Chapter 209: Return of the Beastlord

The silence in the meeting hall was suffocating. The crater Aamir had created still smoked faintly behind him, and the faint scent of scorched stone lingered in the air.

Aamir stood tall in the center, cloak in tatters, crimson eyes glowing faintly. Before him were the faces he had once fought and bled beside—Kunal, Raj, Riya, Seenu, Meera.

They stared at him with shock and raw emotion, their hearts thundering in disbelief.

Aamir broke the silence first. His voice was calm, steady, and carried weight that hadn’t been there five years ago.

"I can sense it in you... You’ve all grown stronger. Quite a bit."

He smiled faintly, lifting his head proudly. "But don’t worry. Now I’m here."

For his old friends, those words sparked tears and warmth—but for others in the chamber, the reaction was far more complicated.

King Luis of Valtania narrowed his glowing blue eyes, studying Aamir like a puzzle piece that didn’t belong. His mind buzzed with disbelief.

What in the abyss happened to this boy in five years? His presence... his strength... it surpasses nearly everyone here. Even me.

He glanced at King Hyun Min-Jae of Carnelia. The strategist adjusted his glasses, his expression unreadable.

Luis muttered under his breath, "You feel it too?"

Hyun Min-Jae’s lips pressed into a thin line. "Yes. He isn’t the same boy we knew. Something forged him... sharpened him into this."

Before anyone could speak further, Rizwana Gouri—the desert queen, her cloak of golden silk flowing behind her—stepped forward. Her eyes burned with fire.

"Listen," she said firmly. "I know this reunion means much to you. I know you’ve waited five long years. But sentiment can wait. We have more important matters in our hands right now."

Her words cut like steel. The warmth between Aamir and his companions dimmed slightly.

Riya bit her lip, then inhaled sharply. She turned toward Rizwana, her green eyes glowing faintly. "Yes... I know. The meeting must continue."

But then she straightened her back, her voice trembling with a decision she had held inside for far too long.

"Before we begin, I want to propose something."

Every leader in the room turned toward her. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

"I want to give my position... to Aamir."

The chamber erupted. Gasps, disbelief, even outrage.

Empress Tsukiko of Kyokai stepped forward, her violet kimono flowing, her fan tapping sharply against her palm. Her voice was like a blade.

"This isn’t how it works, Riya. You cannot simply give your position to someone who vanished for five years. How do we know he’s worthy? How do we know he hasn’t changed for the worse?"

Riya turned, her voice ringing with conviction. "Because I believe in him. Because I know him. You all saw it—how he blocked Seenu’s flaming strike with just one hand."

Seenu’s grip tightened on his katana. He said nothing, but a faint smile betrayed his agreement.

Rizwana stepped forward, her tone sharp. "One display of strength doesn’t prove worth. It could have been luck. What if he cannot do it again?"

Tension filled the chamber. Aamir said nothing, his gaze calm, his presence steady. But just as the debate was about to turn into shouting—

The heavy doors of the council chamber slammed open.

A soldier stumbled in, his armor cracked, his face pale with fear.

"Leaders! Emergency!" he cried. "A World Breaker–level beast has attacked the base! Please, we need your help—immediately!"

The chamber froze. The words struck like thunder.

Riya’s chair screeched against the stone floor as she stood. "Where? Tell me now!"

Seenu and Raj rose instantly, weapons already gleaming with mana. "We’ll go," Raj said firmly.

But then Aamir’s voice cut through the chaos.

"Wait. I’ll go."

All eyes turned toward him again. Rizwana’s eyes widened with fury. "You? A child? That is a World Breaker-class beast! Your friends barely survived encounters like that—how can you hope to defeat it alone?"

Aamir’s lips curved into a faint, dangerous smile.

"You’ll see."

He turned to the trembling soldier. "Which direction?"

The soldier lifted a shaking hand. "Th-that way..."

Aamir didn’t wait another second. His body pulsed with crimson Pran and blazing blue flame, and in the blink of an eye he vanished, sprinting so fast the air itself screamed.

Hyun Min-Jae’s eyes widened behind his glasses. "Was that... teleportation?"

Luis shook his head slowly. "No... that was raw speed."

The room stood in stunned silence for a breath, then Rizwana’s voice cut through the tension.

"Don’t just stand here. Follow him!"

In a wave, the leaders and Aamir’s companions surged out of the council hall, their auras blazing as they rushed through the city’s outer gates.

And when they arrived—

They saw it.

The World Breaker.

A beast towering higher than the walls of the base, its body a grotesque fusion of fur, scale, and corruption. Its crimson-gold eyes glowed like twin suns, radiating malice that pressed against every warrior present.

And in front of it, standing alone in the broken earth, his cloak fluttering like a banner in the storm—

Aamir.

He stood calm, his crimson eyes locked on the beast’s glowing gaze.

For a moment, silence ruled.

Then, with a low rumble that shook the heavens, the Beast snarled.

Aamir’s lips curved faintly. "So... you’re my welcome back gift, huh?"

