to be the first to break his own rule.
With that in mind, Orson decided to endure it.
Besides, getting a massage from a beautiful girl wasn’t exactly a loss.
Just then, the door opened.
Executive Director Manuel stood at the entrance, looking at Orson and Olivia. He froze for a moment before awkwardly clearing his throat.

“Uh, President, Vice President, I’ve finished my tasks for the day. If there’s nothing else, I’ll head out.”
“Mm.” Orson nodded. “Thank you for your hard work, Executive Director. The Disciplinary Department must have a lot going on right now. Make sure to rest and don’t overwork yourself.”
“Thank you for your concern, President.” Manuel said, closing the door and leaving the office.
Orson sure is living the dream, Manuel thought as he walked away. The academy’s two most popular sisters—he’s engaged to the younger one and getting massages from the older one. Is he planning to have both? Truly a golden child of fortune.
Shaking his head, Manuel quickened his pace, leaving the Student Council building.
After the door closed, both Olivia and Orson sighed in relief.
Olivia had informed the others not to come to the President’s office unless necessary, but she had forgotten to notify the Executive Director.
She had assumed Manuel would leave after finishing his work, not that he would stop by to say goodbye.
Thankfully, nothing happened during that time that could have led to an even bigger misunderstanding.
