I Picked the Useless Class… Turns Out It's the Most Broken in the Game-Chapter 48: Why are They Not Replying?
Leon grabbed the sword with both of his hands, his grip tightened slightly as his eyes remained stuck on Orrix, trying to figure out what he would do next.
Orrix started stomping his mace on the ground, the ground next to him cracked by the force of his swings.
His eyes completely filled with his blood, and the sclera of his eyes turned crimson in colour. The aura around him started to get heavier, and red mana waves started to flow through his body.
His hair started to hover in the air, his veins popped up through all of his body parts, muscles stretched as his clothes tore.
Leon gulped, and sweat formed on his temple. ’That’s it... my first death in this game.’
Orrix planted his foot deep inside the ground and let out a roar that made every voice around them disappear.
The red mana around him compressed violently, flooding into the mace until its surface glowed like that of molten iron.
And then, he vanished into thin air.
’Wait, he disappeared?’ Leon wasn’t able to catch Orrix’s speed with his bare eyes.
Leon moved his eye from one area to another, looking at each spot, from trees to bushes, but he wasn’t able to find any trace of Orrix.
Before he could do anything else, Orrix crashed down next to him, the mace descending in a brutal, straight arc.
The earth’s ground caved inward, and a monstrous shockwave erupted outward, tearing through everything which came into its path.
Leon got thrown back by the impact, that attack of his split the battlefield apart.
Leon’s vision started blurring.
’Fuck...’
"You’re late, Aria and Zane," Owen said, his voice deep.
Aria shook her slightly, her clothes were covered in blood. "It seems like it, doesn’t it, Zane?"
Zane gave a slight nod, looking at all of the people who were gathered there.
Most of the members of Aetherfall were there, but some of them were missing.
Zane’s voice came out low, concern was getting reflected by his tone. "Where are Rex and Aren?" He said.
Aria’s voice came through, it had authority in it. "Also, that guy Ragnar, he’s also missing." She said.
"But before that, let me ask you all something," Aria said, but then took a small pause.
Looked at every member who was present there, and then continued. "Did you guys also encounter the players of the guild Oblivion?" She asked, her arms crossed next to her chest.
One by one, they all nodded.
Aria hummed slightly, her eyes remaining emotionless. "Hmm, I think they got the quest to join the Moon’s Faction."
She raised her hand slightly, squeezed her palm and formed a fist. "How the hell did they interpret our plan?"
A small sigh escaped through Zane’s mouth as his voice came out loud. "Let’s wait for them to come, yeah?"
Aria touched her eyes with her fingers, sighing lightly. "Let me contact Aren via Guild Chat." 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

A vein popped up through her forehead, her eye twitched slightly as her voice came out loud, and anger was getting reflected through her tone. "Why the fuck is their guild chat disabled?" She said.
Bran, who was standing silently next to a tree trunk, finally stepped forward as he said. "Let’s not lose our temper, yeah? Give them some time, they’ll come back."
A small sigh left Aria’s mouth. She started taking deep breaths, trying to calm herself. "Yes, you’re right. We should not hurry, it’ll just make us panic."
Orrix’s eyes were filled with rage, he was not in his senses anymore. He rushed towards Leon, who was still on the ground, unable to gather enough strength to get back up.The dark mana sword of his also disappeared into the thin air.
’Fuck I can’t gather my strength anymore. I feel like I just got crippled once again...’
Orrix’s mace got covered with crimson mana, the waves were flowing out through it without any limit. He was about to swing it downwards, his swing was directed towards Leon’s head.
But before he could land the hit on him, his mace stopped mid-swing.
Leon’s vision started to get blurry, but before he lost his sight, he saw a man standing in front of him.
"Well, you see." The man said, voice deep.
"This kid is my master, and I can’t let him die," Draviel said, his voice deep as always.
"So, it means that you have to die, mortal."
He lifted his hand, directed it towards Orrix’s head.
Orrix was still in berserker form, he was accumulating all of his strength to snatch his mace back from Draviel’s grip.
But he failed miserably, the mace didn’t even budge even a single inch.
"You’ve got quite a nerve to try and use your idiotic strength in front of me," Draviel said, directing his finger towards Orrix’s head.
He flicked his finger once, and it connected with Orrix’s forehead, the impact of it sent him flying towards the trees.
Orrix crashed into the tree trunks and fell to the ground.
But he got up instantly, dashed right away towards Draviel, his grip on his mace tightened, and his red mana covered his mace once again.
He swung his mace in a big arc, directed it towards Draviel’s head.
But Draviel didn’t even dodge the hit, he just stood there and blocked his mace with just one of his fingers.
"Is this it? Is this the strength of humans? So pitiful." He said, voice deep.
