I Don’t Want This Reincarnation-Chapter 328
To explain in detail, I left the drawing-room and immediately took the elevator to the top floor. Cheon Sa-yeon’s house was needed to accommodate a big group of nine people including Edward. So, I had to meet in person to convince him.
The attendant, who was waiting in the hallway, escorted me to the representative office, probably because Cheon Sa-yeon had given him a word in advance. After knocking with an easy mind and opened the door immediately, I belatedly realized that not only Cheon Sa-yeon but also Woo Seo-hyuk were present in the representative office.
“You’re here. Come in.”
“Ah… I’m sorry. You must have been working.”
Seeing Woo Seo-hyuk holding documents, it looked like he was reporting something, but I was worried that I might have broken the flow by intervening for nothing.
When I closed the door and smiled awkwardly, Woo Seo-hyuk shook his head.
“We don’t. I just finished my briefing. Please come in.”
“If you are busy, I can come back later. It’s not that urgent.”
“It’s really alright.”
Cheon Sa-yeon, who drew a smile and watched Woo Seo-hyuk had conversation with me, opened his mouth.
“…I’m the representative.”
“Woo Seo-hyuk-ssi seems to be busier than ever.”
Ah, right. Even if not, I had something to say to Woo Seo-hyuk.
“I heard that you have adjusted the schedule. Thanks to you, I was able to stay by Kim Woo-jin’s side for a long time. I have plenty of time to rest. Thank you, Woo Seo-hyuk-ssi.”
“I’m glad if it’s helped.”
Woo Seo-hyuk responded to my greeting with a calm expression. His attitude as if it wasn’t a big deal even when he took care of the other person touched my heart.
As expected from Woo Seo-hyuk. Even with a short conversation, my heart was reassured. Cheon Sa-yeon started to argue with me, who was touched by the small things.
“You’re doing a lot of things.”
“What’s wrong with you again?”
“Are you asking because you don’t know that? Secretary Woo Seo-hyuk, get out.”
“Yes. We will process the documents after organizing them as you said. I’m leaving first.”
Cheon Sa-yeon’s act of kicking Woo Seo-hyuk out with a smile was amazing. He was jealous because I was only talking to Woo Seo-hyuk, leaving him alone, right?
Cheon Sa-yeon got up from his seat and dragged me to the sofa, regardless of my gaze looking at him with dumbfound feelings. When I sat quietly, wondering what he was going to do, Cheon Sa-yeon, who was sitting next to me, tapped his wrist watch.
Rattle.
A small box that appeared in the air fell onto the table. When I untied the ribbon tied to the box and checked the contents, various candies came out.
“……”
Was it just me? I thought something similar happened before.
I sighed and asked Cheon Sa-yeon, who was waiting for my response with the corners of his mouth raised.
“Did you get a present this time too?”
“No. I bought it myself.”
“You had time to buy something like this?”
“I bought it when I came back from a meeting at the guild management headquarters.”
Last time, he gave me chocolate, but this time it was candy. After this, he would probably buy me some jelly next time.
“Ne honest with me.”
“Um?”
“You didn’t get chocolate as a gift last time, did you prepare it for yourself?”
When I asked suspiciously, Cheon Sa-yeon turned his gaze away. I guess I’m right.
“No wonder you got annoyed as soon as I refused…”
Now I understood Cheon Sa-yeon, who was suddenly showing a sensitive attitude. When I remembered that time and clicked my tongue, Cheon Sa-yeon covered his mouth with his hand, pretending to be very pitiful.
“Without knowing my deepest feelings… my heart still hurts from the wounds I received back then…”
“Stop it. I will eat it.”
If I left him alone, he would make a lot of noise for an hour, so I quickly pulled out a candy and picked it up. Apparently, each colour had a different taste. Among them, I put a light red colour in my mouth.
Contrary to the expectation that it would taste like strawberry or cherry, the peach flavour unexpectedly spread in my mouth. I didn’t expect to be peach flavoured candy. That was interesting.
“So, what do you mean by renting a house?”
“Umm.”
I briefly explained while biting a small round candy.
“There is something I want to do, but the room on the 23rd floor is a little small.”
“What do you want to do?”
“To make time for everyone to get together to eat and take a break. I’ll prepare a drink, too.”
Cheon Sa-yeon responded with surprise when he heard my answer. I guess he didn’t think I would make such an offer.
“Actually, I first thought of it in the past space created by Doctor. I was so busy and hectic that I forgot.”
“Aa, you mean the party at the store?”
“Yeah. Something similar to that. Everyone worked hard this time, so eating delicious food and drinking alcohol will relieve some of the stress.”
“Hm…”
Cheon Sa-yeon, who rubbed the corner of his mouth and blinked for a while, eventually lowered his upper body to me with a deep smile and asked subtly.
“Well, I can lend you a house.”
“……?”
“What will you do for me in return?”
As I reflexively tried to pull my body back, I noticed Cheon Sa-yeon’s hand holding my shoulder. I frowned at the strange situation that was created in an instant.
“What price… can’t you just lend it to me? There’s nothing I can do for you.”
