I hacked through the chaotic world with my blade-Chapter 1461 - 350: Glory, I Am Truly Shrouded in Glory_4
Lin Fan was in an exceedingly good mood.
He gazed at the zombies shambling through the city, all of whom would soon be cleansed by the energizing Frostmourne. For these zombies, it was a form of release.
"Hey, zombies."
Lin Fan shouted at the top of his voice.
"Gruh gruh"
"Gruh gruh"
As his voice spread outwards, the zombies in the city went completely berserk, their mindless eyes betraying an endless ferocity.
One by one, they charged at Lin Fan like ravenous wolves.
Standing atop a building, Lin Fan looked down upon everything, slowly drew out Frostmourne, raised his hand, and aimed the sword straight at the distance. In an instant, the color of the blade changed, and countless threads roared out eagerly, immediately spreading towards the zombies below.
Frostmourne had been enhanced without end, and its power was self-evident. From once being a Simulated Divine Artifact to now being a true Divine Artifact, all it had ever done was accompany Lin Fan in the endless cleansing of zombies.
Ordinary zombies had no fear of the spreading threads, but some higher-level zombies thought of escaping the moment they saw those approaching threads.
Though they appeared to be running fast,
in the eyes of those threads, they were like snails.
"Let it be me to restore the glory of the city. Although it can’t be as prosperous as it once was, the future city must be free of zombies." 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
Lin Fan quietly watched the zombies in the city being devoured.
A moment later.
The spreading threads gradually returned to Frostmourne, the blade’s color turned silvery-white, and as the tip lightly touched a building, frost spread and covered everything. In an instant, the entire city was covered in ice sculptures. With a crackling sound, the frost shattered the dead zombies’ bodies into ice shards, scattering them everywhere.
"What a beautiful scene."
Lin Fan sincerely praised.
The cleanup in the northwest area was complete. His next destination was the southwest area.
He took out a map. On it, the cities in two of the three areas had already been circled, leaving the cities in the southwest area looking very clean, uncircled.
The first city in the southwest area.
Huan City.
"Hmm?"
Lin Fan looked at the city before him, frowning. In a city that hadn’t been cleaned, not a single zombie was present.
This made him somewhat puzzled.
Upon closer inspection, he discovered that the streets of the city bore traces of blood and numerous broken limbs.
He descended to the ground, where there were no signs of battle, as if nothing had been cleaned. Besides, he had never heard of any human other than himself who could clear a city of zombies.
Suddenly.
He heard something in the distance.
"It seems if I want to find out where the zombies in this city went, I need to go over there and have a look."
He quickened his pace toward the distant commotion, leaping and weaving through the buildings. In no time, he reached the scene, and what he saw left him momentarily stunned.
Between two buildings was a zombie with its mouth agape, its jaws alone tens of meters high, while the body behind the mouth was only four to five meters tall. Such an incongruous sight left Lin Fan baffled as to how the creature opened its mouth so wide.
The city’s zombies seemed entranced, lining up to walk into the abyss-like mouth.
Not wanting to alert the creature, Lin Fan raised his camera and captured the scene before him.

"Amazing, truly amazing. Clearly such a small body, yet that mouth opens so wide. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe it."
Lin Fan muttered to himself.
Once the photos were taken,
he cleared his throat, "Hey, what are you doing there?"
The sudden voice interrupted the Unknown Creator’s feast, the giant mouth snapping shut and shrinking rapidly, returning to a normal size despite its previous enormity.
The Unknown Creator looked in the direction of the voice and, upon seeing Lin Fan’s face, its complexion immediately changed drastically with shock.
"Human, Lin Fan..."
The Creator was intelligent. In this post-apocalyptic world, all Creators knew of Lin Fan and understood why there were so few of them left; it was because this detestable human had hunted them down.
"Hello, it seems you know who I am. Clearly, my reputation amongst you Creators has grown considerably during this time, and I’m genuinely honored."
Lin Fan spoke with a smile.
The zombies, untouched by the Creator’s fear, displayed no trepidation towards Lin Fan. Instead, they showed greed, eager to devour him as a delicious meal.
Without fear of the Creator’s control, the zombies ferociously rushed at Lin Fan.
Lin Fan didn’t even glance at them, lightly waving Frostmourne. The threads boiled, enveloping the remaining zombies, and in the blink of an eye, drained them to husks.
The Unknown Creator watched silently.
Its heart filled with unease.
It too was a Creator planning to flee, but reluctant to leave behind the zombies in the city, it thought of consuming them all to enhance its own power before scampering off.
Just as it was about to devour all the zombies, who would’ve thought Lin Fan would appear there?
It knew it might not escape now.
But it was equally unwilling to meet its end here.
"Indeed, your reputation precedes you; no Creator is unaware of your presence." The Unknown Creator responded, recalling a time not long ago when three Creators approached it, hoping it would leave with them.
