I Reincarnated as the World's Worst Healer-Chapter 67: Caught in the Frost Goblins’ Fury (2)
Ebony, at that moment, standing in front of a pair of pale goblins, watched in horror as they began to transform.
Their bodies, once small with thin arms, started to change. She could hear their muscles tearing and fusing inside until they formed massive bodies nearly eight feet tall.
White hair spread across their forearms and legs, while the rest of their bodies swelled with enormous muscles and bluish skin, along with thick manes and beards that barely revealed their faces.
"So I guess... we’re doing this the hard way, huh?" Ebony asked with irony, letting out a short laugh before taking a direct punch that sent her flying through the air.
Several meters up, the blonde braced for impact, crashing through the roof of a house and breaking several ribs as she fell inside. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
However, she instantly spoke her spell, and her body began to heal. As she pushed herself off the floor, she saw a goblin family in front of her.
A mother, who looked like any other male with an improvised dress, holding a baby wrapped in white cloth, lying on the ground; and a father holding an empty wine bottle, standing in front of them. All silent as they stared at the intruder who had fallen into their home.
"No, no, no, don’t worry about me, I’m fine. You guys just keep doing your thing... Don’t worry, we’ve all experienced domestic violence, I don’t jud—" Before she could finish, the wine bottle smashed hard against her face.
Ebony screamed as shards of glass embedded into her skin, but without wasting time, she leapt out through the hole she had made when she crashed in.
The girl began running across the rooftops while pulling glass from her skin. As she jumped to the next house, she heard a roar and saw the goblin couple emerge from their home, fully transformed into their final forms, chasing their prey.
"Damn it..." the blonde muttered as she kept running across the stone rooftops, getting closer and closer to the edge of the cavern.
"(If I reach the cave, maybe I can buy some time. Those bastards won’t be able to follow me being that big. Besides, we left the chest there with my backpack and the magic staff. I don’t know how useful it’ll be, but it’s better than nothing... And the sack’s there too...)"
Ebony thought as she fled, but unfortunately for her, with every house she stepped on and every roar her pursuers let out, more and more goblins joined the chase in their enhanced forms.
"Shit! Shit! Shit!... Stupid goblins!" the blonde shouted, fearing for her life, as twenty Frost Goblins in Yeti form trailed her just ten meters behind.
However, Ebony was only about five houses away from the cavern’s edge, close to reaching her precious chest with the rest of her belongings.
But the goblin mother from earlier, still holding her baby wrapped in dirty white cloth, let out a terrifying laugh and hurled the baby toward Ebony, who flew like a cannonball and slammed into the girl’s back.
The impact sent the blonde crashing into an alley between two houses. Without hesitation, she got up to continue running, but the goblin baby leapt onto her back and bit into her shoulder.
That small, pale creature with sparse white hairs on its bald head was a Mini Goblin: an individual born with a small body that, despite appearances, was more ferocious and agile than the rest of its kind.
"Damn it, get off me, you little bastard!" Ebony shouted as she tried to grab the tiny creature, which scampered over her body like a rat, biting her flesh.
Finally, she managed to seize the slippery thing by the neck. But before she could finish it, she watched in horror as the Yeti goblins dropped from the sky above her with growls and laughter.
"Well, at least they’re having fun..." the blonde muttered before diving aside, dodging their savage landing that cracked the ground and sent up a cloud of dust.
The rest of the goblins chasing her across the rooftops rushed into the dust cloud and began striking whatever was in front of them, which turned out to be their own comrades, who retaliated, igniting a brawl among blue idiots in the middle of the haze.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Ebony escaped the alley and reached a wide street filled with goblins working at makeshift forges and others pretending to shop with torn bags, carrying rubble or trying to eat ice apples.
"To hell with this, I’m just getting out of he—" But before she could finish, the Mini Goblin leapt onto her back again, biting her arm like a disobedient dog. "Damn it, let go!"
She quickly shook off the small attacker and bolted, chased by every goblin on the street, some in Yeti form, others in their medium forms.
"(Damn it, this just keeps getting worse... There’s no way anyone survives this!)"
Through fear and frantic thoughts, she managed to climb the hill and reenter the stone passage. The massive attackers couldn’t fit inside, blocking the entrance for a moment due to their clumsiness.
The deeper she went, the darker it became, until she saw the faint glow of her Fire Crystal. Beside it was the chest with her belongings.
But laughter and growls echoed through the tunnel, the smaller goblins had managed to get inside.
"(Okay... okay, think, think, idiot, think... How do we get rid of all those morons?)" the blonde muttered urgently as sweat trickled down her temple.
With no other choice, she opened the chest and grabbed her magic staff, the one given to her by the army to amplify her spells, holding it in one hand and the Fire Crystal in the other.
"(I hope this works...)" Ebony thought, swallowing hard before deactivating the crystal’s glow.
One by one, goblins rushed in, trying to strike her with their clubs, but thanks to the darkness, they missed each attack.
Dodging them, Ebony sprinted toward the passage entrance. When she arrived, she saw a mass of Yeti goblins crowded and frustrated, unable to enter, their transformation lasting only ten minutes.
But just as she felt a flicker of hope in her plan, she saw goblins being hurled aside one by one by powerful blows from their new leader: Marcus had arrived.
"Heh... Of course, why not..." Ebony thought as she watched the enraged old man forcing his way through, so with one final smile, she decided to bet everything on her plan.
"Hey, you piece of shit old man!" the blonde shouted, catching the old man’s attention, who looked surprised at her boldness for getting so close. "FUCK YOU!"
Ebony then hurled the Fire Crystal, as large as a giant potato, toward the entrance, and as it flew through the air, she pointed her staff and shouted with all her strength.
"Heal!"

In an instant, all the magic contained within the crystal was expelled, and a massive explosion erupted, collapsing the entrance completely.