“Think about it. I’m sure there is.”
Cheon Sa-yeon, who bowed his head, placed his forehead on mine.
Surprised by the distance so close that I could feel his breath, I squeezed my hand to push the guy’s chest away, but he didn’t budge.
“Stop it…”
Even if I clenched my teeth and warned, Cheon Sa-yeon just closed his eyes and smiled brightly. I glared at the annoying face and quickly shook my head.
“So… are you saying you won’t rent the house if I don’t pay the price?”
“You’re right.”
“I’ll go to Roheon then.”
“What?”
Cheon Sa-yeon was a little confused by the sudden mention of the Roheon Guild.
“I think Ha Tae-heon-ssi will lend me a house without a price. Get out of the way, I’ll call him now.”
It was true that Cheon Sa-yeon’s house was the largest, but Ha Tae-heon’s house was enough. Looking at Ha Tae-heon’s house, it was quite spacious even it wasn’t as big as Cheon Sa-yeon’s.
Or Park Geon-ho’s house I had been to before wasn’t bad either. I didn’t know if they would give me permission, but I didn’t want to be dragged as Cheon Sa-yeon wanted, so I kept a confident attitude for now.
“…are you doing this on purpose?”
“It’s a natural choice for me because Ha Tae-heon-ssi won’t lend it to me and mention the money like the petty you.”
Cheon Sa-yeon narrowed his eyes without any objection. I smiled at the dissatisfied look and added.
“Come to think of it, I’m asking him to rent a house, but is it okay to do it over the phone? I should meet Ha Tae-heon-ssi and ask him in person.”
“Ha…”
Cheon Sa-yeon’s black eyes gleamed with an uneasy energy, exhaling a short, annoying breath. Chilling goosebumps rushed up my spine in the unusual atmosphere.
“Wait, Cheon…”
It was the moment when I brought out my words with the thought that I should stop whatever he was trying to do. A soft touch touched my lips and fell.
Surprised by the sudden kiss, my lips met Cheon Sa-yeon’s again before I could even avoid it. Unlike the last time I was careful, a big tongue that came in without hesitation pressed my tongue and tickled his mouth.
“Hu, eut…”
My eyes closed tightly at the unfamiliar sensation. Cheon Sa-yeon took every tense breath, loaded his weight and pushed me back.
Helplessly lying on the couch, I struggled with my legs and gave strength to my arms to push Cheon Sa-yeon away. Regardless of that, Cheon Sa-yeon licked my lips and contined kissing me, who was suffocating by him.
“Sto, uph… uh… stop, it…”
As I gripped Cheon Sa-yeon’s chest with his trembling hands, the lips that were blocking my breathing fell off. Cheon Sa-yeon muttered with a look of regret.
“It tastes like peaches.”
When I took a quick breath and licked my panting lips, Cheon Sa-yeon kept kissing the cheeks and near the nape of my neck as if he wanted to do it again.
“What are you doing all of a sudden, you idiot?”
As I twisted my head to avoid the kiss pouring down on my face, Cheon Sa-yeon fluttered his long eyelashes and said.
“I want to do it.”
Are you calling it an excuse now, you bastard? In anger, I pulled Cheon Sa-yeon’s hair roughly.
“I said I won’t pay. I don’t need your house!”
“Aya, this is not the price.”
“What?”
“Wish.”
Cheon Sa-yeon, who was dragged along as soon as I pulled his hair, laughed lightly.
“I asked you to grant me a wish. I used that wish.”
“……”
Wish… if so, I had nothing to say. But he used his wish for something like this? It was no joke at all. Cheon Sa-yeon grabbed me and lifted my upper body.
“I let you borrow the house. But not right away. Everyone needs a break.”
“That’s what I think too. When would be good?”
“Next Saturday looks better. By then, everyone seems to be in a somewhat better condition.”
It was definitely the right date. Three of the team members were in a state of rest due to injuries, so it would be better to ask for their opinions separately later.
“You said you definitely would rent the house. Don’t say anything else later.”
Cheon Sa-yeon shrugged as I warned while rubbing my damp lips with the back of my hand.
“It’s not like I’m idle enough to say something like this. Rather, the act of wiping your lips hurts my heart…”
“Be quiet, I’m holding back what I want to curse.”
I straigthened my upper body and swept away the messy hair, bringing up what I had been wanting to ask for a while now.
“I was going to call Edward-ssi too… is he having a hard time?”
“If it’s Eddy… I don’t know. Before Saturday, he could finish his work in Korea and go back to America.”
“As expected.”
“If you’re that sad, I’ll contact him later to find out, but don’t expect too much.”
There was nothing wrong with finding out. I nodded and got up from my seat.
“I’m leaving because we’re done talking.”
“Aren’t you going to take candy?”
“I eat too much.”
I had to get out of this harmful place as soon as possible. Without looking back, I walked to the door of the representative office as if running away and heard Cheon Sa-yeon’s laughter. That kid was the one who did the shameless thing, so why should I be ashamed? It wasn’t really funny.
I left the representative office, vowing that I would never get caught up in this kind of trick again.
