Olana sucked in a cold breath of air, while her body shivered faintly from time to time. The raw power represented by those black-grade bones was intoxicating.

She kept examining the bones while sending them back to her family in groups and batches, knowing that on the other end of the line, her family members were likely in an even deeper state of shock than she was.

According to her family's highly regarded evaluation members, the amount of bones Hye had sent over was staggering.

The value was beyond comprehension for a mere mortal or even a lower-tier world; it was enough to pay for one hundred thousand artificial planets or even more. The sheer weight of that wealth had fundamentally shifted the power dynamic between Hye and the merchant family.

The initial plan was for Olana to give him the planets and collect the price later, essentially acting as his creditor. Yet who could have known that he would leave them so heavily indebted to him instead!

He had turned a debt into an investment, and in doing so, had secured the loyalty of one of the universe's most powerful trading houses.

"My family sends their highest regards," Olana said, her voice carrying a mix of professional respect and genuine awe. Watching her act and behave like that—transitioning between a shrewd merchant and a stunned ally—had been a source of amusement for Hye for quite some time.

He watched her until she finished the tedious process of sending the bones through the secure channels and concluded her urgent conference with her family elders. "They promise to keep hunting and searching for those artificial planets with every resource at their disposal. They won't stop until your order is filled."

"Thanks for that," Hye simply said, his tone casual as if he hadn't just moved the equivalent of a galactic treasury. He returned his focus to the holographic map floating in front of him, the light of distant stars reflecting in his eyes.

"We are close to another hot zone. This time, it looks like there is just one path ahead of us. No flanking manoeuvres, no side routes."

"As if that will stop you," she chuckled, her professional mask slipping away. She walked toward him and slowly sat on his embrace, her presence a warm contrast to the cold calculations of the war room. "So, will you play dirty and sneaky like you did before? Another round of illusions and shadow-play?"

"Ah, no need for that," he laughed, the sound echoing through the command deck. "I learnt something incredibly valuable from the previous hot zone. Something I should have realised much sooner."

"Which… is…" She prompted, her words trailing off in an intentionally slow and sultry manner. She reached up, touching his face with the very tips of her fingers, her eyes searching his.

"Why lean over useless tricks and complicated tactics when everything can be solved with just a simple and direct approach?"

"Which… is…" she whispered again, leaning closer. She came so close that her lips were mere breaths away from his, the air between them thick with tension.

"A simple show of power," he smiled. He reached out, gently touching her head and brushing her hair with his fingers, before painting a soft kiss over hers. It was brief and firm. "But there's no time to waste in playing lovey-dovey now. Come, we have hot zones to conquer!"

He didn't wait for her to move on her own. He simply gathered her body into his arms, carrying her easily before laying her back over her own seat. Then he turned around and walked away with steady, purposeful steps.

His full attention was now fixed on how this new hot zone would respond to his arrival. He knew it was too fast for news of his previous victory to have travelled here through conventional means.

Besides, simply conquering one hot zone and acquiring the allegiance of a few tens of worlds wasn't a big enough event to shake the entire universe just yet.

However, he knew that sooner or later, the entire universe would hear about his deeds. Every new hot zone would eventually expect his visit—and he wanted them to be terrified of it.

Hye had grown a little greedy; he didn't want this snowball of influence to stop rolling just because of his eventual departure for the outer battlefield.

To make sure this flywheel would continue to spin even in his absence, he decided to use everything under his disposal right from the start! He wasn't going to save his strength for a rainy day. Today was the storm.

"He is really adamant about putting on a good show," Olana murmured. From inside the flagship, she leaned leisurely over her seat, watching the live broadcast that was already spreading all over this sector's communication channels.

She had partially misread what Hye wanted to do. She had mistaken his actions to be limited to the specific list of hot zones he planned to visit before going on his expedition. The thought never even crossed her mind that Hye had set his gaze far beyond that horizon.

To her shock, he began deploying his fleet. He took out a vast number of his ships—all the outer universe vessels he had collected, and almost half of the massive ships that belonged to this universe.

The grand show of power was spectacular enough to stop the heart of any observer. His space power alone was now composed of ten grand fleets of varying ship classes, forming a steel tide that blotted out the local stars.

On top of that, he didn't just send empty hulls. He filled them to the brim with his Soulers and Reapers, plus thousands of his seasoned warriors to operate the complex systems. The show didn't end there; in fact, it was just starting.

"Move out," Hye gave the order, his voice carrying the weight of a god. "Go and crush any fleet you meet. Make sure to conquer everyone you encounter, except for those worlds' fleets that show immediate submission!"
