Chapter 806: 806 My Hero Academia: A Secret with Mirko, New Student in Class 1-A, A Visit to All Might, and Returning Home with Lady Nagant, Midnight, and Ryukyo.

With the end of the sports festival, people began leaving U.A.

Aizawa had decided to postpone the search for Allen and returned to the classroom, accompanied by the students of Class 1-A. Only to find Allen sitting relaxed at his desk, greeting them as if he had nothing to do with the commotion he had caused.

The search for Allen ended abruptly, but everyone could only accept it.

How did Allen get here?

What happened with Mirko?

Did something else happen?

Questions that didn’t receive immediate answers.

Aizawa decided not to waste energy interrogating Allen and instead called the other teachers who were still searching for him to inform them of his location, which made them angry—especially Lady Nagant and Midnight.

Both women had a lot to talk about with Allen, but Aizawa convinced them to leave it for later, since at the moment he had several announcements to make before letting the students go home.

Unable to avoid it, both women accepted.

Several girls also looked at Allen suspiciously and with dissatisfaction when they entered the classroom, but they postponed their questions and the class resumed.

....

Aizawa’s gaze swept across the classroom before he felt the urge to sigh in laziness.

"As you may remember, due to the villains’ attack and the sports festival, the transfer of students between classes had been postponed. However, now that everything has passed, and taking into account the performance during the festival, it has been decided who will go to Class 1-B..."

The tension increased for everyone. Several weeks had passed since Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu arrived and Rikido Sato left, and they had almost forgotten about it.

No matter how well they got along with the others, they were still forced to prove they were better than their classmates.

"Aizawa-sensei!" Tenya Iida raised his hand. "Although I didn’t oppose it at the beginning, don’t you think this method is counterproductive?"

"Continue," Aizawa said.

"We’re constantly reminded that heroes don’t work alone and that we should trust our classmates."

"That’s right," said Momo Yaoyorozu as she raised her hand. "Aizawa-sensei, how are we supposed to trust our classmates if you make us compete against each other?"

"It’s an experiment..." Aizawa replied. "Heroes trust others. That’s why they work in agencies. That’s why they look for mentors. It’s very rare for a hero to work alone—even All Might had a sidekick in the past. However, what this method seeks is forced competition in individual strength."

Aizawa sighed.

"Take the previous invasion into account. There were hundreds of professional heroes there, but only a few among them were at the level of those villains."

"I see," Allen said, leaning on his desk with a bored look.

"Do you have something to add, Walker?" Aizawa asked coldly. He was starting to believe Allen had completely lost respect for him.

"When was the last time the top ten heroes actually changed?" Allen shrugged under everyone’s gaze. "Every year there are graduates from U.A., and from other hero schools too. That’s dozens—maybe hundreds—of professional heroes nationwide every year. But how many of them are a Hawks? A Best Jeanist? Or even another All Might?"

Everyone fell silent.

All Might had been the number one hero for many years, and no one had come close to replacing him. The same went for Endeavor and other top heroes. There hadn’t been much concern about it until now—and that was true for most people.

But not for this class.

This class knew that All Might was weakening.

All Might wasn’t eternal...

The government knew it. The commission knew it. The professional heroes working at U.A. as teachers knew it. It was only a matter of time before Japan lost its Symbol of Peace.

"It’s natural to think that Endeavor will be the next number one hero," Allen said while glancing at Shoto Todoroki. "Regardless of whether he can fill All Might’s shoes, the question would remain—who would become the number two hero then?"

Aizawa nodded.

"That’s right. It may seem unfair, but the reality is that times of peace, new training methods, and modern facilities have made raising professional heroes less complicated. However, it’s very rare for top-tier heroes to appear in this era... that’s what Principal Nezu is aiming for—a generation of top heroes."

The students who heard that once again felt pressure—but also excitement.

Aizawa glanced at Allen, who seemed mostly uninterested in the conversation. Then he coughed and looked toward the door.

"You can come in now."

The door opened, and a familiar face entered for many of them. This sudden appearance made Katsuki Bakugo stand up from his seat with bloodshot eyes.

"Why are you here?!"

"You’re very noisy..." said Neito Monoma coldly while looking at Bakugo.

"Wait, sensei," Todoroki frowned. "If we’re talking about performance, shouldn’t Setsuna Tokage—who went further in the tournament—be the one chosen?"

"Hmph," Monoma snorted.

"It wasn’t only the sports festival that was taken into account," Aizawa said. "Their performance over these weeks was also evaluated. Even though others advanced further in the tournament, Neito Monoma’s previous performance, along with his ability during the second test, earned him the spot this week."

Todoroki didn’t comment further.

With Monoma in class 1-A, it remained to be seen who would go to class 1-B.

The classroom was filled with nervousness. Even Toru Hagakure secretly took Allen’s hand. Allen reassured her, since he was certain it wouldn’t be her.

"Koji Koda, stand up."

Koji sighed as he stood up. His gentle personality and Quirk made him likable, but his performances had also been discreet compared to others in the class.

