I Only Wanted A Class In The Apocalypse-Chapter 1812: More Brilliant Suggestions!
"I don’t need to explain how hard it is for any small sized, or even mid-sized force in the universe to get their hands over the U.stat crystals," Major dropped such bomb, one that no one ever paid attention to, including Hye, "if we managed to widely produce these crystals, then we can easily rope in lots of these forces to our side. Hell, we can even..."
"Establish lots of trading deals with them! We can add a few later on under our kingdom’s influence! That’s brilliant!!" Hye said in a very loud tone, while slowly standing off his seat, "that great suggestion Major! I can’t believe I almost forgot about that!"
Hye struggled for a long time to acquire these crystals. Even his relationship with the Toranks didn’t help at all. He had to venture outside into the universe, go into lots of wars to get these crystals. If not thanks to the fruitful encounters he ended up with, he would still be suffering like how it was at the beginning!
Recalling such frustration and hard to solve problems of the past made him realise the real value of such chance. And Major didn’t stop there!
"I know you are very new in the universe, but I can fill this gap easily," Major felt this was also a golden chance for him to strengthen his position in Hye’s rising power and kingdom, "I know lots of medium sized forces like my people! I even have lots of connections with smaller sized forces! I can easily write down a list of hundreds of such kingdoms and can establish contact with them!"
"That’s more than perfect!" Hye’s eyes shone in a fierce light, "from now on, you’ll be responsible for our relations with those forces!"
"I’ll do my best," Major resisted the urge to laugh, as he finally achieved what he hoped for, even better. Such a position was destined to let him amass lots of influence in the future of Hye’s force. Not to mention there wasn’t a single threat from any of the closest friends to Hye!
It was simply the most ideal outcome for someone like him! And to Hye, he was the perfect missing piece that his kingdom needed the most!
"Yet all depends on how much crystals Hye can give away," Lily looked at Hye, and the latter didn’t instantly answer her.
Of course, these plans looked amazing on paper, but everything depended entirely on how he could produce the U.stat crystals from his crystal heart. Hye took the heart out, inspected it for long minutes, while everyone stood silently watching and waiting for his response.
"I still don’t have enough," Hye already used lots of the crystals recently, and yet there were tons of trees there, "I’ll need to work on gathering the bones, and also need time to plant and harvest the crystals. I’d say a couple months will be enough time for us to be ready."
"That’s... Very short duration," even Major felt like Hye was rash in deciding such a time window, "don’t you need much longer?"
"Not at all," Hye paused, "we also need to solve another problem, we can’t simply trade these crystals individually, we need a brand to distribute these crystals, and it can’t be attached to the kingdom..."
"I can help with that," the lady nymph spoke up, "we can use our underworld pirate force to establish a trading group, or even a small impact. Then we can distribute our crystals easily from there."
"That won’t do," the first to object was the pirate king himself, "even if we have a good reputation now in the underworld, most of the normal forces in the universe won’t make any deals with a force like us."
"That’s true," Major stepped, "and we can’t just label our top product with an outlaw force. However, I can do it!"
"Your meaning?" Hye examined Major up and down. He thought Major would be satisfied by what he accomplished so far, yet it felt like he was like Hye, had a bottomless pit of ambition!
"I need to take over my kingdom," Major knew he was gambling by what he said, yet his tone didn’t show any speck of nervousness, "let me take over my people, and from there I can establish a trading group that belongs to me."
"This..." Hye didn’t imagine that Major would use such a chance to get revenge on his people. And yet when he moved his eyes around, he couldn’t find a suitable candidate to do this except for Major.
"Yet you must know this before you decide," Major cleared up his throat, "if you are going to help, then you’ll just provide me with normal ships and races. You can’t take part in this war, you can’t use any of the signature forces like Soulers, and for sure you can’t send any of your well-known generals with me!"
"..." Hye knew that Major cut almost all of the things that sat him apart from any existing force in the universe, and yet Major was right. "If we are going to do it this way, then it’ll be a long war, one that I can’t promise to win fast!" 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
"I disagree with that," Major didn’t stay in Hye’s territory idly in the past few months. He kept studying everything, and he already had a plan in mind, "I was the top general in my people before I left, and I took away almost all capable generals and army with me when I came here. Not to mention, I know the ins and outs of my kingdom, I know the strongest and weakest areas there."
Major’s words weren’t arrogant, instead he calmly said all this. And before Hye or anyone else would disagree, or express their doubts, he started to explain the plan he had in mind.
He took out maps and started to explain his kingdom’s territory in great detail. He wasn’t simply expressing a desire or a rough sketch of a plan; he was giving meticulous details about what could be considered as a feasible war plan!
