I Got Reincarnated as a Zombie Girl-Chapter 55 – Chaos in the Orc Village and Auto-Leveling
Chapter 55: Chapter 55 – Chaos in the Orc Village and Auto-Leveling
The sound of countless footsteps thundered across the ground.
HUD! THUD! THUD!
The once-peaceful grassy plains trembled beneath the weight of the approaching dead. Thousands of zombies surrounded the orc village nestled in the center of the open field. Among the horde, two massive, iron-skinned zombies—Tanks—charged like wild bulls, smashing through anything in their path.
CRACK! BOOM!
A wooden wall of the orc village shattered instantly under their impact, sending orcs screaming in panic. Without a chieftain to lead them, their defense was utterly disorganized. Some tried to fight back with crude weapons, but their formation was broken, and no commands could be heard.
I sat calmly on a thick tree branch not far from the battlefield. My body remained still, but my undead eyes observed the chaos below with sharp focus.Beneath me, Tyrant stood tall like a personal sentinel, unmoving. His arms crossed over his chest, his eyes vacant yet intimidating.
On the battlefield, three Hunter zombies moved like shadowy assassins. SLASH! SLASH! Their sharp claws tore through orcs with terrifying speed. Green orc blood splattered into the air, staining the grass and dirt below.
"GRAAAAAHHH!!!"A Witch’s shriek pierced the air, throwing several orcs into a state of sudden dizziness. Some dropped their weapons, stunned, and were immediately pounced upon by waiting zombies. One Witch even climbed atop an orc hut and let out a high-pitched scream:"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"
Meanwhile, the Licker remained hidden behind a bush. Its long tongue slowly slithered out, patiently waiting for an orc to wander within reach.
SWOOSH!A blazing fireball soared from behind the zombie lines. The Fire Zombie hurled another fiery projectile—this one larger than before. BOOM!!The explosion engulfed three orcs at once. Flames spread across the village buildings, triggering even more panic among the remaining orcs.
On the other side, the Water Zombie gently lowered its hand. WHIP! WHIP! Blades of water materialized mid-air and shot forward with lethal precision, slicing through two orcs with ease. The water it conjured was sharper and clearer now, its attacks like invisible shards of glass.
I swung my legs idly from the branch, watching everything unfold like a grand performance. Then suddenly—
DING!! Level Up! Lv. 41
"Huh?"
I frowned slightly in confusion. I hadn’t moved from this spot. I was just observing from above. But that notification was unmistakable. I looked down at the battlefield below.
My zombies... they were killing. And me? I was gaining EXP from it?
Then—
DING!! Level Up! Lv. 42
I froze for a moment, then quickly opened my status screen. My undead eyes widened as I read the small line beneath my title:
[Title: Queen of Zombie]While zombies under your direct command kill enemies, 20% of the total EXP will be transferred to you.
"...Wow."
That was all I could say.
I slowly closed the status screen. My legs still dangled from the branch. I smiled faintly—or rather, I smirked as usual, since my facial expressions were limited. But inside... I was thrilled. This was like discovering a gold mine.
"This is fun," I whispered to myself.
The chaos below only intensified. The panicked orcs ran in all directions, desperate to escape the incoming wave of death. But my zombies gave no room to flee. They were relentless, like a tide that never receded.
Tyrant still stood motionless. But his eyes narrowed slightly, as if silently judging the performance of his subordinates.
One orc tried to approach the tree I sat on—probably hoping to hide behind it. But before he could get close—
THWACK!! A massive axe cleaved into him from behind—thrown by one of the Tank.
I didn’t move. I just gave the Tank a small nod. It bowed quickly, then returned to the battlefield.
The air was filled with many sound
ORAAAH!! BOOM! CRUNCH! SKREEEEEEEE!! SSSSHHH—WHIP!
The scent of blood and fire blended into a strangely familiar aroma. I wasn’t bothered by it—if anything, I felt at peace. This was where I belonged. In the midst of corpses and ruin... I was queen.
I picked up a small twig and played with it, like a girl sitting in a quiet garden.
Level 42, and it seemed... this wasn’t the end. I could climb even higher. They fought for me. They killed for me. And me... I only needed to wait.
From a distance, a large orc tried to rally a group to mount a counterattack. But when two Tank zombies charged into the center of their formation—
CRASH!!!BAM!!!
Everything was reduced to dust and blood. There was no hope.
And once more—
DING!! Level Up! Lv. 43
I let out a soft, voiceless chuckle. The coldness that usually surrounded me was now replaced by something warm... oddly satisfying. Not hot. But comforting. Like pride.
I had been sitting on that tree branch for quite a while, enjoying the massacre like a privileged spectator. But after some time... it felt too quiet.I wanted to feel it myself. The blood, the screams, the madness—I wanted to be part of the chaos, not just observe it.
I slowly stood atop the branch, the breeze swaying my black hair."Enough sitting around," I murmured. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓
With a light step—WHOOSH!I leapt down.
Silent as a shadow, I descended gracefully and landed on the grassy ground, just a few meters away from a startled orc.The moment my feet touched the earth, there was a brief stillness—then it shattered—
CRACK!I kicked the first orc that dared to approach. Its neck snapped, and its body flew like a rag doll.
BOOM! Tyrant landed behind me with a thunderous crash, creating a crater under his weight. Towering and fearsome, he stood behind me like a loyal, unshakable demon sentinel.
"Come," I said without looking back.He didn’t need to be told twice.
I strode forward, weaving through the battle. My zombies instinctively cleared a path for me.To my eyes, this battlefield was a playground, and I was its queen.
A large orc charged at me with a spiked club. SWISH! With a flick of my wrist, my chain lashed forward—CLANG! The club was knocked aside, and the blackened chain coiled around the orc’s neck.
KRRAAAK! I yanked hard. The orc’s body lifted off the ground for a moment before slamming back down like a sack of meat.
Blood, Screams, Explosions. Together, they created a chaotic symphony—beautiful to my ears. And in the middle of it... I danced.
Meanwhile, Sofia had just finished wiping off sweat after training.
Unbeknownst to her, a portal had also appeared in the middle of her base.
Inside an old gym that had been renovated into a training hall for the elite troops, Sofia sat on a bench, wiping sweat from her temples. The hum of treadmills and the impact of punches from the other soldiers still echoed faintly in the background.
She wore a white sports bra and tight navy-blue leggings that hugged her athletic body. Her breathing was steady, though sweat still trickled down her neck and back. Her eyes were half-closed.
"Finally done..."
But that calm shattered in an instant.
VRROOOMMM!!
A deep rumble and shaking ground suddenly rocked the gym building. Concrete walls trembled violently, causing several workout machines to topple. Sofia’s eyes snapped open and she jumped to her feet.
"What the...?"
