I Fooled The Goddess Into Pitying Me-Chapter 51: Bitter (2)
Satisfying someone was the last thing on Jack’s mind. The only thing he wanted was to beat the crap out of Fortuna.
Just because he was a mortal, was he supposed to keep his head down and let these despicable goddesses have their way with him?
No... calm down. I need more answers from them.
With that thought, Jack let out a deep breath, concealing the storm in his heart. At least that’s what it seemed from the outside. The goddesses looked at one another, wondering what to do next.
In the end, Justa continued the tale.
"Everything was going fine, but then the gods found out what Fortuna had done," she said, crossing her arms. "They don’t want the goddesses to have children. But more than that, they don’t want a mortal like you stealing their place."
Just because they didn’t want to continue their bloodline, didn’t mean the gods would allow someone else to force green hats on them. It was natural, after all, just because a man is infertile, doesn’t mean he’d be alright with his significant other sleeping around.
However, their disapproval posed a threat to Jack’s well-being. He knew that much. If he could, he wanted nothing to do with these divine messes, but it was too late since they had found out about him.
It doesn’t matter if he helped the goddesses or not, they will try to get rid of him, regardless.
Nip the problem in the bud.
Fortuna noticed Jack’s expression and immediately rushed to soothe him. Perhaps it was because she felt guilty for getting him into this mess, or maybe she was worried he would refuse them. She didn’t know why, but she only wanted to help him now.
"You don’t have to worry," she said. "They can’t hurt you... directly. Just like he can’t help you directly. But they’ll resort to anything to get rid of you. For now, I don’t know what they’re planning since... the gods are in a sort of civil war against the goddesses."
"That’s why we summoned you," Justa continued. "to warn you and... speed things up a bit. The sooner you get used to a goddess’s body, the sooner we’ll be able to end the war."
Fortuna snapped her fingers, and Jack’s mouth reappeared. He rushed to feel his lips and only then did he relax. Not having lips or a mouth was a terrifying feeling that he never wanted to go through again.
The goddesses thought Jack would make a sarcastic comment, like always. Instead, he stared at them with indifference.
"Alright, I’ll help you."
The two goddesses let out a sigh of relief, but it didn’t last too long.
"Before that... could you tell me one thing?" he asked. "how long did you control my fate in my past life?"
Silence.
Neither Fortuna nor Justa said a word. They had only mentioned his past as a playboy, not the tragedies that had happened before.
Even Fortuna couldn’t change the absolute laws created by the older generations. Among them, the greatest was the Law of Balance, or as mortals called it, Karma.
It was a straightforward law.
No soul may bask in joy without also tasting sorrow.
For every rise, there must be a fall.
Thus, the scales of fate will remain unmoved.
That’s why, to give Jack the joy of hundreds of women, both his childhood and his death were made horrendous. Obviously, it, too, had been Fortuna’s doing.
She didn’t want to admit the truth, knowing Jack would back out of their deal if she did. However, her silence served to convey her thoughts on the matter.
Jack let out a self-deprecating laugh before getting off the throne. He felt thankful for all the revelations. Now, he had no doubt in his mind. Since they wanted him so much, he would willingly fulfill their desire.
"Alright, who will it be?" he said, his eyes moving between Fortuna and Justa.
The goddesses didn’t expect Jack to accept their request so quickly and were thrown off balance. It was a bit humiliating to think a mortal threw them off the track, but Justa quickly balanced herself and snapped her fingers.
A blinding flash enveloped the room. When Jack opened his eyes again, he was lying on a bed, naked. His member was raring to go.
Justa and Fortuna were standing on the side, while a faceless white figure stood in between them.
"It’s too soon for you to experience our bodies," Justa announced. "Jenna will help you out this time, since she possesses some divinity." 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"This... is Jenna?" Jack asked, raising an eyebrow.
Jack had imagined how the one behind those messages would look like, but never once did he imagine Jenna like she was... nothing.
She had no face, no eyes or lips. She looked more like a mannequin made of light. A... curvy mannequin. But there was an issue with that.
"This won’t work," Jack said dismissively. "No hate towards you, Jenna. But this doesn’t excite me. It’s too bland."
Justa sighed upon hearing Jack’s words. It was true that Jenna was the perfect candidate, given the task, but Jack had a point. Fortunately, the solution was simple.
Fortuna walked next to Jenna and whispered something into what Jack assumed to be her ear. The next second, the bright light shone again, only this time when it disappeared, two Fortunas were standing before him.
One clothed. One naked.
It seemed Jenna not only assumed Fortuna’s form but also her personality. She walked towards the bed, swaying her hips like a belle dancer while her dark hair flowed behind.
However, Jack’s eyes only lingered on Jenna for a moment. The rest of the time, he kept staring at the real Fortuna. She flinched when their eyes met, sensing the hostility in them.
Meanwhile, Jenna climbed onto the bed and straddled him without a word, her hands sliding over his chest. She wasn’t Fortuna, but her touch didn’t feel any less arousing.
Eager to take the lead, she leaned in to kiss his lips. Just then, Jack’s hand shot up, grabbing her waist as he flipped her onto her back and pinning her hands with his.
"I agreed to help," he said, still staring at Fortuna. "But we’re doing this my way."
