I Picked the Useless Class… Turns Out It's the Most Broken in the Game-Chapter 52: She Finally Got Serious.
It connected with her jaw cleanly, and a loud CRACKING sound came when they made an impact together.
Rex swung his axe in a huge arc towards her torso.
Lynx shook her head instantly, making the pain fade away for a few seconds as her blood grew hotter inside her head.
She driftily kept her feet on Aren’s knee, pushed onto it and swiftly leaped into the air and dodged Rex’s axe.
Her hands lifted in the air, and engravings appeared next to them as a portal opened above her head.
A being appeared through the portal. Its body was completely made out of fire, white hot veins were pulsing through its gold core, which was in the middle of its chest.
Some of its flames were hovering in the air, which were extinguished when they came into contact with the low breeze of air. That was the body of a spirit.
Rex gulped, his forehead was entirely covered with sweat, and his voice came out low. "She finally showed that to us, huh?" He said.
Aren was stunned, his body froze in one place as he trembled slightly, but he gathered enough strength to finally speak. "Yeah... we should get serious about this now, dude." He said, a smile appeared on his face.
But before they could both think about doing something else, a status window appeared in front of their eyes, shimmering brightly with its translucent blue waves.

Lynx directed her hand towards the place where both of them were standing, and said. "Kill them."
The spirit gave a nod and dashed forward towards them.
Rex shot forward first, blocked the spirit with his axe as they both clashed.
His voice came out loud. "Leave this to me, you go fight her." He said.
Aren didn’t think twice before dashing towards Lynx, he took deep breaths to calm himself to think rationally.
Lynx’s grip tightened on her staff, waiting for him to confront her.
Aren’s fist shot forward, and Lynx blocked it with her staff. The impact made the shockwaves leap through their surroundings.
"How can you block my attack while being a mage?" Aren said, using more of his force as he pushed her down a bit.
A bead of sweat appeared on her temple, a smirk tucked up on her lips as she said. "I’m 50 levels higher than you, you idiotic barbarian." She said, lifting her leg up as she kicked right into the gut of Aren.
Aren’s force was halved, his mouth opened slightly as he coughed saliva out through his mouth.
Lynx lifted her hand as she tried to grab his neck, but Aren jumped backwards before she did.
"You think you’ll be able to win against me all alone?" She asked, a cheesy smirk remained on her lips.
"You think I’m alone?" Aren said, a loud chuckle escaped through his mouth.
Lynx’s voice came out loud, almost a shout. "Have you finally gone senile?" She said.
But before she could do anything else, she coughed out blood. Her eyes drifted towards the screen, which just appeared in front of her.

Her eyes drifted towards Rex, who was now walking towards them, and there were no kind of signs of her spirit familiar.
"H-how the fuck did you defeat my spirit that easily?" She muttered under her breath, wiping her blood.
Rex didn’t say anything, he just stood right beside Aren and grabbed the handle of his axe with both of his hands.
"I’m finally sick of this..." She said.
"I’ll end it in one move, either you both will die, or I’ll die." She said her body started to hover in the air once again.
The air around her suddenly grew hotter, it was heavy enough to make breathing almost painful.
Cracks started to appear from the ground beneath their feet, glowing slightly red as molten fire rose from within.
Flames burst out through the cracks as it flew towards her, creating a wide burning zone around her.
Her eyes turned completely white, she had lost her consciousness, and the only thing that remained was her fire.
Rex’s voice came out deep, firm. "Aren, leave the battlefield and meet with the rest of the guild." He said, his grip tightened even more.
Aren’s gaze suddenly shifted towards him, voice came out loud. "Are you fucking kidding me? You want me to leave you here all alone just to die?" He said, grabbing Rex by his shoulder.
Rex didn’t say anything for a while, but then his voice came out low and firm. "Don’t worry too much about it, just leave." He said.
Aren punched the ground beneath his feet, and the cracks in the ground grew bigger as the molten fire shot out through it.
He moved towards the route and started walking, he didn’t look behind for even once and just kept walking.
After travelling for a while, he reached the enemy’s camp.
Everyone was there, waiting patiently for him and Rex to arrive.
Aria walked towards him. She noticed the burn marks on his clothes.
Her voice came out low, but the authority was mixed into it. "Where is Rex?" She asked.
His gaze fell on the ground, he wasn’t able to mutter even a single word.
She put her hand on his shoulder, shook it slightly and asked once again. "I asked something of you." She said.
