I Have A Sword-Chapter 1324: Sword Scripture
Chapter 1324: Sword Scripture
Zhou Yan's eyes widened in horror. Hao Ran was a cultivator?!
She couldn't have imagined that the so-called disgrace of the clan could possess such extraordinary power. How and when did he become a cultivator?
"Hao Ran!" Hao Yuan rushed out, and his face was filled with fury. "What do you think you're do—"
Before he could finish his sentence, a wooden sword pierced his glabella.
The crowd was silent.
Ye Guan cast a cold glance at Hao Yuan. "Did you really expect me to believe that you had no idea what that woman had done?
"You knew what he had done, but you chose to turn a blind eye, as you wanted to secure her clan's support!"
Hao Yuan's expression darkened. He wanted to protest, but the killing in Ye Guan's eyes made his heart tremble.
Is this brat planning to kill his own father?!
Ye Guan ignored him and turned back to Zhou Yan. She glared at him with a twisted expression. "You dare lay a finger on me? The Zhou Clan will never let you go!"
The Zhou Clan was her greatest source of confidence.
Ye Guan stared lazily at her. "Oh no, I'm scared."
Swoosh!
Zhou Yan's head went flying. He was dead!
The servants collapsed in terror.
"Ah!" Hao Yuan roared in rage. "You little bastard!"
Ye Guan turned swiftly, flicking his fingers. Two wooden branches shot out, stabbing into Hao Yuan's knees. A sharp cry of pain rang through the air as he fell to the ground.
A father was kneeling before his son.
The crowd was dumbstruck.
Hao Yuan stared at Ye Guan in disbelief. "You... I'm your father—"
"Pfft!" Ye Guan chuckled. "This feels pretty damn good... Haha!"
Hao Yuan's face twisted in fury. "You wouldn't dare kill your father!"
Ye Guan blinked and said, "Not gonna lie, that idea does sound kind of thril—"
He immediately stopped himself. His father was no joke. If word got back to him, a serious beating was inevitable. It was best not to dig his own grave.
With a grin, Ye Guan turned around and walked away. The moment he stepped out of the Hao Estate, his surroundings blurred, and in the blink of an eye, he found himself standing in the middle of a vast starry sky.
Hao Ran was standing before him with a smile. "You surprised me."
Ye Guan smirked. "How, exactly?"
"Looking back, my past struggles were all self-inflicted." Hao Ran thought to himself. I was too weak, but I refused to bide my time and charged headfirst into danger instead. Who else could I blame for my suffering?
Shaking off his thoughts, he faced Ye Guan and said, "I made you walk my path to let you experience the despair I once felt, but I never expected you to shatter the entire thing."
Ye Guan hesitated for a moment before asking, "Senior, about our agreement..."
Hao Ran smiled. "I won't go back on my word. But my true body isn't here. This avatar... won't be that useful."
Ye Guan's eyes lit up. "Where's your true body?"
"Somewhere quite far from here."
Ye Guan's expression darkened.
Hao Ran chuckled. "No need to rush. I always keep my promises."
With that, he opened his palm, and a time-worn book floated toward Ye Guan.
Ye Guan frowned slightly. "What is this?"
Hao Ran said, "This is my life's work; it's a sword scripture. Study it well. When you've comprehended its depths, we'll meet again. At that time, I'll help you refine your Order Sword Dao. What do you think?"
Ye Guan sighed, but he had no choice but to nod. "Alright."
Hao Ran smiled. "We'll meet again soon."
Ye Guan nodded. "I'm looking forward to it."
Hao Ran studied him for a moment before saying, "Your bloodline... it's extraordinary. Two of them, in particular, feel unfathomable, even to me. Your origins must be remarkable."
Ye Guan grinned. "I'm just an average guy, but yeah, my family is pretty scary."
"You're too clever for your own good. You haven't suffered enough. A bit of hardship would serve you well."
Ye Guan's face darkened. No wonder you had a rough past, Senior, this personality of yours...
