Without wasting any time, Adrius and Lysander jumped back together, their movements sharp and perfectly synchronized as they withdrew from the immediate threat.

The moment they disengaged the pressure at the front surged violently, the Chaos God sensing the shift and lunging forward with renewed ferocity.

"Arty, Saeldir, let us go to the front line," Sylmira called out through the roar of battle.

They moved at once.

Saeldir took the center without hesitation, planting his feet and driving his presence into the ground like an anchor. Sylmira swept to his left and various symbols already flaring to life around her arms, while Arty slammed into position on his right, gauntlets glowing as elemental power surged through her stance.

Behind them, Adrius and Lysander halted and spread apart slightly, forming the core of their casting formation.

The air around them thickened immediately, Magic compressing and bending inward as they began the first phase of Celestial Binding.

King Gulben, Adrien, and Billy watched from the rear, forced into stillness.

King Gulben leaned heavily against a fractured pillar of earth, his jaw clenched in frustration as he felt the battle continue without him.

Adrien steadied himself with shallow breaths. His eyes locked on the front line and his fists tightening every time the Chaos God lashed out.

Meanwhile Billy remained half-seated against broken stone, Aurdis's stabilizing Magic still faintly pulsing through his body as he watched in tense silence.

The Chaos God did not wait for them to finish.

She surged forward, tentacles exploding outward in a storm of black and pink mass.

Saeldir met the first wave. Layered and interlocked angular barriers snapped into existence in front of him, absorbing a powerful attack that sent shockwaves rippling through the ground beneath his feet.

Sylmira followed instantly, her hands carving precise patterns through the air. Compressed Magical lances detonated against the Chaos God's limbs a moment later, forcing them aside before they could coil around Saeldir's defenses.

Each of the attacks landed with surgical precision, tearing chunks of corruption away before they could fully regenerate.

Arty roared as she charged into an opening, smashing through a descending tentacle with both gauntlets.

The impact reverberated through her arms, but she pushed forward anyway, punching again and again with flares of elemental power, keeping the Chaos God's attention locked firmly on the front line.

Behind them, Adrius and Lysander entered deeper concentration.

The battlefield noise dulled around them as the Celestial Binding took shape. Complex sigils layered themselves in midair, rotating slowly as vast amounts of Magic energy poured into the forming array.

More sweat beaded along Adrius's brow as he guided the structure, his hands trembling under the strain that kept mounting.

Lysander stood rigid beside him, his yellow lightning still crawling faintly along his arms as he stabilized the flow, ensuring the energy did not spiral out of control.

The Chaos God sensed the danger.

Her attacks grew wilder and more aggressive. Tentacles slammed down in rapid succession, cracking Saeldir's barriers and forcing him to reinforce them again and again.

Sylmira staggered as backlash rattled her body, but she steadied herself and kept casting. Her teeth clenched as exhaustion crept into her limbs.

Arty took a glancing hit that sent her skidding across the ground, but she rolled, rose again, and threw herself back into the fray without hesitation.

Time stretched thin.

The ground split beneath repeated impacts. Black mist churned violently as the Chaos God tried to break through the defense. Her laughter was still echoing in broken and distorted bursts.

Each second she fought, her regeneration slowed slightly, the continuous pressure preventing her from fully stabilizing.

At the rear, King Gulben tightened his grip on his sword, every part of his body screaming to return to the fight.

Then the moment finally came.

The sigils behind the front line snapped into perfect alignment. The oppressive pressure of Magic energy locked into place, no longer chaotic or unstable.

Adrius opened his eyes.

"It's ready," he said with absolute tone.

Lysander nodded, lightning fading from his arms as the final ringed structure of Celestial Binding solidified behind them, poised to descend.

Then the air screamed as the powerful sealing spell descended.

Golden rings of runes burst into existence behind Adrius and Lysander, vast and impossibly intricate, rotating in opposite directions as blinding light poured from their edges.

Each rune burned with symbols older than kingdoms that locked into place one after another. The pressure of their rotation crushed the air inward, as if forcing the battlefield to bow beneath their weight.

Adrius raised both hands and brought them down slowly. Lysander mirrored him.

The rings surged forward.

A radiant column of light slammed down from the sky, striking the Chaos God dead center. The impact shook the ruined world. The ground caved inward beneath her as the beam pinned her massive body in place, searing through layers of corruption.

Her shriek could be heard across the battlefield, laughter breaking apart into raw fury as black and pink mass boiled violently within the light.

But of course she would fight back.

Tentacles lashed upward, slamming against the column, but every strike dissolved into sparks the moment it touched the radiance.

The light intensified, growing denser and stronger, until it felt like gravity had been weaponized against her.

"Now," Adrius commanded.

Chains of light erupted from the rotating rings.

They snapped outward with explosive force, wrapping around the Chaos God's limbs, her torso, and her writhing neck. Each chain embedded itself deep into her body, runes burning as they tightened, locking her movements one by one.

Wherever they touched, corruption evaporated and they screamed in terrifying and chaotic manner.

The Chaos God thrashed violently, carving trenches through the earth despite the binding. Her regeneration surged in desperation. Her flesh knitted only to be burned away again as more chains wrapped tighter and tighter.

Sylmira screamed as backlash slammed through her and Saeldir braced, driving his barriers deeper into the ground to keep the front line from collapsing under the sealing pressure.

Arty planted her feet beside him, gauntlets crossed as she held the line through sheer force of will.

Behind them, Adrius and Lysander began the final chant.

Their voices overlapped, ancient words spoken in perfect unison. The runes flared brighter with every syllable and the rings accelerating until they blurred into circles of pure gold.

The chains responded and pulled inward, dragging the Chaos God's body into itself as the light condensed.

Her roar shattered into a distorted echo.

The column of light collapsed inward, folding around her. The chains fused together, sealing every opening as the runes buried themselves into the surface of the forming prison.

With a final thunderous pulse, the light snapped shut.

Where the Chaos God had stood now hovered a massive golden cocoon, its surface etched with rotating runes and glowing seams of contained power.

The laughter was gone. The battlefield fell into stunned silence as the cocoon stabilized, radiating controlled and absolute suppression.

Adrius dropped one knee to the ground. His breath tearing from his lungs as the last of the chant left his lips.

Lysander staggered beside him, his Magic power fully extinguished as exhaustion finally claimed its price.

The Celestial Binding was successful.