"Koji!"

"Koda-san?"

"It can’t be..."

"Don’t worry," Koji said with a smile. "I’m just going to the class next door. I’m not being expelled. Besides, I’m glad it’s me. I’m not really suited for this."

A small bird landed on his shoulder as he spoke. He truly wasn’t someone made for the elimination-style competition they were under.

Koji said goodbye to everyone and left through the door. Outside, Sekijiro Kan was already waiting for him.

"Monoma, take your seat," Aizawa said.

Monoma didn’t sit immediately. On his way, he smiled condescendingly at everyone.

"Sensei, would you mind if I say a few words?"

"Huh?"

Aizawa suddenly became intimidating. It was one thing for Allen to lose respect for him, but if any student thought they could do whatever they wanted, that was unacceptable. Did he need to expel students like in previous years to restore discipline?

"I’m sorry," Monoma said nervously, deciding to apologize.

"Tsk, whatever. Just hurry up."

Monoma looked at everyone. His eyes landed on Bakugo with mockery, on Todoroki with indifference, on Izuku Midoriya with disdain, and finally on Allen with seriousness.

"I know there are stars in this class, but I—unlike the previous two before me—spent more time with that class, so I should warn you."

Monoma’s eyes flashed coldly.

"Don’t get too full of yourselves. Class 1-B is strong, and they’ll be coming for your heads..."

After declaring that, Monoma walked to Koda’s seat and sat down.

....

The atmosphere in Class 1-A was heavy, something Aizawa understood. But it was inevitable, considering that this generation was experiencing something that had never been implemented at U.A. before.

"Not everything is bad news," Aizawa said, drawing everyone’s attention. "You must all be tired. There will be no classes for the next two days."

The mood improved immediately.

The hero course at U.A., while interesting and exciting, was also extremely demanding—especially this year—so a short break wouldn’t hurt them.

"The second piece of good news is something that will make you happy."

Aizawa began writing on the board. When he finished, several students stood up from their seats with shining eyes.

— Code Names —

"Today you revealed yourselves to the world and showed what you can do in front of everyone. It’s time for you to start thinking about your first hero name!"

"Alright!"

"Awesome!"

"Finally!"

"I’ve been waiting for this!"

Aizawa cut off their excitement.

"Don’t get ahead of yourselves. This is for later. You have two days to think about the name you want to be recognized by."

"Is it something we decide ourselves?" Allen asked in confusion. Generally, he was used to hearing that the press gave heroes their names—something very common in Marvel and DC.

"Before speaking, raise your hand, Walker... and yes. It’s one of the benefits of being a professional hero. In general, heroes can choose their names, and the press takes care of spreading them. Unlike vigilantes, who often get their names from the public."

"Oh..." Allen became thoughtful. He had never really considered the topic.

A superhero name?

To begin with, the reason he entered U.A. was that all the students of Class 1-A and the teachers were relevant to whatever story governed this world. However, he was slowly walking the same path as them, which meant he would inevitably become a professional hero in this world—unless something changed.

"You don’t like the idea?" Aizawa asked.

Allen shrugged.

"I’m not sure yet."

"You don’t need to feel pressured. Many heroes change their names at their debut. There are even some who don’t choose one during their time at U.A."

The class ended, but Allen did not return immediately. Instead, he apologized to the girls who were waiting for him and went somewhere else.

....

Before returning home, Allen visited All Might in the infirmary.

When he entered the room, All Might was already feeling better, and it was only a matter of resting before he could return to action.

"Young Allen," All Might said with a smile.

"Once again in an infirmary bed. At this rate they should build a personal room just for you," Allen teased.

All Might didn’t take offense and instead laughed. He preferred this to people feeling pity for him.

"It’s good to see you’re doing well too," All Might said before teasing him back. "I thought by now you would have died after being stabbed by women."

Allen sat down in a chair and shrugged.

After chatting for a while, All Might began talking about the villains that All For One had brought with him.

"I hope you’re careful—not just with All For One. His followers are dangerous too," All Might said with a frown. "The first one is Wolfram. He’s a villain who leads a criminal organization. Somehow he grew stronger thanks to All For One and is now a top-tier villain."

"You have history with him?" Allen asked.

"Yes. In the past, I defeated many of All For One’s followers. They were all extremely dangerous villains. After years of battles, I believed I had left All For One without anyone he truly trusted—but apparently that wasn’t the case..."

"I see. But it’s not your fault. Someone like him will always look for people to control. It’s in his nature," Allen said while eating one of the apples from the gift basket next to All Might’s bed.

"Thank you."

Allen shook his head before continuing.

"The next one is Nine. According to Tsutsumi-sensei, he was the result of an experiment to replicate All For One. He has his limitations, but he’s still extremely dangerous."

"So he can steal Quirks too... that’s troublesome."

"Yeah. The next one is Flect Turn. He’s a terrorist villain who leads the organization Humarise—someone who shouldn’t be working with All For One since their goals are very different."

