I Go to the High Seas for Fishing But Get Hunted by an Aircraft Carrier-Chapter 976 - 975: Poster
After finishing, he left the house.
He didn't take the elevator but used the stairs, arriving at the third floor.
There's only one household in this building, inhabited by a woman in her forties. She's a simple and honest rural woman who works in the vegetable garden every morning and evening. She rarely goes out, so she's the only one at home.
Of course, her door is secured, and Ye Chen would need to enter the password to get in.
He took out the key, inserted it into the keyhole, and turned.
"Click."
The door opened in response.
The house was simply decorated yet warm. The walls were adorned with many posters and photos of various scenery, including beaches, flower fields, and some anime figures. All were very interesting things.
"These are things my mom left for me!"
A tender voice suddenly rang out, startling Ye Chen.
"Who are you?" Ye Chen frowned and looked inside the house.
He saw a thin little boy standing in the living room, staring at him warily.
He seemed to be about four or five years old, wearing a vest, shorts, and slippers. His figure was slender and appeared very delicate.
His delicate face, while not exceptionally beautiful, was above average. His lively eyes were like autumn waters, full of spiritual energy.
At this moment, the boy's watchful gaze fixed on Ye Chen, like an injured little beast.
His clothes, though old, looked strikingly handsome on him.
Ye Chen couldn't help but be amazed. This child was extraordinarily smart to remain calm under his gaze.
"Little brother, don't be afraid. I'm not a bad person. I'm Ye Chen, your fan, here to see you!" Ye Chen gently brushed the boy's head.
The boy stood still, just warily watching Ye Chen.
"Hey, don't be so cold. We're neighbors, don't you remember me?"
Ye Chen awkwardly touched his nose. This little guy was acting like he was fending off a thief.
The boy still ignored him, his gaze resting on the key in Ye Chen's hand.
Ye Chen handed him the key with a smile: "Look, this is my key. I'm your idol, come play at my house!"
The boy still didn't take it.
"Come on, why are you so stubborn? I bought this key!" Ye Chen sighed.
The boy finally accepted the key, then turned and headed inside, though he didn't respond to Ye Chen.
Ye Chen quickly chased after him, laughing: "Hey, don't be shy!"
Ye Chen followed the boy into the house.
Inside the house, there was a living room, a kitchen, and a bedroom door.
"Wow!"
"Such a beautiful house!"
As soon as he entered, the boy was immediately captivated by the house's amenities.
The décor style of the house was similar to that outside, but it was several times larger than those outside by comparison.
"Brother Ye Chen, the things here are too precious; I'm cautious about touching them. Please help me put them in the room!"
The boy handed the key back to Ye Chen.
Ye Chen said, "What's the harm? It's a gift I brought for you, you must accept it!"
"But..."
The boy still wanted to refuse.
Ye Chen directly interrupted: "No more objections, or I'll get angry!"
"Alright!" The boy hesitated but eventually agreed.
"Wait a minute. I need to take a shower, I'm all sweaty!"
Ye Chen said as he entered the bedroom, taking off his shirt and shorts to reveal his strong body.
"Gulp~~~"
The boy swallowed saliva, eyes glued to Ye Chen's chest muscles.
Ye Chen rushed into the bathroom.
A moment later, he came out wrapped in a towel, grinning: "Little brother, do I look good?"
"Uh-huh! You look good!" The boy nodded.
"Haha! I think so too. Wonder how many girls I've charmed, although I especially like watching little ones like you!" Ye Chen laughed. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
Upon hearing Ye Chen's praise, the boy's face turned red instantly.
"Can I call you Miss Sister?" The boy asked.
"Of course, you can call me Uncle Ye!" Ye Chen said.
"Alright!" The boy replied.
"By the way, what's your name?"
"I'm called Wang Xiao; that's the Wang from Wang Xiao and the Dawn from Wang Chenxi." The boy said.
"Good name! I'll remember that. Little Wang Chen, I'll call you Little Wang from now on!" Ye Chen laughed.
Little Wang Chen nodded slightly, indicating his acceptance.
"By the way, where's your mom?" Ye Chen asked.
Little Wang Chen pointed upstairs: "Upstairs."
Ye Chen laughed: "Then I'll go have a look!"
"Yeah!" Little Wang Chen nodded and then turned back to his picture book.
Ye Chen went up to the second floor, entered the room.
Inside the room, there were all kinds of toys, various cartoon dolls, and pretty little gadgets, giving an impression of abundance.
Indeed, living as a family of three, these people had unique tastes.
Ye Chen approached the bed, leaned over, and saw a woman lying there. Her appearance was ordinary, her figure thin, wearing gray cotton sleepwear.
She lay quietly, seeming to be in deep sleep.
Ye Chen glanced at her, then moved to the other side of the bed for another look. This time, he almost spat blood in shock.
Oddly enough, the woman had a blooming peony tattooed on her chest.
"Could this woman be a peony demon?" Ye Chen murmured to himself.
The peony demon, rumored to be a budding, radiant rose—a kind of monster that drains people's vital energy, turning them into plant people.
Such women could cause illusions for men and even confuse their minds.
If they wished to kill, a mere swipe of their sleeve could make it so.
Ye Chen dared not linger, quickly descended to the living room, and waited on the sofa.
Not long after, a sweet aroma wafted from the kitchen, attracting Ye Chen.
"Little girl knows how to cook, huh!" Ye Chen chuckled and shook his head.
He looked up and saw the little girl bringing out two dishes.
The little girl stood around 1.6 meters tall, with round cheeks, fair skin, an attractive figure, dressed in a black professional skirt suit, a cap covering most of her face, only her pretty eyes visible.
Ye Chen sized her up.
"Still haven't washed up? Not hungry for food?" The little girl asked, glancing at Ye Chen.
"Oh, okay, I'll wash up then!"
Ye Chen immediately ran to the bathroom.
When he came out of the bathroom, the little girl had already placed all the dishes on the table; the plates and bowls had been scalded with hot oil before being set on the dining table.
"Little girl, you know how to cook?"
Ye Chen, surprised at the little girl, had never seen her cook before, so he was curious where she'd learned so many skills.
"Of course, I know how to. Try it for yourself; my mom taught me!"
"I see! You should study well and find a good husband in the future!"
"What's a good husband?" The little girl asked curiously, blinking her eyes.