The ground trembled beneath the World Breaker beast’s roar, the air shivering with its raw malice. Its massive frame loomed over the base, scales like black steel reflecting the pale light of the shattered moon above.

And then—more shadows moved.

One after another, hulking forms emerged from the forest. Ten, fifteen, nearly twenty beasts slunk into the open, each one Titan-class, their glowing eyes fixed on the fortress and its defenders. Their snarls rolled like thunder, a wall of sound that made even hardened soldiers falter.

Raj cursed under his breath. "More of them...? Just one is enough to end us, but this many—"

Seenu’s eyes sharpened, hand instinctively going to his sword. Riya’s fingers twitched near her staff, her breathing quickening. Even the kings and queens behind them felt the pressure.

But Aamir just... smiled.

He stepped forward, cracking his neck, cloak fluttering in the unnatural wind. His crimson eyes gleamed.

"Hmm. About level ten each... good. Plenty of toys to test myself with."

Gasps rose behind him. The word toys left more than one leader pale.

Aamir rolled his shoulders. "But as for you—" his gaze locked on the towering World Breaker, "—I don’t have time to play."

He slid one foot back, his aura condensing tight around him, vibrating the very earth beneath his boots. His right fist drew back, blue flames licking along his knuckles, crimson veins flaring as Pran and Adrenaline fused inside him.

The soldiers nearest him stared, horrified.

"What is he doing?!" one barked. "Is he—trying to punch it?"

"That’s suicide! Nothing less than a siege weapon can crack that shell!"

"Is he crazy?!"

But none of their voices reached Aamir. His focus was absolute.

The World Breaker lunged. Its massive head, armored in thick bone plates, drove downward like a boulder falling from the heavens. Its roar split the night.

Aamir struck.

BOOOOOOM!

The world went white. The shockwave was so violent it blasted dust and debris hundreds of meters outward, flattening trees and sending even the strongest werewolves staggering back. The ground split open like glass, cracks racing outward from the point of impact.

When the haze cleared, the impossible was laid bare.

The World Breaker’s head—its supposedly impenetrable shell—was fractured. Shards of its bone plating rained to the ground, smoking from the force. The monster’s colossal body swayed, stunned, and it collapsed to the dirt with a crash that made the entire battlefield shake.

It wasn’t dead—but it was down.

Silence.

Not a soldier spoke. Not a leader breathed. All eyes fixed on the lone figure standing in the crater, his fist still smoking, his body calm as if he’d done nothing at all.

Empress Tsukiko’s fan slipped from her fingers, clattering to the stone floor.

King Luis whispered, "He... cracked it. With one punch."

Hyun Min-Jae adjusted his glasses, his voice trembling despite himself. "That wasn’t technology... no weapon. That was raw power."

Rizwana’s lips parted, her proud, unshakable voice faltering for the first time. "This... boy..."

And Riya—her chest tightened, tears brimming. She had always believed. But even she hadn’t imagined this.

But Aamir wasn’t finished.

The downed World Breaker’s growl rose again. Around it, the Titan-class beasts howled, charging toward him in a frenzy, their claws tearing up stone and soil.

Dozens of tons of raw muscle and fury bore down on him.

And Aamir just raised one hand.

"Beastlord’s Domain."

The air itself seemed to collapse. Golden-crimson energy erupted outward, enveloping every beast in a suffocating wave of domination. The Titan-class creatures froze mid-stride, their bodies trembling as if crushed beneath mountains. Their howls died into whimpers, their heads pressing into the dirt, unable to even twitch.

Even the fallen World Breaker roared in defiance—only for spectral chains of light to wrap around its colossal frame, forcing it back down.

The soldiers watching felt the pressure too. Knees buckled. Some fell to the ground, gasping as if their very souls recognized the presence of something far beyond them.

One vampire lord whispered hoarsely, "This is... not power. This is... sovereignty."

Aamir walked forward slowly, calmly, his aura holding every beast pinned. His hand extended. One by one, glowing crimson marks burned into the beasts’ chests, searing them with the Beastlord’s Mark.

The Titans whimpered. Then—they submitted. Their eyes dulled, glowing faintly with his mark. Their rage vanished.

Finally, he stopped before the World Breaker. The monster glared up at him, still bleeding from its shattered skull—but when the mark seared into its chest, the defiance broke.

Its massive head lowered. Slowly. In submission.

And then—it bowed.

Gasps erupted behind Aamir. A World Breaker beast. Submitting.

Aamir placed a firm hand on its head, his voice steady.

"From today—you’ll protect this base. Understand?"

The monster rumbled low, a deep sound like thunder rolling through the earth. Then it turned, limping back to the walls, where it crouched like a sentinel, glowing eyes scanning for threats.

The silence that followed was deafening.

Every leader, every soldier, every ally stared at Aamir—not as a comrade, not as a boy who had returned after five years.

But as something else.

Something higher.

Rizwana finally whispered, her voice almost reverent. "Unlike us... he is not just a warrior."

Seenu’s sword hand trembled with adrenaline. "...He is... a king."

And Riya—her hand clutched her chest, her tears finally spilling as she whispered the words only she had always known.

"Welcome back, Aamir."