"Maybe he brainwashed him or something," Allen said without much concern. Once someone was labeled the leader of a terrorist organization, it was hard to feel any sympathy for them.

"...A man called Dark Might has also appeared"

Allen listened carefully, and when he left the infirmary, he felt strange.

Out of nowhere, several more special-class villains had appeared. Could it be Lucifer’s doing, or All For One’s initiative?

"Maybe I should just take them out as a vigilante," Allen muttered before walking away.

....

Allen headed toward U.A.’s entrance. He thought everyone had already gone home, but that wasn’t the case.

He was intercepted by Momo Yaoyorozu, Itsuka, Mina, Ochako, and Toru, who clearly weren’t going to let him escape without explaining his disappearance.

With no other choice, Allen took them to a karaoke place where he spent an hour explaining how Mirko had kidnapped him.

He didn’t mention the reason. He didn’t explain what happened between them.

In the end, that only made the girls even more suspicious—but without proof, they had no choice but to let him go.

The only thing Allen was grateful for was that, because of Rumi’s kidnapping, they seemed to forget why they had captured him in the first place.

Of course, Allen paid for everything as a gesture of sincerity.

Even so, there was a silent exchange of glances between the girls. Obviously, none of them had forgotten the previous issue, but they knew Allen wouldn’t answer honestly under these circumstances.

That didn’t mean they were going to give up.

....

On his way home, Allen spoke with the system. For now, he didn’t start another livestream because he was tired of interrogations.

[As expected from "The Womanizer," a hero capable of defeating any villainess or heroine without effort~]

"Don’t joke about that, System," Allen said with a shiver. Despite his shamelessness, he definitely didn’t want to end up with a name like that.

Rebecca – Why? I think it suits you perfectly~

Not forgetting that the Dolls could hear the System’s voice, they joined the conversation.

Harley – Oh! It could also be "Big Daddy."

Anemone – That actually fits him, although it sounds like a pimp’s name, haha.

"I refuse!"

Jalter – How about "Stud Bull"? Hahaha.

Esdeath – What about "The Big Stallion"?

"That’s enough... What kind of dignity would I have if I called myself that?" Allen rejected the idea outright.

Artoria – Just use your last name. That’s what you always do.

Wednesday – That’s true. "Walker" already sounds like a code name by itself, although it wouldn’t be bad to add a second word, like "Death Walker" or "Strong Walker."

Allen remained silent, surprised that it wasn’t actually a bad suggestion. In the end, everyone would probably call him Walker anyway.

Harley – How about "Dick Walker"?

"Harley, you’re grounded..."

Harley – Noooo!

Allen sighed.

"What a hassle. In the end I should probably just choose my last name and be done with it..."

Bocchi – Um... what about... ****

"..." Allen listened silently to Bocchi’s suggestion, and it actually made him smile.

"Not bad."

....

In an alley, a criminal carrying a bag of money was knocked down and slammed into a dumpster.

"That’s as far as you go!" shouted a hero in silver armor.

"Damn it! This isn’t your city, Ingenium!" the thief growled before his body filled with fur and he transformed into a giant gorilla.

The gorilla roared and attacked.

Ingenium activated his thrusters, similar to those of Tenya Iida, but located on his elbows.

He dodged the punch that smashed into the ground and broke the pavement, then kicked the villain in the chin, knocking him down.

The young hero removed his helmet and smiled.

"I came to congratulate my little brother."

This was Tenya Iida’s older brother, Tensei Iida, known professionally as the Turbo Hero: Ingenium.

"Hypocrisy..." a cold voice echoed from above.

Tensei looked up and saw a man with a red scarf watching him from the rooftop. The man carried two short katanas and one long one.

"It’s illegal to carry weapons in public areas," Ingenium said, already on guard.

"Fame... money... prestige... this world is filled with false heroes who profane the true essence of heroism. They must all be purged!"

The man jumped from the roof while unsheathing his katanas, and Ingenium activated his Engine. Even before facing him, he knew this man was extremely dangerous.

"Show me your blood!"

....

Meanwhile, Allen arrived at Lady Nagant’s apartment.

But as expected, when he opened the door, Kaina and Nemuri were waiting for him with their arms crossed and deadly expressions—like wives who had just caught their husband cheating.

Allen had already prepared for this conversation, so he smiled at the two women.

"I’m back."

"You won’t escape this time..." another woman’s voice said from behind him.

When Allen turned around, he was surprised to see the dragon heroine Ryukyu. It seemed the two women had called for reinforcements.

"My, you’ve grown... although not in the way I would have liked," Ryukyu said with a dissatisfied look.

"..." Allen smiled ironically. It seemed that today he had not only met the third of his guardians, but the fourth as well.

"Allen, what happened with Rumi?" asked the short-haired blonde woman with piercing eyes.

Allen could feel the heavy atmosphere in the room, and of course, there was no way in the world he could tell the truth.

In his mind, memories of what had happened with Rumi in that room resurfaced, and he knew that if he told the truth, an apocalypse would break loose.