"Your Sword Dao is exceptional, but it still has weaknesses. I hope my scripture will be of use to you."
Ye Guan put away the book and bowed deeply. "Thank you, Senior."
Hao Ran nodded. "There's an unknown karma tied to you, and it spells tribulation for you. I've left a sliver of my soul inside that scripture. When your tribulation arrives, you can summon it, and if the circumstances allow it, my true body will personally come to your aid."
Ye Guan's heart stirred, and he bowed again. "I am deeply grateful, Senior."
Hao Ran's true strength was unknown to him, but he was certain of one thing—he was strong enough to stand toe-to-toe with Fan Zhaodi
And Fan Zhaodi... will come for me eventually. A battle was inevitable.
Hao Ran smiled. "Until we meet again."
Ye Guan grinned. "Until then."
With that, Ye Guan vanished in a flash.
As soon as Ye Guan was no longer around, a voice echoed from behind Hao Ran. "Is his enemy truly that formidable?"
Hao Ran's gaze pierced through countless star fields and went beyond the Sea of Suffering. After a long pause, he murmured, "More powerful than anyone I've ever seen."
His figure slowly faded away.

When Ye Guan returned to the library hall, he found that Shi Yu and Zhou Hann were still there.
Seeing the ancient book in Ye Guan's hands, Shi Yu's face was complicated.
Zhou Hann, however, lit up with excitement. "Holy Son, did you inherit True Saint Hao Ran's legacy?"
Ye Guan nodded. "Yeah."
Zhou Hann immediately gave a thumbs-up. "Incredible!"
Over the years, the Other Shore had produced many exceptional swordsmen. The Other Shore Hall had always hoped to nurture one strong enough to become a True Saint. A True Saint swordsman was a terrifying entity, after all.
Unfortunately, no one had ever earned Hao Ran's recognition. Without a True Saint's inheritance or the Other Shore Ark's divine will, breaking past mortal limits to reach the True Saint Realm was nearly impossible.
Ye Guan glanced at the sword scripture in his hands. After a brief moment of thought, he turned to Zhou Hann and asked, "Any movements from the Sea of Suffering?"
"None.' Zhou Hann shook her head. "But don't worry. The Other Shore Hall has people watching over it. If anything happens, we'll know immediately."
"Let's head into the pagoda and start training, then." Ye Guan turned to Shi Yu and asked, "Senior, you are a swordsman as well?"
"Yes."
"This scripture is incredibly profound, and it is impossible for me to understand all of it without spending a lot of time pondering its secrets. Would you be willing to study it with me and help me clarify some things?"
Shi Yu was stunned.
Zhou Hann was also taken aback, and she stared at Ye Guan with an indescribable expression.
Shi Yu looked at him in disbelief. "Are you... sure?"
Ye Guan nodded. "Of course."
Shi Yu felt a wave of complicated emotions. How could he not understand? Ye Guan was giving him a chance.
A True Saint's sword scripture was an invaluable treasure. For someone at his level, it could even hold the key to the secrets of the True Saint Realm. What shocked him most was Ye Guan's generosity.
Truly remarkable... Shi Yu knew that he wouldn't do the same if he were in Ye Guan's shoes. He took a deep breath and bowed slightly. "Thank you."
"No need to be so formal."
With that, Ye Guan led both of them into the tiny pagoda.
Zhou Hann walked up to Ye Guan and asked, "Can I take a look at it, too?"
Ye Guan glanced at her and asked, "Are you a swordsman?"
Zhou Hann shook her head. "No, I'm really curious."
Ye Guan raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you a scholar?"
Zhou Hann nodded enthusiastically. "Yep! The youngest scholar in the Holy Temple!"
Ye Guan chuckled. "Then come along."
"Yay!" Zhou Hann flashed a smile.
Soon, the three found a quiet spot. Ye Guan sat down and opened the sword scripture. The first line he saw said, "A sword allows one to be invincible among his peers and those beyond."
Invincibility among one's peers and those beyond!
Ye Guan's face became solemn.
