I Have a Dice Left by a God-Chapter 303 - 170: Blueprint of the Mother Goddess School
Li Xin lay on the bed in his room, reflecting that the situation was slightly different from their deduction, but overall it was similar. Boka and Bocuse were likely the same person, which wasn’t important; they were the number one Inner Demon.
If Bocuse was the number one Inner Demon, it would be difficult to directly judge him. It would be fortunate if they couldn’t determine it, because if they succeeded in determining it and triggered the power behind him to spy on them, it’d be over.
As for why the instigator Boka was unaffected, Li Xin believed it wasn’t because he successfully covered it up. There aren’t that many naive people, and the members of the Gourmet Association were probably old foxes. They faced the same issue as Boka. If he found a solution, others might turn a blind eye. If it worked, everyone benefited. If not, Boka took the fall, which was one possible outcome. Externally, one Alain Ducasse was enough to account for, and discussing humanity with the Hidden Power was inherently unreliable.
This world always likes to sacrifice kind people.
Although the target was clear, the problem persisted without evidence. Ma Liu couldn’t possibly come forward to point it out. Besides whether he could prove he’s Alain Ducasse, his current situation would only worsen if he got involved. The Gourmet Association wouldn’t let him off, and the Funeral Attendant probably wouldn’t care about his life and death.
With this lead temporarily broken, he could only look into the Mother Goddess School and wondered if Miss Aries could obtain the structure diagram of the Mother Goddess School.
Li Xin got off the bed, closed the window, and hung a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. As a future literary master, it was basic courtesy not to be disturbed during creation. He hoped the Dragon Mother and others could understand this.
Lying on the bed, he entered the Twelve Zodiac Star Disc, feeling a surge of confidence as he sat on the high-backed chair, his back unknowingly straightening. He wondered if Mr. Taurus’s problems were solved. Mr. Cancer... he felt a little guilty; he’d praise him more next time. He also wondered if Leo had successfully returned to Divpo City. Among everyone, Mr. Leo had the hardest time. The social structure of Divpo City trapped them, not only with murmurs but also class restrictions.
Li Xin touched Miss Aries’s star and waited quietly, staring at the statue and the pages on the table in front of him. What message were the words trying to convey?
The text looked very much like the language of a European country. Considering the pie reference, could it be Italian? If this speculation were correct, the Twelve Zodiac Star Disc must be closely related to Luthor. Was Luthor strong enough to leave marks on such a Divine Artifact?
Yet, he had a question: If he wanted to leave information for future generations and was unsure where they came from, why not use English?
In the Royal Palace of Hedan, Estella was accompanying Queen Kelly on a walk in the garden. The beauty of the mother and daughter made the flowers pale.
Queen Kelly usually dressed simply, not interested in jewelry.
From talking about food to the recent sensation, "The Vengeance and Righteousness on Utopia Mountain," which Queen Kelly surprisingly also enjoyed, the novel perspective and story felt refreshing, touching upon the most basic emotions of love and hatred. "Mother, could Hedan have such wrongful cases too?" 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
"Yes," answered Queen Kelly.
"Ah?" Estella was surprised by her mother’s decisive response.
"Silly girl, the most complex thing in this world is people. Where there are people, there will be disputes. Even with the best standards, if the people implementing them are problematic, it’s meaningless," Queen Kelly explained.
"Why can’t good standards be implemented?"
"Self-interest. People have self-interests, and the benefits of breaking the rules are significant. There’s always someone willing to take the risk."
"Father wouldn’t; he’s the fairest, even stern with me!" Estella said proudly. Despite her father’s strictness, she admired him deeply, enduring even Amosa’s bullying. To her, her father was the best King of Moncalleta.
Kelly touched Estella’s head without speaking. Accomplishing a purely noble task was very, very difficult for anyone, even a King.
Estella hesitated, wanting to mention the Inner Demon, but swallowed the words. Though she prepared extensively, she felt she couldn’t hide anything from her mother.
Suddenly, she felt her Magic Ring vibrate, the signal she and Mr. Gemini agreed upon; he was calling her.
"Oh, Mother, I just remembered the Grand Scholar’s assignment is unfinished. Chatting with you sparked inspiration," Estella said.
Kelly smiled, "Go ahead."
Estella gracefully curtsied and bounced away from the garden, accelerating once outside with her maid quickening steps to keep up with the Princess’s fiery pace.
Back in her palace, Estella hurriedly prepared, lying on her bed with a book in which a map was folded, then entered the Twelve Zodiac Star Disc.
In the Twelve Zodiac Star Disc, just as Li Xin, who had been waiting for a while was about to leave, he suddenly felt the star light up, and then Miss Aries appeared.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Gemini."
"Good afternoon, Miss Aries, sorry for disturbing you."
"Mr. Gemini, I obtained the blueprint you requested. Would you like me to have Chris deliver it to you?" Estella asked. Even if Mr. Gemini hadn’t contacted her at noon, she had planned to reach out to him in the evening.
Li Xin knew having the original would be better, but it was troublesome. "I’ll try to memorize it. It’s best to return the original to avoid discovery."
This matter could be quite dangerous.
"The original has been returned. This is my copy," Estella proudly declared. "I’m not just a flower-arranging Princess; drawing a map is a small feat for me."
"That’s great. I’m at the Lirong Inn," Li Xin said. Chris was likely Miss Aries’s Messenger.
"Mr. Gemini, any new developments lately?" Estella asked, eager to participate and concerned, fueled by her strong sense of Justice.
"Currently, the number one Demon is linked to the Gourmet Association. The mastermind is the Grand Elder Boka, whom I suspect is the renamed Bocuse. However, the Gourmet Association seems to have reached an internal consensus. They’re attempting to find a new Hidden Path with Dark Cuisine, but we lack direct evidence to prove this point."
Estella was also startled, knowing her second brother loved such cuisine and intended to take her someday. With a Demon so closely linked, and her father assigning him the case, wasn’t this his chance to earn credit? She needed to catch the Demon to prevent further harm to Hedan’s people.
"Mr. Gemini, I’ve learned that the Church Court possibly contributed during the Mother Goddess School’s construction, suggesting potential secret mechanisms inside," Estella warned. "The Church Court was meticulous due to Father’s request to build it. They wouldn’t expect its misuse for evil, but their power is formidable; exercise caution."
"Thank you, Miss Aries. I’ll be careful. The main goal isn’t confrontation; it’s obtaining solid evidence. Ultimately, capturing them falls to the Funeral Attendant and the Church Court. They can’t make the first move. Avoid direct conflict and hope it’s a false judgment," Li Xin said, secretly wishing his suspicions were unfounded.
Estella understood the risks. Discovery would lead to significant trouble. The Mother Goddess School had a big name, and it was not unimaginable to be charged with desecration. Mr. Gemini was heroically pursuing Justice, and as a Princess, she couldn’t idly stand by.
"Mr. Gemini, I have a Secret Item here that can completely change a person’s appearance and aura. Although it has some use restrictions, if you need it, I can have Chris bring it to you," Estella offered. Her teacher gifted it to her; giving it away was permissible.
For Li Xin, a Secret Item like this was invaluable. But Miss Aries had already helped immensely; he couldn’t be so shameless. "Thank you. It’s unnecessary now, but I won’t hesitate if I do need it."
"Not at all! I should thank you. Mr. Gemini is doing Justice’s work!"
As the stars’ movement reached its end, they glanced at the dome and stood up.
"See you next time, Miss Aries."
"See you next time, Mr. Gemini."
