I Just Wanted to Be a Galactic Hunter—Why Am I on the Wanted List?-Chapter 263: Requirements
Loren stood calmly before a door and raised his hand to knock.
Seven seconds later.
The door opened from inside.
A security personnel dressed in a black suit opened the door, instinctively sized Loren up, and then his pupils suddenly contracted.
Loren, in his working state, exuded an unconsciously dangerous aura that instilled a momentary sense of terror in the other man.
It was an oppressive pressure only possessed by dangerous individuals who had roamed dark zones for years.
"Sir, you've come to..."
Before the man opposite could finish his sentence, Loren's large hand shot out with incredible speed and directly clamped around the other's neck.
A gentle twist!
The man's neck bent at an extremely bizarre angle, nearly ninety degrees!!
Loren's right foot tapped lightly, and he charged into the temporary lounge with an exaggerated speed.
Locked on by his immense mental power, the high-rank individuals in the room had nowhere to hide.
Aside from Councilor Huck, who was a Ninth-rank Martial Artist, there were five other high-rank Superhumans in the room.
Charging into the room, Loren launched precise attacks at these five high-rank Superhumans!
Crossroads of Fate—Activate!
Loren's mental power instantly pulled these five high-rank Superhumans into the Illusion Space!
Then, the five unconscious Superhumans were like lambs ready for slaughter!
Loren's figure flickered five times in succession, and five headless corpses collapsed onto the floor!
"Ahhh!!!"
Several piercing screams rang out!
Some of the female administrative staff in Councilor Huck's team, upon witnessing the horrific scene in the room, let out screams of extreme terror!!
Because Loren was unwilling to overly expose his Psychic Ability, he did not wait for the Misfortune attack of "Crossroads of Fate" to activate. Instead, within two seconds, he used his own fists to pulverize these five high-rank Superhumans!
For unconscious human targets, what Loren needed to do was simple!
Close in! Raise his hand! Throw a punch at their heads!
It was precisely Loren's act of shattering the five heads with his fists that caused these female administrative staff to scream with utmost fear!
After these five heads were shattered, the resulting mixed liquids spilled onto the people in the room at the opportune moment.
These disgusting liquids, interwoven with crimson and white, also happened to splash onto the faces of some female administrative staff...
Hearing the screams beside his ears, Loren's brow furrowed slightly.
"Shh! Quiet, ladies, if none of you wish to die."
Soon, Loren's words took effect. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
As his voice fell, the disheveled ladies in professional attire had their mouths forcibly covered by the people beside them.
If threat was a special negotiation technique, then Loren was certainly deeply versed in it.
The room returned to silence.
Satisfied, Loren nodded.
Then, he turned his gaze toward the blond, blue-eyed man sitting on the sofa at the room's center.
"Sir who comes with malice, for what purpose have you come?" A magnetic and charismatic voice sounded.
Even with such a tragedy occurring in the room, Councilor Huck's face remained calm, his tone unhurried.
Hearing this, Loren gave a light shrug, tapped his foot, and instantly flashed behind Councilor Huck, raising his palm to strike the back of the other's head...
He intended to knock the other unconscious and forcibly take him away.
Loren didn't waste any words, nor did he have the habit of conversing with someone destined to die...
However, what made Loren somewhat awkward was...
This was his first time trying to knock out a Ninth-rank Martial Artist. Afraid of accidentally killing the other with too much force, Loren had lightened the strength in his hand a bit...
This resulted in him, not having mastered the force properly, failing to knock out Councilor Huck...
Instead, it made Councilor Huck turn his head and loudly protest:
"You are too rough!! Unknown sir, where are you taking me? Don't harm the people in my team, I can go with you!!"
"Apologies, I'll be more careful."
Once again, Loren raised his palm with extreme speed and struck the back of the other's head!
"You!!!" Councilor Huck still wanted to raise his hand in resistance.
Unfortunately, having long been entrenched in politics and somewhat neglecting combat, his resisting movements were full of flaws, appearing like slow motion in Loren's eyes.
Loren extended his left hand and very easily grabbed the other's right arm that was trying to resist.
Then, Loren raised his other hand, formed a palm, and swiftly and accurately struck the back of the other's head!
Councilor Huck's eyes rolled back, and he slumped limply onto the sofa.
Loren looked down at his own palm, muttering somewhat puzzledly:
"This time, did I use a bit too much force..."
What's done was done. Loren could only shake his head and console himself.
"It's fine, he'll wake up later..."
Then, Loren skillfully bent down, hoisted the heavily unconscious Councilor Huck onto his shoulder, and walked toward the door.
It must be said, when it came to carrying people, Loren was quite experienced...
"Wait! Sir, where are you taking Councilor Huck?"
A somewhat tense female voice sounded in the room.
She was Councilor Huck's secretary-assistant. Loyal to Councilor Huck, she believed she should at least know the reason for the kidnapping to better plan a rescue...
"Don't worry, madam. I'm just taking him to attend the Silver Radiance Festival. My apologies, due to unforeseen circumstances, this performance has to start a bit earlier."
After explaining with a smile, Loren walked out of the room carrying the unconscious Councilor Huck.
After taking a few steps out of the room, Loren seemed to remember something. He retreated back into the room and very considerately reminded everyone:
"Oh, right, you can watch the upcoming Silver Radiance Festival live stream in the room. I hope you'll enjoy this performance..."
With those words, Loren's figure left the room again.
Only this time, he did not return...
He was in a hurry to complete Ms. Carnina's first commission.
"Publicly assassinate Councilor Huck at the Silver Radiance Festival, preferably making him feel pain!!"
As a qualified Interstellar Hunter, Loren always respected his Clients' requirements...
For Loren, excellent Clients like Ms. Carnina were rare.
A Client capable of placing two commissions consecutively was the first Loren had ever encountered.
For such an outstanding Client, Loren held their final wishes in high regard.
After all, in the distant Dusk Star Domain, a famous saying circulated:
"The final wishes left by the dead are half a point more precious than Spirit Stones."
Loren was a nostalgic person; he made an effort to remember these sayings.
In fact, Loren had already figured out how he would make this Councilor Huck feel pain later...
